Watching fishing maestro Bill Dance was one Luke Bryan's joys growing up. The rod and reel star's TV show revealed all the secrets of bringing home a big one from the lake, stream, or pond. So it made mucho sense when the country superstar decided to celebrate his hero in song, and put the track on his 'Born Here Live Here Die Here' album. A while back there was occasion for Bryan to play it with Dance right in the audience, and it didn't take long for the pair to shake hands on the prospect of knocking out a video at Bryan's Tennessee farm. Director Michael Monaco says it just might've been the coolest day in Luke's life. Dance says he was "touched" to have someone of Luke's stature sing a song about him. Luke says the entire shebang was "so dang fun." As usual, Footnotes gives you the insider perspective with exclusive interviews by all.

I love watchin' this video and I love the look on Luke's face, it looks like he's having the time of his life. To me it showed his inner kid, doing something he's always wanted to do. His boys also look like they're thoroughly enjoying themselves and I know it meant a lot to them and Luke. I too grew up watchin' fishin' shows, started watchin' them when I was five and that's where I got my love of fishin'. It's a perfect way to just enjoy everything mother nature has to offer and relax. Such an awesome song and it makes me want to go fishin'. This would probably never happen but I'd kinda like to see how it would be to fish with Luke...I think it would awesome. I love Luke and his music...such a cool video.
