- Vice President Kamala Harris addressed the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute conference in Washington. The campaign is amplifying its messaging to the Latino community, an effort coinciding with the start of Hispanic Heritage Month on Sept. 15. Harris is turning her focus to Hispanic voters as she looks to shore up support among one of the Democratic Party’s key blocs, a group with sizable populations in critical swing states and among whom Republican rival Donald Trump has made inroads.

She described her mother as a brown woman, listen to her those who use the word black, we are people of colors, to be inclusive we must go back and reexamine the word black. We have a family of colors. Don’t box ourselves in by only using the word black. We are no longer black and proud, for if we were we would be more like one family. My DNA says I am 97% of African make up. Yet my family DNA is made up of people in China, Japanese, Australia, Netherland, Native American, Cuba, Puerto Rican, Jamaican, Barbados, Mexican, Canada, Dominican Republic, Ireland, European and Colombian. There I am, a family of many ethnicities and colors. Please stop trying to separate us when we should be drawing ourselves together not apart. We are more stronger together than apart, we cannot fight for our nation Democracy separately but together as ONE!

I’m a huge fan of equality and diversity all across the world. If I see you fall and hurt yourself I will run to ask if I can help in any way, not what beliefs you have, who you vote for or least of all - what colour you are. I see in Kamala a chance to heal these horrible fractures in society. We could do with a positive, kind, independent, courageous Lady in charge to lift up those who need a hand and empower Americans to be able to enjoy life.

That person doesn't necessarily have to be male or female.
That person does however have to respect the United States Constitution. (Including the Bill of Rights)
In a world where we will very likely be at war with Russia, China and North Korea very soon, I don't think Kamala has what it takes to see us through such a perilous crucible.
The simple fact that she wants to subvert, amend and suppress the second amendment makes her unworthy of the position of President of the United States.

I like how vice president Harris speaks to the Hispanic population, with understanding that we are also concerned about policies and equality.
