First you wipe away the excess according to the instructions then you left with the stain in the product then you treat the stain with the Tide pen is it perfect no but it's better than nothing. Works really well with coffee

Anyone that rubs in the solution with a towel clearly has no idea what they are doing. Tide To-Go has always worked pretty well for me.
After applying the stain remover, I like to place a folded up, absorbent fabric over the stain, and then I put something heavy on top to apply constant pressure. I'll leave it like that for a few hours sometimes, depending on the size of the stain.
I've used this technique with multiple different stain removers, and it rarely fails me. I've even gotten blood out of carpet. Hell, I've gotten wine out of carpet.

Idk why I’m on here it took me a while to figure out the pen. But honestly you a typical dude you don’t fallow directions. They say press down and then rub it. You don’t press down at first and when u do u gap it and then use a rag to rub it... no u need to to hold down the pen and saturate the area and then use the pen to rub it no rag. 🤦🏻‍♀️ idk man. I use this more this more vs then any spray n wash prior to wash machine since it removes more than those pre treatments. But also it does help with little stains when I wear white to work for the day.
