      @@edwardleefilms I think you should! I feel that people who are just going through desk video after desk video will leave if they don’t care for it, but those who appreciate the way you think will find the most value in that!

    I really love your videos and also the aesthetics for your desk setups. Like you said, the pressure of wanting to get your desk setups is something everyone like me go through after watching videos like this. For now i cant afford alot of things, so i just get them one after another when i have the money. Thanks anyways

    • @edwardleefilms
      @edwardleefilms  Рік тому

      Yeah, trust me man - I go through the same things! I think everyone does. But just take your time and save up for all the right items that you want. No rush at all. One thing I didn't mention in the video was that I typically buy the most useful things first so I can use the items as I build my desk. So like computer and displays are always the first big ticket items I invest into

    Love the advice, finally upgrading my desk to a nice wooden standing desk and trying to approach it similarly! Reusing most of my peripherals but excited to try and mount the monitors differently and switch up my layout! Hard to take my time and not go overboard buying LED lights or strips and cable management before the desk arrives.

      Yes! It is the HM Aeron. Definitely not a cheap chair but I found mine on craigslist and only paid about $600. Which is still expensive lol but much better than the retail price. It is hands down the most comfortable chair I have every had though. For me it's not like a chair can be life changing when you sit on it for the first time but it's more of how your back feels after sitting for 8 hours.

These are 1. larger, 2. way better made, 3. the sound difference is stellar. And I believe they are currently on sale in USA, so even cheaper than A2's but 10 leagues better. Check em out 😉

      @DenisSong Рік тому

    • @edwardleefilms
      @edwardleefilms  Рік тому +1

      Im about 4-5 months into using this desk now. I can confidently say that the desk is amazing. For the price, i think you get some pretty premium finishes. If you watch my other videos, I also love ergonofis desks. But I would say if you want to try a table top thats not wood, give the Charcoal a shot. The material feels awesome and the assembly is seamless. Only thing is the stability claims might be slightly stretched but my desk is on carpet so that might play a factor. In general it is a quality desk that I would recommend to others!

    Too much Apple crack addiction in one video for me! lol
    I have hated their proprietary, overpriced, video game deficient and reliance on fanboy loyal followers since I can remember. I wouldn't even come close to calling this an ultimate desk setup considering I have one that has at least 2x more features. It is a nice minimalist build though - if that is what you are after, it is a 8.5 out of 10.
    You really should check out some of the fascinating things folks have done with keyboards these days. Swapping out keycaps is easy and cheep and makes typing far more exciting and relaxing to listen to... If you dive deeper, you can change out or select other switches.
    I do appreciate the video even though I can't Apple fanboy with you. It looks sleek and efficient.

    • @edwardleefilms
      @edwardleefilms  Рік тому

      I don't disagree with you on a lot of the pain points of Apple. If you're looking to get most the features and customizability for the price, there are many better options out there.
      For me, I just love how all my Apple products work together in my workflow (iPhone, watch, iPad, MacBook). It's definitely harder to leave a brand when you're so invested into it haha. If I was trying to save money and get the most out of my dollar, I wouldn't be getting Apple products. I'm just a sucker for their design because no matter what anyone says, Apple makes some of the best looking products on the market (both UI and hardware).
      To your keyboard point though, I want to try swapping mine out! Which ones would you recommend? I'm pretty new to the mechanical keyboard space

      @morokai1670 Рік тому

      @@edwardleefilms yea, I decided to buy an ergonofis desk 2 weeks ago. Although I'm really excited about the perceived quality of their products, I'm already pretty let down about their CX. I've already gotten extremely delayed responses to questions, spillover feedback from what feels like an automated response, and sort of high-brow tone from their team. I guess we'll see how it goes, but IMO luxury positioned brands really start and end with great CX.

    How did you setup your light dome? I just purchased the exact light dome and wanna setup it up just like you. Is it hanging from the ceiling? Thanks .

    Great vid mate! How did u manage to get such a natural lightning for Ur video? There is no single flare and it looks dope. I bought a ring light but it generated like a overglow effect if that makes sense

      For this video I was using another light in front of me with some diffusion. The key is to get a bigger softer source. Ring lights are usually bright enough but not diffused enough

    Well done. Thanks for the Philips feedback. Would love to see how you ended up placing the lights behind your monitors.
