I made it 1984 while working in Sheet Metal Shop, no pattern..figured it out as I went along...trim cut and so on, wish I did make pattern but it did go through changes for a couple of years. I made it so I could drive my van at the time.
26 and 24 gauge galvanized sheet metal, just like stove pipe but flat sheets as used in heating ducts, there is some copper used as button and part of the collar..old hammer type rivets are used to hold many parts together because they are much stronger than common pop rivets.
