Thanks bruthr! I did not have this model dishwasher, but through this- i was able to figure out my own! I found where** the foul stench was coming from- the nost disgusting trap you've ever seen i swear 😭☠️ im lucky I have a small cleaning business and have dealt with this level of ick before... Apartment life 🤪
Thank YOU for not adding unnecessary extra steps. I watched several other videos, most didn't show the bottom of the dishwasher well enough, and/or they didn't explain how to put it back together in a way that anyone could understand. Appliance Parts Pros had you thinking the stem that sticks out of the filter had to go on at 12:00, that was confusing as there isn't anything for it to snap onto, it's a free moving part. Taking that spray arm support off without the glass trap attached was a Lot of help! You gave a clear visual of how that part locks into place. A lot of people were still stuck after watching the other guys video. 54 seconds into your video, I understood very clearly how to put it back together without it being wobbly. Thank you so much!
The glass trap/spray arm removal/installation shown here is wrong. That's why he had difficulty inserting and removing the glass trap, so they had to cut away on the inserting. Per the manuals, you are supposed to remove the entire spray arm/glass trap in one assembly. The tab on the glass trap is to be rotated 90 degrees clockwise to unlock the spray arm base, then separated from the spray arm base for cleaning after having removed the spray arm and trap from the washer.
This is the best instructions video. I have the same dishwasher 👍
This was so helpful. I fought with mine all day and finally saw your video and got it put back together. Thank you.
Ditto!!

You're welcome, glad it was helpful!
If this part is wavy (ex: the edges are a little bit bent) will it still work
