Dark Classical Academia Volume 4 You're Studying at an Oxford Library at Night 📜 is out now! ua-cam.com/video/gvvy2zjTb0k/v-deo.htmlsi=7CEvna1qu8pv2CUn
I am so glad I found your page. I am studying for a licensing exam, and have been struggling for motivation and focus. Looking forward to listening to more of your playlists, and hearing your tips regarding studying. Thank you for creating this content. It is precisely what I needed.
A wonderfully balanced music and white noises, it's awesome to hear rain that does not sound like someone's frying ice cubes. AND IT'S 7 HOURS! Thank you!
I've been rewatching this video a lot, but even though I've read this comment many times the "frying ice cubes" makes me laugh to read it every time I click back on this video
I read about 3/4 of a novella to this, took an hour long nap then finished the rest of the book all with this still on in the background. I'll say waking up to this music and picking up a book where you left off is some of the greatest immersion I've ever experienced
hey please never ever take this down. I sleep to it every night and leave it on all day, it is the background soundtrack to my life, I must have replayed this 50 times since discovering it. So peaceful, perfect for reading and keeping the house vibes calm.
Please consider downloading and keeping a copy of it on your computer somewhere while still supporting the chanel. Not long before I also have a music video like this which I put on everyday but one random day I just can’t find it anywhere anymore. Eventhough I managed to downloaded some of the songs in the playlist, having the video taken down was still such a huge loss.
I went to the description to look at the composer because I loved the music. I assumed it was a famous piece from the 18th century I'd never heard before, but YOU WROTE IT?!?! That's incredible!
I have discovered that classical music can be played in the background when studying literally any subject and it never diverts my attention like pop songs. its amazing
I battle lupus and there are times I struggle to get moving. Music is truly my therapy. This playlist takes me away to lands far away from pain and sadness. Thank you💜
I suffer from fibromyalgia caused by brain damage in my pain center, as I am a stroke survivor. This mix of light piano and rain is going on my FOREVER LIST. I don't function well or sleep at all unless I have pink noise like this to help me detach! God bless! 💚🍀
Over the past three years, I've consistently played this playlist, marking the beginning of a lovely autumn season. It sets the ambiance for activities like cleaning, cooking, baking, with candles adding warmth, and the delightful scents of pine cones and cinnamon. There's also the delight of my kids playing football and precious family moments, it’s like stepping into heaven each time.
I'm convinced 4am is the time of day most people are asleep. Most people go to bed before 4 and wake up after 4. It's the most calming and quiet hour of the night.
I love 4am. Waking up before 5 is pretty awesome. I used to do 330 and go to the gym. That gets hard after a year. Its like a strict time diet. 4am is nice.
FINALLY I have one of those videos people say "omg this video helped me write so much last night" that I can _also_ say that about. I have no idea what magic you worked with this one, but there's not a single piece that brings me out of the zone. I feel more focused, more driven, more patient, and ready to keep writing. Thanks!
I used to love walking home from the bars in college either after a light night of partying or after getting off work. It would be 3 AM and only a couple souls even moving around in town. You had the whole place to yourself and it just seemed so different. I miss that freeing feeling a lot these days.
I’ve taken such a long break from reading.. so when I checked and saw I’ve read for 42 minutes. It made me feel happy. Now, that might not seem long but Ever since I got more advanced tech I’ve been obsessed with video games like Roblox or just texting in general. Never ever continued my love for reading. But now that I have free time.. I just feel like I’ve missed a lot in the reading world. I love books so much.
Recently on the mend from a potential life threating condition, my eyes, ears and overall sense of the world have changed and this is my go too every night before sleep. Wanna thank you for being part of my recovery and re- awakening!
To whoever is reading this, I hope you heal from the things you don’t speak about. I hope you find peace within your day. If all you did was get out of bed today, have a glass of water, or even just did whatever you could, just know that’s the best you could do at that moment and that’s okay. Everyone sleep well and I hope the waves of relaxation wash over you. Sending love and healing and light to all of you.
This Dark Academia Playlist is top-tier from the various ones I have listened to. It is more subtle, but still noticeably catered to the Dark Academia genre with a great balance of soft and gentle rain. Love, love, love it! 😁
I left myself behind tonight, took a walk trough the dark alleys of my mind. Watching you sleep so soundly, smiling, breathing calmly. @@azrani2023 Thank you! It's quite interesting and I'm curious to see who Catherine is and why Mr. Heathcliff and the other residents of Wuthering Heights are so cold and hostile. I want to spend some time with the hubby but it’s his gaming with friends day. So I am listening to this playlist watching him play and reading my book and I feel like I am in a wholesome little movie. Love when you can just be with your best friend in a room but you’re both doing what you love.
Aside from its help to improve focus, the best thing about a long playlist like this is it help to gauge how much of my time is spent actually being focused. Because I know if I'm not focusing this playlist is paused.
Who would've thought I'd turn into a reader! Had some free time and realized I haven't read a book in a while. Watched a bunch of UA-cam book recs but felt overwhelmed. Lucky for me, I found "7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens". Not only was it my first non-fiction book, but it was also filled with interesting stories and valuable lessons. I was so into it that I read 4 hours a day and finished it in just 3 days. It changed the way I think, helped me prioritize, and improved my communication skills. I was blown away by the impact a book can have on your life. Currently reading "How to Win Friends and Influence People" to understand people better. Bottom line: just pick up a book that interests you, no need to finish it. Focus on understanding and applying what you read.
Thank you. Currently writing a few papers on divinity. This helped me so much with concentrations and inspiration. For anyone out there needing to hear this; you are loved, you are cared for, and you belong. Take Care and God Bless
Wonderful pacing and by far the best ambient track I have found. The music is no too simplistic but also does not demand overt attention. It’s very soothing and cozy too. Well done!
Absolutely beautiful; I struggle to listen to audiobooks/podcasts without some music or white noise in the background, and this is precisely what I've been searching for!
Don't forget the addition of a cheese hostess from the mall in the story. An essential addition to any good novel. Talking dogs were good back in Gogol's time, but that was over 100 years ago. Modern novels cry out for a cheese hostess to make a cameo.
@StudyMD, thank you for your channel. You have helped me get through my boards, through my charting at work and now currently to my school assignments. I thank you again 🙏for providing us your peaceful music ✨
Thank you for this video and the lovely music you've composed. I honestly love this video so much, it calms me on my worst days. The rain is perfect, all the compositions are just the most amazing pieces. I dont know how to describe it but seriously thank you for this and I hope you see how many people listen to this often and find peace.
This is beautiful, I've got issues focusing but I was able to lock in and write my whole paper thanks to this video. Felt like I popped a Ritalin lmao. Thank you!!
I literally read 3/4 of my book to this before I realized it was 5 am and I went to go to sleep but it helped me focus on my book really well thank you ❤

No way! I've been playing your Original Dark Academia upload along with a different video of rain noise for a few weeks now. This is EXACTLY what I wanted. Thanks for the mind read ;-]
While rooted in tradition, classical music is not static. Contemporary composers continue to expand the genre by incorporating modern elements and exploring new concepts, thus keeping the genre vibrant and relevant.
*Sad, sentimental music serves as a poignant reminder of the beauty found in moments of vulnerability, where the rawness of emotion is embraced and celebrated*
I’m reading(doing late precalc homework) in an 18th century library(a modern local library branch at a park) and it’s raining outside(its hot and sunny)

The rain in this video sounds identical to the sound of rain hitting the sunroof in my room, combined with the music it makes for a great video to play while studying
Adding to the stories under this post; I'm writing a paper for a class about White Collar Crime: the case is United States v. Rishi Shah et al. I'm not a Sociology major, let alone a Criminal Justice major, so I'm really out of my depth; here's hoping I can figure this out! Thank you for these wonderful tunes to help calm me down and focus. ... By the way, if you too are writing an essay, don't be like me. GET BACK TO WORK! ❤ YOU GOT THIS!
Reading Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness. All the other playlists felt too lighthearted to read it to, but this playlist has a perfect neutral reading atmosphere. I’m quite certain I’ll be coming back in the future for many other books throughout my classes.
him.❤️ I dont know how to quite describe him to people and i like that..he’s just so ethereal and calm and mysterious but..in a good way…hes so gentle, kind, caring , and Loving..i love how he always smells of cigarettes and cologne..and how his looks are like a breath of fresh air on a foggy night..his eyes remind me of caramel…Mostly when they shine in any type of light and start to appear more..they remind me of stars that appear in the night sky..no matter how lost at sea i feel i know when i look into his eyes and see all the stars all i need to do is follow them for they will take me home and to a place of shelter, comfort and safety..i love how hardworking he is and how smart he is and how creative he is he reminds me of a vincent van gogh painting..and i love him dearly🤍🕊️
Hey Jimmy, I hope you'll read this and answer me :(. First I wanna say thanks a lot for your efforts, and also I desperately need that old " 3 hour Winter " Study with me video that you had. It truly got me through some tough times and I've developed such a deep connection to it that I was devastated when I couldn't find it today. I even learned the songs by heart, it used to make me feel so safe and warm.. and it reminds me of those days as it was the only thing that got me through my stressful job and studies to get my BA. I understand it was taken down, but if you still have it by any chance would you be so kind as to share it with me?🥺💜 via google drive or some other medium..? Or if you can simply send me the list of songs in that video by order I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much for your amazing videos, you're the best💜
View my UA-cam profile, and check the playlist I have. There is a studymd 3 hour winter video, not sure if it is the exact one you are looking for. Hope this helps.
For 3 books in a row, this has been the vid I turn on. It was 12 something at night and my kitty curled up with her head hanging over my phone, content as could be. Ads are startling, but I get it. They aren't every other minute thankfully.
The piece that begins at 55:17... I feel like I've heard this before. I feel like I've played it before, but it's different and makes me smile. Beautiful.
If you've found yourself here.. everything will be alright. It may not seem like it in the moment, but you'll figure out what you need to and make everything work out. Take a break from worrying about what you can't control. Take the time to stop and smell the roses for a little while you're here. See the progress you've made, and look at your accomplishments. Feel proud of yourself. Carry on Adventurer. You'll do great things in this life. 😁

Wow ! The sound just immediately made me fall in the mood of reading.❤
Reading Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness. All the other playlists felt too lighthearted to read it to, but this playlist has a perfect neutral reading atmosphere. I’m quite certain I’ll be coming back in the future for many other books throughout my classes.
It commemorates the ancient vibes of metaphysical world.
Best playlist while reading books.
love best playlist
I played a game for four hours with this in the background, best experience, this is in all of my playlists now lol.
him.❤️
I dont know how to quite describe him to people and i like that..he’s just so ethereal and calm and mysterious but..in a good way…hes so gentle, kind, caring , and Loving..i love how he always smells of cigarettes and cologne..and how his looks are like a breath of fresh air on a foggy night..his eyes remind me of caramel…Mostly when they shine in any type of light and start to appear more..they remind me of stars that appear in the night sky..no matter how lost at sea i feel i know when i look into his eyes and see all the stars all i need to do is follow them for they will take me home and to a place of shelter, comfort and safety..i love how hardworking he is and how smart he is and how creative he is he reminds me of a vincent van gogh painting..and i love him dearly🤍🕊️
This is the best dark academia playlist I’ve listened to so far :)
I'm ninety minutes into this and I already finished two books which I've been reading for months and 90 pages into the next one
For 3 books in a row, this has been the vid I turn on. It was 12 something at night and my kitty curled up with her head hanging over my phone, content as could be. Ads are startling, but I get it. They aren't every other minute thankfully.
"Born too late to explore earth, born too early to explore space."
Born just in time for a world war 😅
@@something29 yeah that's true🤣
Too lazy to work, too bold to rock & roll
To all who are here, may the gentle rhythm of meditation restore balance and tranquility to your life.
The best Dark Academia video in UA-cam!
My exams are approaching and I need lists like this, love you
The piece that begins at 55:17... I feel like I've heard this before. I feel like I've played it before, but it's different and makes me smile. Beautiful.
Yes. I wish I could know the name of that piece. It is fantastic
Same. would love to have the sheets for it. I think it's improv based on Moonlight Sonata
It's pretty. Sounds more like a fire crackling than rain.
One of my dreams is to see one of these magnificent libraries with my own eyes!
