here 1 character is occupying 8 bits ie, 1 byte but every line we are changing is also consuming one bytes so every character is not consuming 2 bytes, but the character and the next line collectively consuming 2 bytes.
that was a mistake... you are correct....

each character takes only 1 byte and the other two bytes in the video are newline character '

I want result marks= 5
