I just realized how Ray and Boston were the opposite of each other. Ray has always been told, especially by Mew and Sand, to love himself more while on the other hand, Boston was always called out for only knowing how to love himself. Ray resorts to self destruction but does everything to protect the important people in his life while Boston can ruin anyone if it means getting and fulfilling his selfish desires. Also, when something goes wrong, Ray put the blame on himself but Boston just goes around blaming others. I found their contrasting personalities very interesting, they're like the representation of a person with no self love and too much self love.
Quite the opposite actually. Ray and Ton are 2 side of the same problem: feeling of unworthiness. Ray internalises his issues while Ton externalises them. Y'know what they say about bullies: they're actually insecure and bullying people they believe is "inferior" according to whatever standards they created in their head, to give themselves a false sense of worthiness. Ton is just like that. Inside, he's miserable and is putting up a front of arrogance to trick himself and others into believing he's all that but he can't fathom seeing others actually genuinely happy because he can't achieve that himself.

Mark's crying scene was so well done. I didn't know he could act like that. I'm so glad Jojo gave him the chance with Only Friends. I hate seeing Nick sad but I so so love Mark's acting.
Mark has mainly played comedic roles before OF and the sidekick in his series prior. This shows his dramatic side, and his versatility, really amazed me with his vulnerability and the crying scene was beautiful. My heart broke with him… 🥺💔

I pride myself on spotting talent. I noticed Mark all the way back in I Promised You the Moon. His scenes were probably less than five minutes total in that series, but I just noticed something about him. The way he interacted with Bilikin as Teh’s college roommate. I just picked up on something and thought…they should give him more roles. So I was glad to see him in Bad Buddy. I mean, his role in BB was a little bit more substantial than IPYTM, but…baby steps. Haha. Then 2022-2023 was his time to shine. My School President, Moonlight Chicken, The Warp Effect, Only Friends, Last Twilight. 👍🏾👍🏾
Mew in his revenge era is incredible! He really shut Top down so hard, I mean burning his drawing in front of him is wild. Their dynamic is so crazy to me, I can't wait to see where this goes.

One thing I've noticed about Book is that, he does better acting with angst scenes instead of romantic ones. He portrays his feelings very well making the viewers fully satisfied with it. I am liking the new image of him.

ONLY FRIENDS literally went from “who gives a fuck about love” to “I would kill for love” real quick like, everything that’s happening in the series is because of LOVE. I love how perfectly they are delivering the message, there is no over exaggerations, unwanted NC scenes, clichè plotholes just perfection. This series is definitely one for the history books

This 17:32 good moments burning scene is mesmerizing, because "Fire" is what keeps Top from sleeping at nights, that's his fear, he dreads fire and to see what he made for someone to be burnt shows the worst fear. Also, the way "Losing someone he loves or loved" and the fire burning his life (similar to his room and his parents leaving him alone) is such a good comparison. Kudos to the writer for this scene 👏👏👏 Also, it shows how hurt and enraged Mew is to bring Top face to face with the worst experience in his entire life.

I appreciate the fact that Sand apologized for using Ray and manipulating him into telling Mew. Ray saying it is fine, people like Top and Ton will get away with things they have done if nobody calls them out so he is thankful and Sand shouldn't feel guilty or apologize. I'm surprised we are just now seeing Ray dad. So dad really cares more about the car damage rather than his own son being hurt. Ray not only feels guilty over his mom death but he's fighting for the love and attention of his dad

He never saw himself as someone to be cared of but deep inside he wants to be love. Sand came to his life at the right time when he is uncontrollably losing his will and interest to everything.
NeoMark once again blowing my mind with their acting!! They are truly making this show theirs…Mark with his desperation, his heartache and pain when Boston said he never loved him. And when he confesses his true feelings of love, you can truly sense his longing for forgiveness and his need for Boston to stay with him. It was heartbreaking and so well acted. I cried when I watched that scene. Neo as well, his facial expressions are so subtle but powerful, he drives the feelings across so well. They make such a great team! I really need NeoMark to be leads in 2024 in their own BL series, cause they are in a league of their own. 💯🔥 I am in awe
I really love ForceBook chemistry! They can give us romantic moments, scary moments, sadness moments and I’ll never have enough of them! Their acting is so good, I feel every emotion or feeling that they put on Mew and Top.

Why isn’t anyone talking about Force-Book confrontation 15:00 ? The entire sequence, from the scene where Mew was looking at the drawings with eyes that betrayed the fact that he’s been crying, when Top appears, when he’s trying to apologize to Mew and Mew asks “did you guys plan this?” you can see Top gulping down the tears because he knows that he’s not entitled to any… throughout the sequence, both are trying to hold their emotions from spilling over the dam, and you can see each thought/emotion they must’ve had (but not vocalized) reflected through the actors eyes. I played this sequence over and over till I cried because of how bad I felt for both the characters. Book, what a performance my guy. What a performance. I don’t see enough people appreciating Book’s subtle expressions - his acting is mature, well thought out and holistic. He doesn’t overdo it. Neither does he underplay. Force, as always, an effortlessly convincing performance. You guys are talented and authentic actors. ❤
Another call out for the superb micro expressions, at 18:35, when Top is about to leave, he turns around and opens his mouth, probably to say something that reiterates his intention to win Mew back - but one glance at Mew, who’s already hurt, stupefied and overwhelmed by the situation, Top immediately closes his mouth and swallows his words (you can see him gulp), perhaps to avoid saying anything else that would (inevitably) hurt Mew. I wanna believe that Top had no intention to hurt Mew, and when he did trifle with Boston, he did so because he wanted to believe that Mew - who he didn’t know well enough - wasn’t “serious” about the whole relationship thing either. He wanted to believe that he’s doing something that Mew was also capable of doing (casually sleeping with a friend), and the pics Boston shows him helps him keep his beliefs intact. Because why should he even consider a serious relationship with someone who trifles around just like he does? That’s what he wanted to believe. Unfortunately, by the time he found out that Mew truly is an honest person, he had already messed up. Maybe, just maybe, it would’ve been better if he had come clean to Mew immediately after - rather than to get horribly busted by someone who he had wronged in the past. I want Top to work things out and change for the better. 🥺
La gente no aprecia lo suficiente el personaje de Mew cuando esta arrasando y el desarrollo que ha tenido es perfecto. No es que " siempre fingio ser un santo " él siempre directo , claro y honesto . Se preocupaba y daba su confianza porque así lo quería y siempre le dio oportunidades a la gente, pero Top lo destruyó al igual que Boston y toda su confianza en sí mismo disminuyo ( era un personaje con autoestima y confíanza) que eso suele pasar cuando alguien que querías y confiabas te traiciona . Esa ira y dolor se pueden convertir en sed de venganza y esa sed te hace que lo "buen chico" de mew se vaya , porque oo entiendo totalmente es una mierda siempre ser buena persona y ser considerada y que el mundo te pague con lo peor devuelta. Mew esta roto y por eso actua de esa manera y seguirá cambiando . Le aplaudo a Book por las escenas 10/10 y al guionista por manejar también el enfrentamiento a Top ( también felicito a force por haberlo dado todo con top en esa escena )

Also, dunno what’s wrong with me. Maybe because it’s too early from where I live but I had tears in my eyes during TopMew’s scene 😢 why is it so painful despite knowing what Top did? Totally an example of loving someone at the wrong time..

NeoMark once again blowing my mind with their acting!! They are truly making this show theirs…Mark with his desperation, his heartache and pain when Boston said he never loved him. And when he confesses his true feelings of love, you can truly sense his longing for forgiveness and his need for Boston to stay with him. It was heartbreaking and so well acted. I cried when I watched that scene. Neo as well, his facial expressions are so subtle but powerful, he drives the feelings across so well. They make such a great team! I really need NeoMark to be leads in 2024 in their own BL series, cause they are in a league of their own. 💯🔥 I am in awe

Why isn’t anyone talking about Force-Book confrontation 15:00 ? The entire sequence, from the scene where Mew was looking at the drawings with eyes that betrayed the fact that he’s been crying, when Top appears, when he’s trying to apologize to Mew and Mew asks “did you guys plan this?” you can see Top gulping down the tears because he knows that he’s not entitled to any… throughout the sequence, both are trying to hold their emotions from spilling over the dam, and you can see each thought/emotion they must’ve had (but not vocalized) reflected through the actors eyes. I played this sequence over and over till I cried because of how bad I felt for both the characters.
Book, what a performance my guy. What a performance. I don’t see enough people appreciating Book’s subtle expressions - his acting is mature, well thought out and holistic. He doesn’t overdo it. Neither does he underplay. Force, as always, an effortlessly convincing performance.
You guys are talented and authentic actors. ❤
Another call out for the superb micro expressions, at 18:35, when Top is about to leave, he turns around and opens his mouth, probably to say something that reiterates his intention to win Mew back - but one glance at Mew, who’s already hurt, stupefied and overwhelmed by the situation, Top immediately closes his mouth and swallows his words (you can see him gulp), perhaps to avoid saying anything else that would (inevitably) hurt Mew. I wanna believe that Top had no intention to hurt Mew, and when he did trifle with Boston, he did so because he wanted to believe that Mew - who he didn’t know well enough - wasn’t “serious” about the whole relationship thing either. He wanted to believe that he’s doing something that Mew was also capable of doing (casually sleeping with a friend), and the pics Boston shows him helps him keep his beliefs intact. Because why should he even consider a serious relationship with someone who trifles around just like he does? That’s what he wanted to believe. Unfortunately, by the time he found out that Mew truly is an honest person, he had already messed up. Maybe, just maybe, it would’ve been better if he had come clean to Mew immediately after - rather than to get horribly busted by someone who he had wronged in the past.
I want Top to work things out and change for the better. 🥺

La gente no aprecia lo suficiente el personaje de Mew cuando esta arrasando y el desarrollo que ha tenido es perfecto. No es que " siempre fingio ser un santo " él siempre directo , claro y honesto . Se preocupaba y daba su confianza porque así lo quería y siempre le dio oportunidades a la gente, pero Top lo destruyó al igual que Boston y toda su confianza en sí mismo disminuyo ( era un personaje con autoestima y confíanza) que eso suele pasar cuando alguien que querías y confiabas te traiciona . Esa ira y dolor se pueden convertir en sed de venganza y esa sed te hace que lo "buen chico" de mew se vaya , porque oo entiendo totalmente es una mierda siempre ser buena persona y ser considerada y que el mundo te pague con lo peor devuelta. Mew esta roto y por eso actua de esa manera y seguirá cambiando .
Le aplaudo a Book por las escenas 10/10 y al guionista por manejar también el enfrentamiento a Top ( también felicito a force por haberlo dado todo con top en esa escena )
Me encanta que Boston sea tan malo, despiadado y sin corazón, siento que algo muy fuerte le ha sucedido en el pasado para que sea así, me intriga su pasado.Neo es muy buen actor al igual que Marck, me encanto su escena.

To me this is the best scene so far of Mew and Top.. how Book portrayed his heartbreak and mistrust towards top by burning the drawing was beautifully sad, and the background music paired with that scene has me all choked up... I definitely agree with what someone else in this comment section said, Book does better acting for angst scenes. That was a very powerful performance from him!
