QD: Been training in the triumph 17 and I absolutely adore it. As a very light runner it felt slightly firm but that bounce, protection and balance was just amazing. Had the freedom 2 iso and enjoyed it for a while but it just doesn't have that magic of the triumph 17. I really wanted to like it as I enjoyed the freedom 1 but not enough cushion or pop for me. On another note, I'd love to see a review on the freedom 3 and triumph 17 as well! Been hearing good stuff about the upper of new freedom 3. The new pwwrun+ tpu based foam is good stuff!
i have triumph 17 and i love it. i went to saucony store to try freedom 3 and midsole feels a little unstable and my little toes are poking the upper a little bit.
I was a multi-year Nike employee who never could find a good fit. I’m loving the Triumph 17 and now the Kinvara 11. These shoes fit me well and just out and out perform. The foams they are using are fantastic, protective but still can turn up the pace a bit. I’m looking forward to their new Endorphin line!
QD: I've been wearing Saucony for 22 years, I've tried Nike, Adidas, NB, Mizuno... I run , roads, trails, mountains, flats... Saucony hits all of the boxes, they don't change their designs very often. They LAST (500-600 miles) and now they have a nice trail shoe option. I wear ISO Rides for most runs.
I'm running with the kinvara on half-marathon. I love these shoes because it's stable (wide area beyond the foot), it has only 4mm offset, light, cushioning and responsive.
I am a new found Saucony fan!!! Nike wasn't cutting it for me anymore so I decided to try the Kinvara 10 for marathon training and for race day and WOW I love it! It has pep, its nice and light, and comfortable and roomy, and low offset which I like. Perfect for all sorts of runs!! I actually use it for my speed days and long runs and no problems! Love them so much I bought 5 on sale! Hehehehe
QD: Triumph 17 for long and easy days. I even ran a marathon in it on New Years. I love it. I am hoping the Kinvara 11 has the same fit. I am SO looking forward to running in it.
Currently switching between Kinvara 9 and 10, use them for everything including the marathon. Especially the 9 has been a favorite of mine. Saucony have really been nailing the «lockdown» with the gusseted tongue for years - I remember having the Type A5 many years ago, and they hugged my feet like no other shoe!
I am loving my Saucony Kinvara 10 that I got on sale! I'm sure these 11's are sweet! I too was thinking about using them for a half marathon. Love that price
I've been using a pair of Kinvara 9s for nearly a year. They have been great... 230 miles logged so far, including the Two Oceans 56 km and several parkruns. I'm planning to use them for my next marathon at the end of February. And yeah, you gave the stack height of the Kinvara 10... it seems the 11 is 5.5mm higher!
I love the Kinvarra line! Thanks for the first impressions. I’ve ran two marathons in Kinvarra 8, and yes that distance is probably stretching it for this shoe. But they feel so good on my feet. Currently training in the Ride ISO 2 and the Kinvarra 9’s.
When it comes to Saucony’s, there hasn’t been a shoe I haven’t loved in the comfort department. From the heel counter and tongue to the toe box and mid sole, they always feel the best. I’m currently switching from back and forth from the Triumph 17 and about to retire the Freedom ISO 2 (which I believe doesn’t get the credit it deserves). Im excited for the new carbon plated Saucony Endorphin Pro to be leased later this year. Comfort is such a huge factor for me, and Saucony is the best in my opinion. Spot on! 🙌
Oh boy! I’m anticipating that Hoka Arahi 4 review! Keep going Seth, all the love from the UK! Ps. Just had physio therapy on my pf. Came back from my winter break way to hard and caused a flare up
I’m currently in the Kinvara 10s. I absolutely love the kinvara line. I’ve been using them since the 5s and I’ve never had any issues with them. These shoes work perfect with my foot and have kept me injury free since my junior year of high school. I 10000% recommend this line of shoes!!
Kinvara is my favorite shoe. Have used it for several 15+ mile long runs but have found other shoes that're easier on the legs. QOD: I'm running in the Freedom 2 (on sale now). Have ran through 5+ Kinvara's and 3 Freedom 2's. Also, my first running shoe ever was the Sauconey Ride. Altra and Sauconey are my favorite daily trainers. Great products. Have a good one Seth!!
QD: Kinvara 10 for long runs and faster days. Most comfortable and best fitting upper of any running shoe I can remember. My only complaint is that it soaks up a lot of water, so it can get heavy if you hit some slush or big puddles. Also have the A8 racing flat, which I've used for 5k and 10k races.
You might want to double check the sole height. Saucony website states: Offset: 4mm (28.5/24.5) Just got my Kinvara 10 yesterday; thickness was a deciding factor.
Am dying to try this next model of kinvara series. Am a big fan.. I actually have a saucony fastwich/ ride and kinvara currently with a beacon and cloudfow too. Thx for review.. am watching from Australia xx
Was wearing the Kinvara 10, now on 11, also like it. Combination of right heel drop and weight makes the Kinvara the best daily shoe i think. The Vaporfly has similar heel drop and weight for 3x the price.
Kinvara all the way! Ran my half and full marathon PBs in them in 2014. Have had almost every version of them and they're up to v11! More a workout shoe for me now though with Vaporflys on the market.
Currently love the Kinvara 10 and planning to get the 11 soon. The 10 is the perfect amount of midsole for me as I cannot stand anything too thick. Nike leave me cold.
I am training in the kinvara 11's I did take them out for 13 miles yesterday on a progressive long run and they did the trick I started at 8:10 pace and finished at 5:50 pace and this shoe allowed me to do the distance and the speed effectively. I have run in the kinvara since the kinvara 5's and I have always loved the kinvaras. I have also ran in the freedom iso and the freedom iso 2 they are very light and great for speed and tempo workouts
I'm currently running in the Goodr version of the Saucony kinvara 10 and LOVE them. Perfect all around shoe to me. I tested out a triumph the other day for longer runs and it's pretty amazing too but definitely looking forward to the kinvara 11
QD: I’ve been running in the truimph 17 and I love them! I have a history of stress fractures in my lower legs so I usually stay off the roads and the Truimph’s have been a game changer for me. They strike perfect balance between bounce, plush, and protective that makes running on the roads more comfortable than its ever been for me. They’re a little on the heavy side, mostly because of the super plush and cushioned upper, but they run very light on foot through the gait cycle. I’m also looking forward to the release of the endorphin series and the Freedom 3 from saucony in the not so distant future 👍🏼
Currently in the Kinvara 9, been road running strictly in the Kinvara's since version 3, and I've run up to 25 miles in my 9's without issue. I would happily run a marathon in the Kinvara's
QD: Train in Freedom ISO & Guide ISO (started with stability, but now only get neutrals). Race in Kinvara 9. I've PR'd everytime I've worn the Kinvara in a race, whether it was 10K, 12K or Half Marathon. I know some people use it as a Marathon shoe, but I used the Freedom ISO for my 1st - which ended up being a mistake. That 15mm forefoot wasn't enough for me personally through 26mi, but my 18-20 mi training runs were fine. Saucony added more stack for the Freedom ISO2 and 3 though.
saucony peregrine trail shoe, great fitting shoe for my very narrow feet. I tried the Kinvara years ago and wasn't impressed, but I've decided this will be the next shoe I try in my local running store.
First time running on Saucony Kinvara 11, but I was in for a surprise - it was light, comfortable, and faster. I was running on zero-drop Altra most of the time, but I felt this Kinvara was more bouncy, though have to get use to 4mm drop.
I read that Saucony uses PWRRun and PWRRun+ midsole now, including in the Kinvara 11, and they are TPU-based midsole or a mix of TPU and EVA. This midsole is replacing the combined Everrun and EVA midsole in Kinvara 10.
PWRRUN on the Kinvara 11 is a EVA/TPU blend (vs K10, which is EVA with TPU topsole). PWRRUN+ on the Freedom 3 and Triumph 17 is full TPU (vs Everrun, which is also full TPU, but PWRRUN+ is 30% lighter and bouncier)
That is a Ferrari, old Testerosa Spyder. You don't see many of the older ones around anymore. I would have gone with red personally LOL I have some Triumph 17s on the way, and this will be my first Saucony. Excited about it. Would love to add the Kinvara for speedwork.
So I found a pair of the original Liberty ISO's for $19.99 a few weeks ago. They were originally $159.00. Wasn't sure if I would even like them but for that price I didn't care. However I do love them. Great for my easier days and do well also when I pick up the pace.
Running Saucony Freedom ISO 1 and 2 really for me the Best shoe for easy runs, tempo runs, long runs, really the Freedom works for everything I also run on Kinvaras but only for short runs.
QD : currently run in the Ride ISO 2 and Triumph 17. I have the Kinvara 10 as my 5k - 10k shoe. The Ride has gotten me through a number of half marathons the past year but this year I will probably go for something lighter like the Freedom 3 or ASICS DS Trainer on race days. Love the PowerRun+ in the Triumph 17. That foam is magic. Feels lighter than it is and is perfect for easy and long runs but can pick up the pace in it a bit too if I want.
Ride Iso 2 for me. A good all round daily trainer and my first saucony shoe. Even thinking of racing a half marathon in them if they hold up well over the next 9 weeks. I'm a fan!
Ashley Broom I notice that the Ride ISO 2 doesn’t get much attention. It was my first Saucony too and I love it ! I have put over 250 miles on them and still going strong !
Ran a half in the Ride ISO2 in October and it was great. I agree it’s underrated. Do like the new power run midsole though over Everrun as it has more responsiveness to me.
I run/train in Kinvara 10's exclusively because of the minimal drop. I had trained in Nike Pegasus for years, but it appears the drop had been increased, and it messed up my biomechanics; at one point, couldn't run a step in August 2018. Ruined my training for 3 marathons. Switched to Kinvara's and voila, hip/thigh pain/weakness vanished. Great shoe.
I'm currently running in Saucony Jazz 20/21 (am I the only one here?) on short distances and Triumph 17 for long and easy runs. I was used to Ride 10 and then Ride ISO. I'll probably adopt the kinvara 11 in the future, I love the collar which seems much lighter than other saucony's models. In my humble opinion Sauconies are the best for comfort and smoothness but they are too hot in summer with high temperatures and humid weather.
QOD currently running in the Kinvara 10 and the Triumph 17. Love them both. Kinvara beats my legs up a bit when I use them during high milage. I hear the foam in the Kinvara 11 is much better than the 10’s.
QD: I just had my first run in the Type A9's. Looking to beat my 5k PR this year, so I needed new racing flats. I definitely have to work on strengthening my calves but it was a pleasant surprise I could last for 10k without any major discomfort. I look forward to seeing how the flats will perform during intervals when it gets warmer... and then to the races ;)
i have the type A8. i regularly run 16k workouts (intervals plus warm up and cool down) with them. grip is great i don't even slow down when passing wet wooden bridges or wet paints on pavement. got my 10k pr wearing them. i wouldn't choose it for racing a half marathon though
Took advice in-store and went with the Guide 10,now wear the ISO 2 as a daily trainer. I have a pair of Fastwich 9 for 5k race's and parkrun pb attempts. Charlotte Arter wore a pair of Fastwich 9 for her parkrun WR. I also have a pair of Liberty ISO.
•••• >In case you can't wait to buy the Saucony Kinvara 11 for after the 50-mile full review, you can pick it up here for that $110 price point: www.runningwarehouse.com/catpage-MRFSAUKIN.html?from=demoor
QOD: currently milking Freedom ISO 2 towards end of life... ride iso (current rotation) and ride iso 2 - recently picked both up on sale... using them mainly for my LSD rotation ... Kinvara 10 (also picked up recently while on sale)- will use it for easy and tempo runs when I’m done with the NB Beacon 1 (current rotation). I am NOT an elite runner - So generally I run in previous season shoe models because I can pick them up at great discounts!!! 🤪 I tend to buy more Saucony over other brands for 2 reasons: Better Fit for my feet & Better Discounts for my wallet. 😜
QD: Triumph 17 for easier days regardless of distance. Probably the most comfortable running shoe I have owned yet. I think the Kinvara 11 will be my next shoe as a replacement for my Rincons when the time comes; I suspect the upper will be better.
Loving my Kinvara 10’s. I feel like I can throw them on for any run they feel so good. My main use this year for them will be up tempo runs, race pace training and my half marathon race shoe.
QD:Sofar I'm running with my Kinvara 9 total.600km. I used them in the tempo/long run Training. My "long run" means 20-25km.:) And I used them in the half-Marathon race(Ironman 70.3) as well.I do love the shoes. Because they are light, cushioning, responsive and affordable(You can get the Kinvara 10 with 78USD in Shanghai! )Considering I used to be a fan of minimalist shoes/zero drop shoes (e.g. Mizuno wave ekiden), I was impressed by their cushioning. If I have to be picky, these shoes will become heavy in the rain.Of course most shoes have this problem.
QD: I train in the Saucony Liberty ISO 1. It’s a mild pronation control shoe. It’s very responsive and very comfortable. I do my speed sessions in the Fastwitch 9 and that is an extremely fast shoe and you feel very low to the ground. I have raced a 5k in them and it’s perfect for that distance. May even go all the way up the half in that shoe in May. I love Saucony and can’t wait for the Endorphin Pro to come out.
I recently bought a pair of Kinvara 10s. They are very light (for me) and I wore them for a 10k race at the weekend. They were great, and I will probably wear them for the HM I'm prepping for in early March. May opt for something a bit more supportive for Marathon in May.
Saucony Liberty ISO is my favorite half to full marathon shoe. It has some light stability but is not as heavy as most stability shoes. It’s also somewhat rare to find a stability shoe with a lower drop. I’m looking forward to the next release of it! I find myself reaching for the few pairs I have over other road shoes.
QOD: Kinvara 10 is my primary shoe in rotation right now, but my favorite shoe from them is currently the Freedom ISO 2. The great thing about the Kinvara is the price and versatility of the shoe; as you said, it's accommodating for both easy running and faster paces. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the new Triumphs for my LSD days!
Saucony Triumph 17:Great for easy days and long runs on the road(not trail) very well cushioned but responsive enough to go up to marathon race pace Xodus ISO 3: favorite easy day shoe especially when my muscles are sore. Very cushioned again but very sturdy(neutral shoe). The 4 mm drop works well with all the cushioning. Freedom ISO 2: Good for easy/recovery days. 4mm drop with soft cushioning feels good up to marathon pace too Ride ISO 2: versatile and good for marathon pace to easy days Peregrines ICE +: best shoe ever on snow/slush/ice and slippery conditions. A bit firm though I don't have any that work for tempo(3:20/km) or faster for me so I'm looking forward to the new kinvara, freedom and endorphin line😁
QD - I am a big fan of the Kinvara since K3, currently training with the K9. Shoes are expensive here in Malaysia so I don't have many shoes to rotate. If you are on a budget and looking for a single shoe that does it all, look no further. I have run half marathon up to ultra (50km) in the Kinvaras.
i have kinvara 9 and use them for tempos and longer intervals. was thinking about wearing the k11 for my marathon this month. i went to saucony store, tried it and is a little narrower than k9 that my little toes poke the upper a little bit.maybe it will stretch after few runs. i don't remember if k9 was also narrow in the beginning
Zealot ISO 3 is my current long run shoe, got it last summer on sale, unfortunately it's discontinued, I'm loving it, very smooth shoe that I've taken up to the marathon distance. I've ran in the Kinvara 5, which I loved, and the 7, which I liked a lot but then I found the Sketchers GoRuns and I moved away from Kinvaras. I also have the Freedom ISO (v1), I prefer it as a walking around shoe but it's an OK running shoe, just didn't know when to use it because it didn't feel like a daily trainer or a snappy tempo shoe, somewhere in between which confused me I guess.
Freedom ISO2 for me.... using it for daily training and I would say my legs better post run compared to when I was running with zoom fly 3. I like the tongue of freedom 2 and overall lightness and hug of the shoe.
QD: Kinvara 8. Kinvaras are the most durable shoes I ever had. 1000 miles and counting. Also, I love lightweight low-drop shoes. And still, I'm not going to buy a new pair any time soon. After a couple of years in Altras, I find Kinvara a bit too narrow. My next shoes are Hoka Clifton5 2E and NB 1080 4E :)
QOD: Kinvara 9 & 10. Ran a full in the 9s and it was fine. Definitely not enough cushion for the later miles. I use them for fast days. Will get the 11s when they go on sale!
QoD: Saucony Ride ISO. It’s a good shoe for up to 8 mile runs. Longer than that, it lacks the cushion on pavement, so I use Adidas with Boost for longer runs. Comfortable, and cheap for a good running shoe. Saucony makes good shoes without charging too much for them.
Triumph 17 and Ride ISO2 currently for daily and long runs in rotation with Nike React Infinity (which I favor over the Triumph 17 - such a strange thing for me to say as I never did Nike much as too narrow). The Kinvara 11 will be here Wednesday (it comes in a wide!) and I’m hoping it’s good for medium efforts like tempo and also hills or speed. Mostly excited for Freedom ISO3 if the upper is not too narrow.
I just tried them. Have them in front of me. Toebox is rather narrow for my (normal) feet. Otherwise (especially 4mm drop) feels solid without haven't run in them.
Hey seth. Just in regards to the thumbnails i find myself not clicking ok it if its a plain background. A running or real life background is much more appealing. !
probably has to do with his biomechanics, seth has a pretty loud footstrike though so not much of a difference, the ginger runner probably usually has a much quieter softer footstrike because he weighs more and probably doesn't run as fast
QD: I have the Saucony Triumph Iso 5 and it works great for easy/recovery runs. It's very comfortable, I would say even more "plush" than the Brooks Glycerin.
I loved the Saucony Nomad line, they were the perfect combi trail/road shoe They evolved into the Koa TR, still a very good shoe but less flexible then it's predecessor Most transition shoes aren't that good on the roas and that is were Saucony nails it. I likes the lug patern of the Nomad beter but the new one is ok too, you jus tend to pick up more dirt between the lugs. Durability is huge, in the Nomad I ran 1500km and then used them as every day shoe after. I had 3 pairs. I'm now at 350km with the Kao's and no signs of wear. Also love that they aren't that open in the upper, that makes it a very good rain shoe for on the road and packed trails. Have been looking to improve from the Koa and am thinking of the La Sporiva Helios...µ Used to run in Kinvara's but am not at the moment, loved them tho. I currently run in Hoka Clifton's, that I bought for 25euro's... Yes, I am Always on the lookout for cheap shoes. Don't run that much on road so thought why not give maximalist shoes a try. I can say, I'm a bigger fan of the Kinvara's and will go back if the Hoka's have worn...
Well, having 5 Saucony Ride, from 10 to ISO 2 you can say that Im a fun of this model but... Looking forward for freedom 3 and the Triumph 17 for that longer days!
For when you do review it, the Arahi is more correctly pronounced like Ara-he not like Ara-high (though I'm sure a lot of people will say it like that). You pretty much nailed it once when you were trying out a few options. It means “lead”.
QD: Saucony Ride ISO has a very good feel for me. It is more of a daily trainer, but I use it for interval and faster work as well. Saucony Peregrine ISO as trail shoe. OK enough trail shoe, but not with the highest markes from my side.
Likely the freedom 3 will serve you well as it has the same midsole as t17
i have triumph 17 and i love it. i went to saucony store to try freedom 3 and midsole feels a little unstable and my little toes are poking the upper a little bit.
I was a multi-year Nike employee who never could find a good fit. I’m loving the Triumph 17 and now the Kinvara 11. These shoes fit me well and just out and out perform. Saucony Ride ISO 2 with 170 miles on it. Very cushy ride and so far has been holding up extremely well!

Saucony Kinvara 10 for my tempos. Ive had the Saucony Kinvara 1, 2 ,3, 4, 5,6. Went to Fastwitch and now back. Love the Liberty ISO as a daily trainer
Currently using the Kinvara 10 for just about any run. Got it cheap and it’s doing a good job!
I went to look up something else and saw this. I had to watch. Now I forget what I was originally looking for. I can’t wait to get my feet in the K11.
You might want to double check the sole height. Saucony website states:
Offset: 4mm (28.5/24.5)
Just got my Kinvara 10 yesterday; thickness was a deciding factor.
Please do a review on the Saucony Freedom 3
I train in the Triumph 17 what a great shoe. Great feel I hope you do a review on this shoe. Run on
Am dying to try this next model of kinvara series. Am a big fan.. I actually have a saucony fastwich/ ride and kinvara currently with a beacon and cloudfow too. Thx for review.. am watching from Australia xx

Triump 17. Nice plush ride for easy increased marathon training miles. Kinvara is my favorite shoe. Love it for the track workouts.
Kinvara 9 is my all time favorite.
Currently in the Kinvara 9, been road running strictly in the Kinvara's since version 3, and I've run up to 25 miles in my 9's without issue. I would happily run a marathon in the Kinvara's
Love the Kinvara for almost everthing.
Would you recommend this over novablast?

saucony peregrine trail shoe, great fitting shoe for my very narrow feet.
I would have gone with red personally LOL
I have some Triumph 17s on the way, and this will be my first Saucony. Excited about it. Would love to add the Kinvara for speedwork.
This Kinvara 11 looks more confy than the 10. te collar is softer and also more structure. Thank's Seth
So I found a pair of the original Liberty ISO's for $19.99 a few weeks ago. They were originally $159.00. Wasn't sure if I would even like them but for that price I didn't care. However I do love them. Great for my easier days and do well also when I pick up the pace.
AMAZING 👟👟
That Hoka style works well with me....on roads/pavement. gotta run....snow and WILD waterfalls are a calling...
Running Saucony Freedom ISO 1 and 2 really for me the Best shoe for easy runs, tempo runs, long runs, really the Freedom works for everything I also run on Kinvaras but only for short runs.
Kinvara has been my standard since model 5. Consistent performance for various racing and training applications.
Excited for the Endorphin lineup!
QOD
currently running in the Kinvara 10 and the Triumph 17.
QD-currently using Saucony Triumph 17 for my long days. Nice cushion, and good bounce.
I tend to buy more Saucony over other brands for 2 reasons: Better Fit for my feet & Better Discounts for my wallet. 😜
QD: Triumph 17 for easier days regardless of distance. Probably the most comfortable running shoe I have owned yet. I think the Kinvara 11 will be my next shoe as a replacement for my Rincons when the time comes; I suspect the upper will be better.
Using Kinvara 10 for racing and Ride iso 2 for long runs, love them both
Loving my Kinvara 10’s.
Can't wait to see more of this shoe seth!👍👍
QD: I train in the Saucony Liberty ISO 1. It’s a mild pronation control shoe. It’s very responsive and very comfortable. I do my speed sessions in the Fastwitch 9 and that is an extremely fast shoe and you feel very low to the ground. I have raced a 5k in them and it’s perfect for that distance. May even go all the way up the half in that shoe in May. I love Saucony and can’t wait for the Endorphin Pro to come out.
Ran half marathon races in both Kinvara 7 and Kinvara 9. Enjoyed both.
Saucony Triumph 17:Great for easy days and long runs on the road(not trail) very well cushioned but responsive enough to go up to marathon race pace
Xodus ISO 3: favorite easy day shoe especially when my muscles are sore. Very cushioned again but very sturdy(neutral shoe). The 4 mm drop works well with all the cushioning.
Freedom ISO 2: Good for easy/recovery days. 4mm drop with soft cushioning feels good up to marathon pace too
Ride ISO 2: versatile and good for marathon pace to easy days
Peregrines ICE +: best shoe ever on snow/slush/ice and slippery conditions. A bit firm though
I don't have any that work for tempo(3:20/km) or faster for me so I'm looking forward to the new kinvara, freedom and endorphin line😁
Freedom ISO 2! Super versatile, comfortable and well-made
I LOL'd at Truelove's "Cool shoes, babe!"
I've always been a New Balance guy (Zante V4, pursuit and Beacon) but I'm very excited to consider some Saucony shoes this year
i do a lot of miles in the kinvara 9, such a great all round shoe. Really looking forward to trying the 11!
i have kinvara 9 and use them for tempos and longer intervals. was thinking about wearing the k11 for my marathon this month. i went to saucony store, tried it and is a little narrower than k9 that my little toes poke the upper a little bit.maybe it will stretch after few runs. i don't remember if k9 was also narrow in the beginning
I'm running in the Zealot Iso 3 now as well. Such a great shoe.
QD: Triumph 17s. I have about 60 miles on them and I love them.
Seth, I want to see you run in the new Salomon road shoes coming in 2020. I think you would enjoy them.
Just got em! So damn excited!!!
Just picked a pair of Reebok Floatride Forever Energy for 50$. I think for that price, they decently compete with the Kinvara 11.
Hey seth. Just in regards to the thumbnails i find myself not clicking ok it if its a plain background. A running or real life background is much more appealing. !
Can you comment on the amount of noise the outsole makes? Ginger Runner says it’s unreal and you don’t even mention it.
Noise from outsole?
I'm guessing its unique to each individual foot strike? I'm striving for that forefoot strike so perhaps others are landing more flat-footed?
I’ve never noticed any noise.
Ginger Runner has a lot of dislikes it seems LOL.
probably has to do with his biomechanics, seth has a pretty loud footstrike though so not much of a difference, the ginger runner probably usually has a much quieter softer footstrike because he weighs more and probably doesn't run as fast
Just got the Ride ISO 2 as an easy day trainer. Price was good, not feeling any snap or pop.
Triumph 17 is the best longrun trainer ive ever run in. Great shoe
i use kinvara 10 and freedom iso 2 . like them both . I have others to but i mostly use HOKA rincon and clifton 6
QD: I have the Saucony Triumph Iso 5 and it works great for easy/recovery runs. It's very comfortable, I would say even more "plush" than the Brooks Glycerin.
Jazz 20. Great for 5k Interval/Threshold/Tempo work
Wow that hoka Carbon plate shoe in the back looks insane
Looking forward to you testing Arahi 4. Think that can be my marathon contender shoe.
Loving the Kinvara 10 for tempo days! May be my marathon racer 🤔
Have been looking to improve from the Koa and am thinking of the La Sporiva Helios...µ
Used to run in Kinvara's but am not at the moment, loved them tho.
QD: Saucony Kinvara 9 and Freedom iso 2. My two favorite shoes! feel great on my feet and both fulfill their purposes in my train!
Do they fit the same, size wise?
The rock in the beginning scared the crap out of me
QD: Saucony Ride ISO has a very good feel for me. It is more of a daily trainer, but I use it for interval and faster work as well.
Saucony Peregrine ISO as trail shoe. OK enough trail shoe, but not with the highest markes from my side.
QD: Triumph 17! Plush, comfy, but responsive enough to pick it up at the end of a run.
