As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.

I love how "Piss Boy" steals the bomb from Furiosa then throws himself into the truck before it explodes. It's so smooth.
It also showcases just how dangerous the Warboys are. They have better coordination and tactics than other gangs in the Wasteland. If they're mortally wounded (like "Piss Boy"), they always find a way to take the enemy with them to the grave. They're a cult entirely devoted to Immortan Joe and won't quit until they're dead.
By using the idea of taking the enemy to the grave, it also avoids the issue of taking care of injured Warboys. The idea of making them have to witness means the Warboys will stay in a group rather than going all over the place.

The octo boss parachute in the background shots before being focused on was so cool!
It's like a video game. While you are fighting off the minions the boss is in the background waiting. Once you've killed off most of the minions the boss steps in and the boss fight begins.

It gives people a feeling of a bottomless pit, devouring everything.
So crazy to look at the first rig chase in The Road Warrior back in 1982 and compare it to how crazy and complex this one is in 2024 with Furiosa. It's a shame we will never get the chance to see what George had in mind for The Wasteland but at least we have this to be thankful for.... WITNESS!
Don’t lost hope regarding The Wasteland. I pray to God that Warner Brothers will allow him to make it. Furiosa is doing great with VOD sales. I refuse to lose hope.

This was good? Fury road is one of my all time favorite movies and this honestly is worse in every aspect. 95% was poorly done cgi. Where's the practical effects, the love of the work, you will never convince me this movie was actually done by Miller, no way no how.

I love this scene, chemistry between jack and furiosa, calm but shows that they are professionals in fighting

I wouldn't call this film perfect, but the lead bandit's glider in this scene is very cool. Loving the swirling black fronds that he has, and it's nice that the glider only remains a spectre in the background until the battle's climax

The War Pup was adorable. I liked the interaction between him and the older War Boy. I also like that they don’t do all these unnecessary closeup shots on the Octoboss until he is literally right there, that way he seems more scary and not all cartoon-evil.

Nobody appreciates enough how Black Thumb realized in a heartbeat that even though Furiosa had betrayed Immortan Joe, she was not going to betray the crew. This movie is so underrated

@mariaruelasrodriguez6739 this film even more than Fury Road really made me feel sorry for them. I think because there are so many more scenes with younger war boys but also just how vulnerable and expendable they are is really shown in spades in this film. They're really just another victim.

I really admire praetorian Jack's leadership. He's calm, strategic, and caring of his crew. Even yells down to furiosa to hang tight. He's not just driving but he's also joining in on the fight as well.

It's too bad this did poorly at the box office. But then again, going to the movies became passe' during COVID. It looks exciting and I plan on streaming it soon, mostly because of Anya Taylor-Joy.
There was simply no demand for a prequel film about Furiosa.

Yet people like you went to see godzillaxkong over this, and that movie has worse looking CGI, specially compare to godzilla minus one... the real motto is "Act angry unless none one will be angry at you"
Except it's exponentially cheaper to use CGI. Before you judge this film or another based-on it's usage of CGI, blame the studios for not having enough faith in the script to shell out the $$$ needed to implement practical-effects. I feel like everyone is blaming the director, & (for some reason) Anya Taylor-Joy for the fact that they didn't use practical effects, or the combat being _"unrealistic",_ but I think they did a phenomenal job w/what was available despite being dependant on CGI, & criticizing a film in the _Mad Max_ universe for being unrealistic is sort-of ridiculous. I'm honestly very skeptical if the people coming up w/criticisms &/or condemning this film are just misogynists who automatically assume it's _✌🏻woke✌🏻_ propaganda just because it features a female lead, w/out ever actually giving the film a chance & I'm pretty sure that for the most part that is the case. It's not _"woke"_ in the slightest, & ATJ had big shoes to fill, & played the role flawlessly, along w/Chris Hemsworth portraying a charismatic villain who rides the line perfectly of being just hateable enough to root against.✌🏻🧔🏼♂️

To play Devil's advocate you have to offer a line reasoning that counters the logistics of the point I was making - instead you agreed that WB had no reason not to shell out the budget for the film, which I completely agree w/. My point was people are blaming the director & cast for the usage of CGI, when it's almost entirely out of their control, & regardless of the limitations they were faced w/, it was still a great film in an already great franchise.

The performance of this part in the movie is really great, which is better than the first episode.
The cruelty of the road, the human body being crushed and rotten, was ignored in the first episode.
The plot action arrangement is very complete and coherent. The first episode has more trivial scenes. This episode strengthens the relationship between the characters and any miscellaneous soldiers is very important.
The bond of the war boy is also sympathetic. The enemy in the first episode is like a stage play.
Anya is a Zipper from Rescue rangers.

I love this universe
My only complaint with this film is the lack of rock/in general music I feel like it was way more audible in fury road. But in this film there's alot of silence/ambience which can work but idk it doesn't feel as "mad" as fury road did in its action scenes, still amazing none-the-less its jus missing that one extra oomph
What pisses me off is that even when the Doof Warrior was on screen his music was barely music at all
The pausing of them staring at each other is unbearable we get they love each other

Without question. But from what I’ve heard it wasn’t great shooting in Namibia so I get why they didn’t wanna go there for this one
They filmed this in Australia and had to digitally remove the vegetation in the background. That's why it looks like it's filmed on a green screen, otherwise still alot of the stuff in the film is practical.
Agreed. It just doesn't look GOOD. I'd say even Fury Road was a touch too stylized, but this look like a cartoon.

I think it's because of the cinematographer. Same guy worked on 300. Pretty much the reason why effects look bad is because he makes everything so clean and shiny. Fury Road cinematographer has much darker and shadowy style.
