Please Note - David did not mean a Ceaser Guerini would be a step to the side of a Yildiz Pro. These guns are at different price points and therefore a Yildiz Pro probably wouldn’t be a contender for a second gun if you were in the market for a Ceaser Guerini. Hope this clears things up
Across the pond, the best all around Browning is the Citori CX. The Crossover CX is mid rib that can do it all, and the cost to valve can not be beat. 2024 price is about $2200USD.
Sorry David fan of your channel but how can you say Caesar Guerini is a step too the side the invictus has just won the world Fitasc championship in Italy with Alessandro Gaetani. Brody Willard has won the English open and that’s looking in from here in Australia mate and let’s be fair the Invictus is an off the shelf gun as well mate
I’d love to see you say Ceasar Geurini aren’t a step up to some of the people i know the Invictus is one of the best handling guns under £5000 Richard Faulds shoots one you’ve missed out the Beretta 694 also one of the top selling guns under 5k !
@UCxoKr6VnBCNTqQMmFO8mFGw The Yildiz Pro adjustable is a hell of a gun for the money but your not getting more then your paying for it’s like a Perazzi but it’s not a Perazzi they do have very good trigger pulls for the money and feel less clunky then a browning or beretta in opening and closing but that’s it
Have the CG Summit traded in my 694( a very well build gun take stock off receiver is beautiful) because I didn’t shoot well with it, I’m still happy with the decision. Gun fit is everything.
i got a 2nd hand b725s as my first gun it was two years old im loving it i didnt realise it was a like a midrange tier it just felt right and i got it been shooting 6 months i go like every 2 weeks and im averaging like 65-70% im pretty happy with that. Im not looking for a new gun just love watching the vids and gaining more info. Thank you.
been shooting sporting for just under 2 years, first gun brand new silver pigeon field for about 18 months (thought i was going to do more pigeon shooting but didn`t should have got the sporter!) 2nd gun 694 50th anniversary edition, do not regret selling 686 at all. My shooting buddy bought it so see it every week which is weird sometimes.
It's not the cost of what your shooting that makes a good shot, it's a combination of a gun that fits you and your comfortable, familiar with, also ability to a certain extent, not the price tag.
I like "The Shooting Channel" and David but to say Caesar Guerini is not a step up from a Yildiz Pro (which is a good gun) is quite frankly a joke. The entry level GC, the Summit is a better gun than the Yildiz higher end Pro.
I bought myself a beretta 694 as my first gun as that's all I have shot and I have shot over 50% on my 5 100 bird sportings so that's why I bought that one .
Not my first gun by a long way, BUT - I now have my stock from my first Browning Gti 29 1/2" 1994 trap, on one i bought a few years ago. I own three of them, all trap - 29 1/2" and two 32"s. I shoot everything with it regardless. The 'P' gun sits in the cupboard.
Hi David, I really agree with your main point, "Go and try, before you spend your money" Yesterday I tried 2 nice guns and was sure I would love the Blaser(F3 high rib) over the ultra xs pro, but it just didn't work out that way. Loved the balance and feel with the xs, and maby the F3 could be fitted but I would not spend that extra after having tried the guns
The big absentee on that table is a Beretta DT10 or preferably DT11....the Sporter version can be used for trap, sporting and even skeet since it's multi-choked. David, please do a review of DT11 and Beretta A400....
@@cheech2011 Yeah I think you have a valid point there but still he's not into the DT series anyway. A second-hand DT10 could be in that price range. 🤔🙂
i started with a lanber sporter delux 12b then bought aya sxs 12b and a essx sxs12b , then bought franchi affinty 12b and a b725 hunter in 20b . sxs now sold but kept the others as they all have a purpose but my main gun is my 20b b725 i love it
I would say get a gun that fits you and your shooting style perfectly, no matter if 1000 or 5000 dollars. I went from a $3500 gun to a $1000_gun and vast improvement was clear after only 200 shots. The difference was fit and more suited my natural style.
I have bought, shot and sold 13 guns in the last 3 years until I found my "perfect gun"! I wish I had a shooting school to try before you buy. Please take advantage of this to save money and get the right gun the first time.
I bought a 725 mk2 when I got my licence as my first gun. Logic was, I'll never be able to outshoot it so no reason to ever change it. Five years on from buying it, I can on average shoot 42-47 / 50 every weekend. My biggest gain came from a professional gunsmith fitting the gun to me. Second biggest gain was watching hours upon hours upon months! of Shotkam footage of others shoot. Now I want to replace it with either a 725 Pro Master, 694 ACS or Blaser F3 Super sport. Why? well I bought a second gun, something a little different just to shoot for fun, it's a Beretta A400 Multi Target high rib Monte Carlo stock, the heads-up Monte Carlo stock with adjustable comb and an adjustable rib has enabled me to dial the gun in perfectly to how I want to shoot. I've been smitten by high rib Monte Carlo stocks that come with full adjustability from combs and ribs. They enable you to get what you want with time and pattern plates. Head up clearer vision. For me... it works. Also bought a 325 for the kids! A more expensive gun won't make you shoot more clays, coaching would. But.... we all like newer, more shiny toys! :)
My first gun is a CZ Teal 20 gauge. Bought as an all around gun. Have gotten into more trap shooting and want a gun that I can shoot trap and sporting clays with.
Hello, I like your reviews. I am thinking about buying a Rizzini Artemis light.12, 28"game gun. Is that a good gun to add or is there a gun you have mentioned that you prefer better. I have a Caesar Guerini magnus light and wanted to start a collection to keep for my son after me. Your thoughts are really appreciated. Also planning on getting a beretta and a browning at some point. thank you R from Los Angeles
Since ppl where I live are allowed to have 2 shotguns only, I made the big leap from an Akkar to Beretta DT11.... I've lived happily ever after lol 😊😊😊🤗
Started with a Lanber Sporter (still have), my second gun was a Silver Pigeon that I did not get on with so part exchanged it for a 691 Sporter which I really like, my third gun is .410 Silver Pigeon and my fourth gun is the latest A400. Currently looking for a nice side by side to add to the collection.
What does upgrading from what I have, a browning 525 to say a 725 or above do? I’ve seen it as a gun shoots the same as another gun so will a better quality one get you them extra few targets or just more comfortable?
The difference between a 525 and a pro sport or the likes is mainly the adjustment levels on the gun, barrel/stock weights, adjustable stocks, extra pads, nicer chokes etc, then some extra luxury of nicer wood / cases, shooting scores haven't improved that much over the last 40years and that is with a large wealth of knowledge and training nowadays- that should tell you all you need to know about how much extra you get in top end guns, gun fit and feel is 90% plus of shooting
Caesar Guerini a sideways move, have they upset you in some way David, if not let your dad do the gun reviews 😂😂 At least Johnny Carter and Lloyd Pattison do honest reviews, they tell you what they like but also review other brands honestly, some people can’t lie in bed straight.
Thank you for your comment and no Caesar Guerini have not up set me if you go out to Italy were they are all made you will see why I made that comment as they are all made in the same way have you been to were they are made? Thanks TSC Team
@@TSCTheshootingchannel yes I have actually and even Perazzi and beretta which you seem to think are built better are CNC made nowadays and then hand finished, Perazzi believe it or not have also moved into the modern world and even machine make stocks. Think there's a reason why Perazzie have won 54 Olympic medals, just get one. Then get a great shooting coach and offer him £3k to teach you how to shoot.
I must be getting miserable in my old age..I just don't see the value in new guns.....much prefer the quality in older stuff and many a bargain can be had for under 2 k

What he said was that a CG would be a side step to your first gun. Absolute nonsense.
I think it has been misunderstood, he meant it would be a sidestep to the upper end of the choices for the second guns
@@TSCTheshootingchannel so why avoid them?
@@jameshardy4666 because the Oxford Gun Company doesn’t sell them.
