I'm canadian but what if it was American owned boat with American citizens on it? It's there's, same if canadian owned boat sank in usa it's our boat. What if you lost your wallet in usa , who's wallet is it?
If it's in Canadian waters, it's Canadian gold. It's an historic wreck - it's not like the shipping company is trying to cover loses. The salvage crew deserves a portion for their work, but the rest belongs to British Columbia. We own the seabed the ship is resting on.
@@suddenlysolo2170 no you don’t own it… Trust me, the guy who owns Rockfish knows his stuff. well somewhere yeah becouse we can go than. /im sure wont go down to that..../ and just searching for the lost nuke in missisipi river now becouse not so much water in it
depends on where exactly the wreck is, it may be in international waters off the coast-I can't tell if they gave the exact location but that would be a big factor.

Wouldn't be surprised if Justin apologizes for Canada wrecking the ship and wants to give $150 million to help them rebuild a replica, plus offers to pay all the interest that the gold could have earned in value, and offers to pay each of the 300+ families a couple million apiece, just so long as they don't speak ill of Canada, and it being a mean place to ships
I don't think any American company should have the rights to the ship wreck off the Canadian coast. If they want salvage it then a big percentage should go to our Canadian government.
Lol There's wrecks all over the world...so according to you whatever country is closest to the wreck should get money for doing nothing but being is close proximity. That's absurd
My great-great-grandfather, his wife and children parished on this ship.
Go ! Get gold
@@ghostdiaries369bro😭😭
Who gets the gold what a joke! The guy who spent 30 years looking for the ship duhhh! Ever stupid society we live in
Spot on!
It’s called history and research
The water where the ship is sunk is Canadian waters? The gold should belong to Canada

$150 million??? That's nothing these days due to inflation. JT hands out minimum $500 million at a time
How on earth is that the SS Pacific?
Not the same one that vanished in 1856. But from the same time period.
