This was awesome. I loved the private tour with the first officer. It’s fascinating to learn the details about the boat from someone in his position. Thanks! 😊❤️
A real bang to the new year. A wonderful yacht, with really good features, plenty of guest space, the crew look really professional. Nothing else needed, great relaxing work through, nice format with plenty of information. Good job team and happy new year.
Monday morning here in Portugal and my first New Years pleasure seeing you David. I think you look look a lot slimmer and l hope that you are well. Jon is obviously the main man and looking at your walk through with him the yacht would not swim so well without him. Thanks for this excellent walk through by two absolute professionals.
Very good walk through and what a beautiful yacht. "Watch out" MY LOON!!! The Master Cabin, VIP Cabins multi bed Cabins very accommodating. The Galley loved it. The bridge excellent set up it seemed. Balconies great set up better than hydraulic balconies. Looking forward to full tour if possible.
The best part of this walkthrough of a VERY impressive boat was the introduction to the XO. He came across as very knowledgeable, aproachacble and affable, Valinor's own version of Enterprise's Ryker. Everyone on board will know this man has their interests at heart yet, as the XO, he has the backbone to run the boat right. The only thing to wonder about is why he is not the Captain. The Captain must be seriously imposing.
Like the yacht. Especially that the GA is different to 'all' other yachts. 28m USD is a bargain. Now need enough money in a lottery and she will become "my precious"...
This is a prime example of why I love the 150'/45m and above category. So much that was enjoyable, but the open kitchen and the way the Pullman's worked was unique. Such a tasteful interior and artwork.
The most important thing about this yacht is the simple fact that it is called Valinor, which is the Blessed Kingdom, a fictional location in J. R. R. Tolkien's Legendarium, the home of the immortal Valar on the continent of Aman, far to the west of Middle-earth. And he, J. R. R. Tolkien, used the name Aman mainly to mean Valinor. It includes Eldamar, the land of the Elves, who, as immortals, are allowed to live in Valinor. That alone makes this yacht special!
I'll be publishing it next Saturday. Haven't quite finished the editing yet, so I'm not sure what appeared and then disappeared. Maybe a ghost video? 😂
I really like the Westport 164 series yachts. This rendition is a showcase example of the quality typical of the Brand, but without an elevator, or a day head on the sundeck, a yacht of this calibre seems incomplete.
My dad was in the Air Force. We lived in Yalova in 1962, 63 and 64. The base he was stationed at was in Karamusel. We were there during the Cuban Missile Crisis. The military was going to evacuate us by Submarine. I placed this comment here because I can’t place comments in “Shorts”.
You can also buy a drink or three and that tends to affect the manners in even the best (worst?) of us. That said, I make a point to stand when meeting / greeting new people (even brokers.)
Nothing will beat Loon in my opinion but this is very nice, especially if there’s not so many guests. I think not only the chef but all crew make a huge difference to a successful charter. “Speak to charter broker about a helicopter” yes, probably doubles the price of the charter 😂😂.
I was wondering that myself. I recall the VIP room on the bridge deck and the master - a solid master cabin - below the main. Maybe the owner wanted it higher? I don't think I'd call it terrible for private use but it certainly wouldn't be my first choice, either.
This is the only channel where the presenter is on camera more that the presentation... No wonder this is the only yacht channel that never seem to grow over the years.. Great... nice guys. ..fine.. but Just show the boat instead of discussing it while standing still...
@@Coowallsky Yeah, I liked them when they first came out, but now they seem to be more about seeing how much filler than can put into their videos by repeating what each other states. "This is a day head." "Oh, is that the day head there?"
@@grondhero I got tired of the tedious way she acts like a juvenile to get laughs and he just goes along. The fact that she interrupts him and anyone they're interviewing (including Alexi) is just rude.

I don't know precisely what it is about your videos, but they put a smile on my face.
This is so true.

I like this yacht. Love the woodwork and the spacious cabins.
Beautiful super Yacht thanks for the tour David.
Love the yacht name. Thanks to the chief officer
Fantastic ship. Loved it. Old school wooden style with modern fit out. Not a thing i didn't enjoy. Thanks guys. Great start to the year.
The GA and interior design are _chef's kiss_ ! Definitely a lot of ideas I'm stealing for my dream yacht.

For the bit about models @31:14, my father would say that if they aren't using models to sell it then he sure can't afford it.
Rescue diver in the water. Does it mean, every time the boss is arriving with heli, a rescue diver is floating around for the time of landing?
Those cabins are huge. How did they create so much space? Ive seen tours of other Westfields and the cabins were much smaller
I like the idea of getting real people to be your model. I would like to volunteer.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

The walkway infront of the pilothouse.

I always thought a sea plane pickup from a tender made more sense than a helicopter
Nice
Such a nice guy, the CO!
Very beautiful woodwork unlike modern "Ikea" design or older darker tones of cherry.
Still think this is a way better looking yacht than the one they replaced it with.
I like the 'impromptu' style of videography as a prelude to the official production

Clearly your saltiness has never watched Nautistyles. This wasn't a formal tour, Einstein.
