Why Is Nobody Hiking Here? | Gunung Berembun, Cameron Highlands 🇲🇾

- Gunung Berembun is a mountain 1,840 meters tall located in Cameron Highland, Pahang, Malaysia. There are a few routes to hike up Gunung Berembun. In this video, we started to hike via Sungai Pauh Campsite (Pejabat Hutan) trails to Jungle Walk 6 - Jungle Walk 3 - Peak - and leaving through Jungle Walk 7.
Gunung Berembun is relatively easy hike compare to other mountains nearby such as Gunung Brinchang, Gunung Irau, and Yong Belar. The great part about Gunung Berembun is the trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit most of the time. This video was shot in 27th October 2022 in monsoon season meaning that most of the mountain is closed for hiking.
In the beginning of the journey we already encountered a growl noise, not sure whether it is a tiger, panther or something else. We decided to wait and finally continuing the journey after 30 minutes. The audio from GoPro wasn't that good but here how it sound in real life, • Harimau Kumbang di zon... . Also, we spotted black viper snake, birds, spider, feline paw prints and more.

Thank youu for watching. Mostly every mountain in Cameron Highland need guide but Berembun is one of the trail that easy to access and visited by tourist. It is still recommended to take guide as the trails have lots of junction. Previously I went here with forestry guide thats why I feel confident to go without them 😃. You’ve been here recently? i've hike here a few time, before. would love to go there again. but, eversince the government made it compulsory to hire a tour guide to hike there, jadi malas dah nak naik..... hike coral hill ajerler, senang tak yah guide....
