Awesome reaction guys! LOVE the new album, it is by far the best album of 2020. There are no bad songs, and there is so much diversity throughout the album when it comes to drums, bass, guitars, lyrics, vocals. I just love it! DT keeps just bringing amazing music to the world 🤘

From the words of Eddie from the movie Eddie and the cruisers 2. You have to let music breathe. Guitars don’t have to be completely insane and you don’t have to shred constantly to be an amazing guitarist. This guy is a perfect example of that. The guitars in this song are amazing, they’re actually amazing throughout the entire album. This is one of my favorite albums from 2020. My favorite was sevendust blood & stone. But this was definitely my 2nd favorite. His cleans on this song and in the rest of the album are beautiful. He upped his game when it came to recording cleans for this album. This is definitely one of the best dark tranquility albums I’ve heard in a while. Like I love their last few albums. But this one is written perfectly in my opinion.
I was so sure what would be my top 3 albums of 2020, until the new album by DT came out. Still not quite sure in which order to put them, but now it's a top 4: Paradise Lost - Obsidian; Heaven Shall Burn - Of Truth and Sacrifice; Draconian - Under a Godless Veil and of course Dark Tranquility - Moment. And this is probably the first time in history that Nightwish doesn't get Pole position in a year with a new album, and even when I have some gripes about Human:II:Nature, this speaks more to the extraordinary quality of those 4 masterpieces.
Has everyone heard the bonus tracks on the special edition cd for this album? Both songs are amazing and include clean vocals as well. Silence as a Force and Time in Relativity are the two songs. If you haven't heard them yet, give them a listen!
I totally share your sentiments about Dark Tranquillity. Not many metal bands can touch that deeply. However, talking about guitars I am sad to say that I used to listen to Dark Tranquillity for the guitar riffs and songs with guitar riffs like Hedon and The New Build lately are hard to find. This song in particular has one pretty memorable fast riff in the middle before the 2nd chorus, but those kinds of riffs are few and far in between. Yes, band mastered atmospherics and melodies and they display it a lot, but it comes with some sacrificed stand-out guitar play. I suggest doing a reaction to some of their older hits like Hedon, Punish My Heaven, Senses tied - I think those songs should show what certain fans find missing nowadays.
I loved Atoma, but this album...geez, the whole album is just heart, and Mikael's lyrics are beautiful, thoughtful, and even sad. They all represent the current human experience in this world, now or before covid, the fucked up ways of our behaviours within society.
This is sooo good, I love it... just as their whole album, it is yet another masterpiece. I can't decide between this album or Draconians latest for the album of the year, I think they'll have to share my first place.

Evergrey is one of the most underrated bands ever. Absolutely amazing discography. In Search Of Truth is my personal favorite and the best album ever recorded.
Melodeath Gothenburg style has moved to Buffalo USA. Listen to The Last Reign, album Evolution. It's closer to the melodeath played in Gothenburg around year 1995. Kick ass music.
