Hi All, just ran the geneva marathon in 3:30 with the on boom. Was very good. I don t understand why everybody says it s a half marathon shoe even before testing it on marathon …. It helped to keep my running form while I never experienced any pain. I tested the saucony pro 4 during my prep as a possible alternative and I found it much too soft and less fast actually. I definitely made the right choice with the on which on top sizes a bit bigger and that helps preventing blisters while the saucony was squeezing my feet a bit. Hole it helps.
An honest effort 12 miles is my go to two weeks out. So if you felt good you'll knock em bandy in Manchester. Just make sure you don't get a viral condition beforehand 🍻
Same. I've never really got on with any of their shoes in the past, however being honest I haven't tried any of the latest models, Cloudsurfer 7 etc...

I’ve stopped wearing my garmin … my god the performance is sooooo much better… I use the strava app on my phone and it’s out of sight out of mind… The garmin is such a distraction

Find these true to size and for me the slightly firmer feel seems to work better for me at shorter distances.
@@EDDBUD agree on the firmer feel but it does not mean it can’t cushion you well on long distances which it does
Good Luck Edd!!! You are going to crush it!
Thanks for the good vibes
Thanks, Edd.
Very welcome
See you there Edd.
Hey Edd! I was recently 5 min quicker over the Marathon than my Garmin race prediction…YOU DON’T KNOW ME WATCH (as Goggins might say)
5 mins?! My word!
@@EDDBUD yeah, GARMIN 02-56-33 Vs ME 02-51-05. Go for it Edd, you can beat your Garmin too…it feels even better than beating your Sat Nav.
I look at my Garmins race predicter and just assume it has some sort of learning disability.
@@fergusdenoon1255 It’s pretty accurate for me right now
I just ran loch ness and beat my gamin predictor by a whole 20 seconds.. 😢

I’ll be looking out for you, Edd, around the 11 mile mark in Chorlton-cum-Hardy
Cloudmonster 2? Is that coming soon?
I’m sure they will do a sequelp.

Feeling good this morning. Though the wife and lad have a cold. It’s ok though, I can just stay in a hotel near the airport for a few days.
@@EDDBUD What's the one named after the French artist?... I remember, Schubert 🏨
For the love of God Ed watch for potholes
🤣👍🏼
Too tired to be fast…. Evening sir
🥈 always appreciated that you tune in
Not for me Ons, more like a lifestyle brand. Nice clothing line tho

Pricy
To be fair, these shoes have had some good results in triathlon.
