Our Husker group of friends trusts you guys above all else. If Sean Sipp and Robin report something we know it’s been vetted. You guys are the best. Congrats!
Appreciate you all pulling together and making the post-game shows, ESPECIALLY after a loss. It helps me process through it all and get it out of my system a little more 👍🏼
As it concerns conference realignment, I think you guys are 100% on point with the conference realignment talk. The talk by the SEC was "We took Oklahoma and Texas because if we didn't the Big 10 would have." Now, as it concerns FSU and Clemson, do we really think the internal talk is "Oh, we're good. FSU is this big problem program and we don't want them." What school has been more disruptive in conference realignment than Texas? Sometimes, if it looks like a load of crap, if it smells like a load of crap, if it sounds like a load of crap, it's a load of crap. I listened to some guys talking that interpreted a lot of this as people trying to downbid Clemson and FSU by making them think "Nobody wants you." I'll tell you what I think, and maybe I'm uninformed, but I'll tell you what I think. 1. A lot of people really don't want this conference expansion to happen, but they don't have a choice and it's going to happen. 2. ESPN screwed up bad with the ACC and they're trying to do everything they can to save things with the SEC. If you are Florida State right now, why would you want to go to the SEC, apart from geography? ESPN has basically destroyed the ACC. ESPN held you out of the college football playoff. How many years have the SEC and ESPN basically ragged on you? Why would you want to go to the SEC? Here's the other side: what will happen to the SEC if FSU and Clemson go to the Big 10? For years, the SEC has bragged about how they're the #1 conference in college football. They've bragged about having the most draft picks. They've bragged about having the deepest conference. What happens if you put Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Oregon, Clemson, and Florida State all in one conference? What if the Big 10 pulls in North Carolina and Virginia Tech? All of a sudden, I think the SEC and by extension, ESPN finds itself in a position where they don't have the same level of dominance. What happens to the SEC if they go 2 or 3 or 4 years in a row without winning a national title? Unless the Big 10 really messes things up, they're in contention to surpass the SEC in most metrics if they can pull in FSU and Clemson. If you could do that, why would you not add FSU and Clemson?
The show has always been great, even though that our team has been losers. I can’t imagine the show when we start winning and getting five stars on the regular.
Considering Nebraska has lost sooo many one score games over the last number of years I'm surprised that Tristan Alvano wasn't in the top 5. He in fact will likely be the difference in a couple close games. Jsn
Another milestone for Husker Online @ 500 ! Congratulations to that, but now it's on to 1000 and 50K subscribers! The subject of the NSAA championships may be simpler than we think. Eliminate those games played in Memorial Stadium and go back to the way it was up to 1996 ; . . . go back to having the high schools host the playoff or title games. It's not that hard a decision, and it would involve their relative communities more. Save the grass in Memorial Stadium for NU games only, otherwise it'll look like a mud track at a monster truck rally.
Ty rob should be the defensive guy, stats are only numbers ty has been double teamed for two years ,frees up everyone, this yesr they can't due it.all , these seniors came back cause ty came back first, others followed.whose going to big 10 day ? Coaches understand
BIG10 said they were not going after PAC 10 teams right before they grabbed the PAC10 teams. This is just like mis-information right before the NFL draft on the players. Complete BS.
Awful take. If QB is the most important position, why has Caleb Williams never won a natty? Isn't he the Heisman winner and the best QB last year. Shudder is one of the better QBs they only won 4 games. McCarthy was good, but he did not play the best or have the best numbers, and he won the natty. QBs do not guarantee wins. You win by removing weak links.
Sipple knows we belong in Big 12 or Mountain West. Nebraska can love getting Big Ten money but it will never win the conference. Won't play for any title and won't make the playoffs.
Okay guy. I forgot, Washington and TCU are so much better and well established than us? Don't be ignorant buddy we have the resources and support to do it.
Another solid episode. Good analysis on the SEC and B1G. To me, SEC will always be a superior conference because of the history, location and it just means more. Case in point you covered... SEC played football with fans in 2020 vs B1G wanted to cancel the season to push a political agenda and then finally caved & allowed a limited season with no fans.

😂
Sean, Sip and Rob sure make my day! Congrats on 500!
I completely agree with Sip. Rank players on talent, not because of the position itself.
Love this show, look forward to it every week!
I think we hire the dads of all the 5 star players we are after, as coaches 👍🏼
Congratulations! 500! 🎉
Sip was really taking it on the shins early😂 Happy 500 boys!!! GBR!!!
Congrats gang!
Congratulations on the 500
Keep up the good work guys!
Sipple is 100 on Gifford, his leadership , I think is his best attribute, he's bought in and it shows, he plays above his weight
Did i miss you guys announcing the grass field was official on a previous show?
Congrats. Best Husker football platform. Cover Husker wrestling too
The main benefit of adding FSU is recruiting in Florida
Big Ten does NOT NEED Clemson, FState in the Big Ten. We've got enough right now.
Congratulations on show #500 ! ( Now Sean, go take that Deion bumper sticker off of your car. )
Rank the players like students. Simply on talent. Give each one a grade from 0 to 100.

They are staying
Notre Dame will join the B1G at some point. Guaranteed.

Maybe in a future show, Sipple can name his 3 favorite teeth.
Happy #500
Thank you!
Raw dogging this podcast at work right now.
As you would expect, Sipple totally "wrecked the curve" and in bad way. Lmao 🤣
UNO's field used to be a football field. Can they convert it back or would that be too much work?
Considering Nebraska has lost sooo many one score games over the last number of years I'm surprised that Tristan Alvano wasn't in the top 5. He in fact will likely be the difference in a couple close games. Jsn
He has to prove himself first. There is no way he can be in the top 5. Your goal is always TD's our offense needs to be the juggernaut.
GBR!!!

Congrats on your 500th. Husker online is the place I get great Husker news. Thanks guys.
Reminds me of Wan'Dale Robinson
Sipple is getting better with Larson Motors ad.

Td ameritrade for state football?
Is there a chance that Ethan Nation returns?

Sip, for crying out loud -- wear a helmet if you are riding a motorcycle! Trust me, nobody wants your spare body parts. haha

Ok easy up now Sean . *in Sips voice* your being a little to mean this time
