You are certainly correct when you say you’ve never had a conversation like this on the show. I loved listening to it, and would love to see Kristian back on for another episode. It’s so nice to see his face after many years, to hear what life has been like for him since high school, and to hear that through it all he has come to know and love Jesus. Also a nice surprise to hear that his father and brothers are also so passionate about serving God.
Thanks Kristian. Proud of you. The last few years, your dad has been a really big part of my faith and life. It made me smile to hear stories from your perspective and suggested "reading lists" that he's had me read as well.
Coming from a totally different perspective, as someone who focuses heavily on money, I experienced an identical problem of not having a bedrock or support system during the hard times. What was interesting was that as I made more and more, "the devil," or temptation, or hedonism-whatever you want to call it-became stronger and stronger. I looked at all the really successful entrepreneurs I knew, and there were clearly two paths: get back in with faith, or dive headfirst into hedonism. The side that chose faith seemed far happier (albeit with their Instagrams looking more boring) than the other crowd. Just my two cents.
I think it’s so ludicrous people don’t believe Jesus was a historical person who existed. Jews Romans and many others have written about him and there is excessive documentation of him
Hahah i wouldnt say i love psychedelics anymore but i have certainly done more than most. I think psychedelics are hijacking the neural mechanisms that we typically access through spiritual disciplines like fasting, prayer and toil. Those disciplines will provide more true Tuth than psychedelics ever will, albeit maybe not always as quick as we would like sometimes :)
Nice work you guys’
Thank you 🙌

He’s a force of Nature!! God has blessed many through Him and it’s an honor to be his son. Big shoes to fill!!!
Excellent episode as always... Love how you bring on such different guests every week, all equally interesting. Can't wait to see this thing grow.
Totally agree, always such different concepts

so well said, and i’m very curious if anyone else can resonate with this… hedonism is the devil in disguise.
