Fun fact. During pandemic, he started the trend online fan meeting, he was even starred on the news. Also the self hashflag on twitter, it started on him too. :) SUHO THE TRENDSETTER!
Ah in that clip Suho was telling exo-ls not to worry about the rankings and such, and it hurt him to see how sad we are if we don't get the rank we hoped for. He just wanted to let them know he loves the fans and will always be there for them and those things aren't as important as letting his fans know he loves them :)

He doesn't want them to feel left out or less of a fan just because they cannot afford to buy merch. That's how thoughtful they are of Exo-ls

I can't stress enough how precious self portrait era was for me. It was the era that made him my bias. After becoming an exol this was the best era that I experienced.
I was very worried because his album released just when the pandemic hit but he did phenomenal. He planned so many schedules. He was there with us everyday. My first album that I ever bought is self portrait.

Self potrait is the first album that released and go thru early pandemic at that time, so there are lots of new things that he had to go through and many groups follow the same procedure of pandemic thingy after him, he is the first idol that did fansign video call for pandemic fanmeeting and been on news for that, he said fans always worried abt ranks when he and exo actually dont want fans to worry abt them, he just wanted to release those albums as gifts and gratitude sign towards fans, but fans are really eager abt the ranks and wins, do votings, do fundraising to puts ads on subways, buildings and so on and and IF it dont work out, fans will say sorry to exo saying 'we didnt do enough we are sorry' that is why suho felt hurtful seeing them, he just want them to treasure his gift and dont worry much abt those ranks and so on.

Nothing can ever express the love I feel for this man. He's been through the toughest time when he lost 3 members. Cried when EXO-L's were falling apart during MNET, I would never imagine the pain he felt when K 'L' s want Chen to leave. Junmyeon just received his third award for Let’s Love and they told him in direct (and on inkigayo, a very difficult one), so he was very emotional and asked fans to not worry too much about the charts because he doesn’t care about them, he just wants us to enjoy the music.
EXO has a history of being sabotaged and robbed by important awards shows and after a particular downfall in 2017, exo decided to not partecipate more at awards show because the fans were suffering of always putting so much effort in voting and streaming for them not getting their right awards even if there are clear evidence them winning.
So that’s why he’s asking to fans to not worry about charts and awards, he just wants us to enjoy the music.

I remember being in this fan meet and going through such a rollercoaster of emotions. As a huge Suho biased fan, I couldn't help but laugh and cry with him. O2asis happened at the end of the promotions. The last part where he was crying happened after fans started commenting that he got his third music show win. I believe that started it all because he saw how much the fans wanted to give it to him.

He knew fans were working very hard to have his album top the music charts... He just wanted them to know that he saw their efforts and is thankful for them...
