He may have been involved in anti muslim activities but his search for truth has lead him to Islam. Being sincere, honest and humble in search of truth can never go waste. Subhanallah, In so many stories starting from Salman Farsi when anyone makes a sincere attempt to pursuit the truth and ask “Help me, find the truth or help me find you”. Allah is HADI, Allah will guide the seeker. Joram’s story parallels all seeker of truth.
My grandparents lived and escaped the Dutch colonial rule. Then and especially now with recent incident in Amsterdam, for the life of me, I do not understand people from where I come from, lookup to, belief in and follow people who not only are clearly spewing incessant lies to this day. May Allah in His infinite Wisdom, Unlimited Mercy, Ever-reaching Benevolence, do not make us like those who are willing to have their cities, properties trashed and fellow citizens hurt just because of their endemic and inherent hatred.
