Hi Daniel , i think for the first year you can stay more than 180 days (maybe up to 6months) outside the UK. Only in the first year. Please check this.
You mention passport and citizenship, but you need to clarify these things better. After you get your Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) and decide you want to become a citizen, you will first have to take the Life in the UK test. If you pass the test, you can then make an application for citizenship. You will be invited to a Citizenship Ceremony, and after the ceremony, you will receive a package with a passport application. Mentioning ILR and then passport is incorrect you need to explain the process on how you get a UK passport because it not straightforward no passport you pass the test and attend the neutralisation ceremony.
I worked at least 36hrs extra weekly for my 1st few years except the fifth year. I now have citizenship and had no issues whatsoever. Not advisable but hey do you
I was going to ask this Is it the extra 20hours outside your sponsored job please . Ive done some extra hours once or twice and I’m scared. I will appreciate your response 🙏🏾
Daniel,if a company has verbally promised sponsorship and you apply to another one,how do you get them to write it on your offer letter as most companies wouldn't write it on the offer letter? Please anyone who knows how to go about this to get the employer to keep their promise can share with us to learn. Thank you
Last year, I was working full time, budgeting groceries, unable to afford date nights, and missing time with my kids. Now I learned how to make money online. Now am a SAHM, homeschooling, and making profits every week.
Everyone needs more than their salary to be financial stable. The best thing to do with your money is to invest it rightly, because money left for saving always end up used with no returns.
You guys should talk about pple whose 1st employer didn’t have shifts to give for 6months but the employee later got another COS. Will ILR be granted in this situation after 5years ?
Hi Daniel....in regards to public funds....if the spouse of a skilled worker is diabetic....and takes free medication....is it classified as public funds?
Am to you to request some assistance. I came to the UK on a student visa in 2022 but quickly changed the visa to apply as a dependant of an EEU member (my uncle). My case and first appeal were denied on the basis of relationship (uncle -nephew) not being as stated by ruling laws of EU settlement and application being made after Brexit deadlines. I reappeared and that was denied also without grounds for reappelling. I would like to consult you on any further steps I can take as I’m desperately trying to get myself sorted. Is this an issue you can help with please?
is it you cant work more than 20 hours over time ??? or is it that you cant work more than 20 hours with a different company/trust ?? im referring to nurses
The Life in the uk test is not to be taken lightly. People please don’t wait until the near date to make an application for ILR 😔 plan ahead and take it as soon as you get here. It’s not getting any easier. The B1 English language test is much more simpler. But not the life in the uk 🇬🇧 test. Also the application fee for ILR £2887 plus documents 📑 to be submitted Biometric fingerprint has to get done. I always encourage people to use a solicitor if they’re not familiar with immigration law the deep root of it. Because you’ll not get a refund if your application has been rejected. 🙅♀️
It's clearly stated u shouldnt do more than 20 hours. Elimination method is there to eliminate applications where people are head strong and not following rules. U can't hide these things.
Depends on your Visa. If you already have indefinite stay the child is automatically British. All you need to do is apply for his passport. If not then the child has the same visa as you have. and whenever you make an application it will be for both you and the child.
@@DanielJesuloba Do you mean, after the 2years postgraduate, one can still get a chance to stay for 10yrs,, please I would be glad you explain it well to me. Thank you
Hi Daniel. I would like to ask if a person did more than 20 hours weekly while on student visa, if that could affect their chances of getting the ILR on the long run? Thank you.
