I love that we got to see Casey and Severide's bromance develop over the years. In season 1 they were rivals who butted heads but by the end, they were like brothers. Quite the journey and I hope we get to see Casey come back at some point down the road.

He's a real family man and role model! Chicago fire isn't the first show that I got hooked on that he's in! He was great in house and even better in chicago fire he'll be back!

A thousand thanks Jesse for ten fantastic, eventful, extraordinary and wonderful years. Matt was the heart and soul of the 51, the lynchpin. Chicago Fire just isn't the same without him. When a character like that leaves, it changes the show. Words cannot express how much he misses him. I miss the moments together with him and Severide. But mostly I miss the moments with Sylvie. After a long back and forth, the two finally got together and unfortunately only had a short time together and then separated again. The long-distance relationship was just too difficult. I was so happy that Matt came back three times after all. The best part was the last scene in season 11. I hope Sylvie accepts Matt's proposal and they get back together. I keep my fingers crossed for both of them. Brettsey are just made for each other. I hope Matt comes back in season 12, if not back into the main cast then hopefully as a returning character.

Yeah 18 years. Long time to be on the grind and like he said in the interview he's got family he hasn't seen in a couple of years and he wants to go home and I do not blame him. I missed the first few episodes this season and binged this season. I had no idea Jesse was leaving, damn I was crying. Not as hard as when Otis died but again damn. So glad they kept the door open.

even though this ending really hurts I know Jesse will return because of the way they wrote his story and his relationships with the cast (plus his characters on-screen friendship/love for Sylvie). Episode cameos are a definite must, and maybe he'll return next year or the year after that ❤️ he deserves his break and we'll all still be waiting when he returns

They fought like siblings in the first season and to me they are brothers and always will be. I rather him go off and be with Gabby though lol . Wishful thinking on my part . But I am shocked but not surprised some actors need a break
In season 1 they fought a lot because of the death of their friend Darden, who died in the pilot episode and Severide blamed Casey for it. I imagine Casey, Severide and Darden were like the 3 Mouseketeers.

they cannot bring Jesse back he got to want to come back but he said he had his real family to see about what part of that you don't understand cuz it's real family come first

I always watched Chicago Fire mainly for Jesse Spencer. I have been watching him for a long time. Not sure I will continue with Chicago Fire without my favorite character but I do wish the show the best and I definitely wish Jesse Spencer the best!

I missed the first few episodes this season and binged this season. I had no idea Jesse was leaving, damn I was crying. Not as hard as when Otis died but again damn. So glad they kept the door open.

even though this ending really hurts I know Jesse will return because of the way they wrote his story and his relationships with the cast (plus his characters on-screen friendship/love for Sylvie). Episode cameos are a definite must, and maybe he'll return next year or the year after that ❤️ he deserves his break and we'll all still be waiting when he returns

Remember when Severide and Casey used to fight a lot in Season 1 and become best friends seasons after? Dang the 'I love you man' really hits in the feels
They fought like siblings in the first season and to me they are brothers and always will be. I rather him go off and be with Gabby though lol . Wishful thinking on my part . But I am shocked but not surprised some actors need a break
In season 1 they fought a lot because of the death of their friend Darden, who died in the pilot episode and Severide blamed Casey for it. I imagine Casey, Severide and Darden were like the 3 Mouseketeers.
