When I was young I was taught by Nuns who I loved.I wanted to be one but all Catholic girls do.Our Church was about 20 steps away from school.I went into church 3 times a day I went to Benediction every Tuesday or Thursday I would have considered myself as a good Catholic.I found the Church a wonderful and peaceful place to be.Then we moved house and the church seemed a million miles away so I stopped going every day. I did go intermittently until I was in my teens and met my husband who is not a Catholic but a Protestant.
I am 74 and my husband who is 75 remain married even though our families said it wouldn’t work at 16 and 17 !”
Our children are Catholic and my Grandchildren are too..
I have Terminal Cancer and I would like you all to remember me in your prayers.
I believe God is watching over me I am staying positive.I’m sure God only gives us enough to carry.
I am praying for you Donna. That you have the Strength and Peace given to us by Jesus Christ, Our most Merciful Savior. I pray The Divine Mercy of Jesus, through the intercession of St. Faustina, (the Apostle and Secretary of the unfathomable Mercy of Jesus), give you the Peace and Strength that ONLY Jesus can give.
Praying for you Donna.
Thank you .I don’t really like people praying for me when I know there are others especially children whose need is greater than mine.
I was told that I had terminal cancer but my latest scan was negative. My church sent me to Lourdes and to meet the Pope in Rome
Prayers to you and family. 🙏🙏🙏
Please pray for people addicted to drugs and for those who are mentally ill 🙏🙏🙏
And pray for gamblers.
20 yrs ago I was liveing in a hollowed out tree in observatory Hill in Sydney next to the harbour Bridge I was a heroine addict , and had a very personal contact with the holy spirit , I was christened into the church of England but 15 yrs ago I became , baptised int the holy catholic Church and have never looked back I years ago shunned responsible in my life today I am a minister of the word , and a accolite with the holy catholic Church, from a addict to disciple of christ my story goes much deeper but in a nutshell , I knocked and he answered amen .

Well done Phillip! Greetings from Wales. IESU BENDIGEDIG! (Wonderful Jesus.)
Well done Philip. May God bless you. You are an inspiration to all addicts. It's almost impossible to turn one's life around without the help of Jesus.
Please pray for Cuba. Cubans need all the prayers of the Catholic Church Family.🙏🏻
Cuba and Haiti
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Yes, I've been praying for them 🙏🏽
Cuba and Haiti most of their people put their faith and practice Santaria. Prayers for those countries so they can turn their faith back to God.
Definitely!
A 104 year old woman in Lima Peru, my ex grandmother in law, sent me a plastic rosary that was a sacrafice for her to do based on her income. I cherish it and continue to use it as I go to sleep. Don't knock the plastic rosary...kinda like the widow's mite in this case. Cheers from H-Town Texas.
I have a plastic rosary from Medjugorje that I take into the MRI machine (it’s not magnetic). It hangs on my bedpost and I sleep with it every night………
It was a gift of love and faith to you. Thank you for sharing. God Bless.
My favorite rosary is the little plastic one. I go to sleep with it around my hand
I have a plastic rosary from Lourdes. It came with a candle, prayer card for the rosary and a card touched to the stone of the grotto. I was there as a teenager, but those things were a parent's thing and didn't trickle down. Too expensive, probably. There were 5 children.
A plastic rosary is what got me back into the faith
A friend finally asked me when looking at my crucifix, “Don’t you know Jesus came down off that cross?” I responded with, “yes, Catholics wear it as a reminder of the suffering He did for us.” She said, “I never thought of it like that.” It opened her mind. I’m so glad when people ask questions.
It is so sad that protestants besmirch the Catholics who devoutly display the Corpus crucifix, and our religious statues as well. I am no longer a practicing Catholic because I will not embrace the post Vatican ll changes. Sadly, when I did find traditional Catholic churches that I could attend, only to discover that there was an almost bitter and jealous competition between them. The final blow was to discover that the lack of accountability led to other abuses of power. I am now a fallen away Catholic who truly believes that the Chair of Peter is vacant.
My son is a Protestant and a pastor of a church. We do not debate the various differences, but I know he is adheres to a strict moral code and a deep love of our Lord. He is an amazing son, husband, father and pastor. The best we can do is to love the Lord with our whole hearts and to judge not lest we be judged.
😊😅

Jesus had been beaten prior to his being forced to carry his cross. He was beaten so severely that he could not carry the cross without assistance. His beating was far greater than most. That he carried the cross at all, that he did not die during his beating 😔. My God how can any of us ever sin knowing what Jesus suffered for us...
I'm in awe every time I think about what our wondrous Savior ✝ did for us.😞
Jesus walked up carrying the cross without shoes!! He suffered for the sake of us. Lord Jesus, you are the king of kings and the Lord of Lords. GOD Almighty FATHER PRAY FOR US 🙏❤ ✝️ 🇺🇸 🙏
I have a novena. It's a year long one. Our lord and saviour Jesus Christ give it to saint Brigid of Sweden. He's promised great graces with it. Those who recite it say 5480 prayers by the end of the year and that is a prayer for each blow he received! You truly pray for every blow during his sorrowful passion. However instead of just s year I'm considering it a lifelong novena.

We praise and thank you Lord Jesus, for you have redeemed us by your Holy Cross.

YES... that's VERY TRUE sign of the CROSS KEEPS YOU AWAY from any IMPENDING BAD SITUATIONS like car accidents etc etc
Me too.
If Jesus was kill by an axe would a pendant of an axe protect you. The bible warns against using any images in worship.
@@stevei1761 Who said we worship the images? Do you not display photos of your loved ones? Have you ever looked at a photo of a deceased or absent loved one and spoke to that photo to feel a closeness to that person? Come on! Lighten up...Catholics do not worship graven images. “Let he who is without guile cast the first stone.”

Act of Contrition In Front Of The Crucifix
My Jesus, by the pain You did endure when Your Left hand was pierced with the nail, give me true sorrow for my sins.
My Jesus, by the pain You did endure when Your right hand was pierced with the nail, give me perseverance in Your grace.
My Jesus, by the pain You did endure when Your left foot was pierced with the nail, deliver me from the pains of hell. My Jesus, by the pain You did endure when
Your right foot was pierced with the nail, give me the grace to love You eternally in heaven. My Jesus, by the wound that was made in Your Sacred Heart, give me the grace to love You always in this life and in the next. Have mercy on us, Jesus, our Love. Pray for us, Mary, our hope.

I'm not even Catholic but I pray the Rosary and make the sign of the Cross each time I pray....
Which denomination identifies you? And how did you learn the rosary?
@@josephhabib7602 what is a denomination? You mean like Baptist, or Catholic, or something like that? No, I was called to Christ through His Mother, Mary. Christ is more than any denomination. I got Jesus, so, if the rules don't apply then they don't apply. LOL
AWESOME
My the lord God bless you.
If you are Christian you are Catholic ( look up the meaning of catholic} in this case these folk are Roman- as in Roman Catholic-

Watching podcasts like this illuminate our faith and increase the Holy Spirit in us. Our faith and Our history are more important today than before .
Can you please help me with a struggle with the cross, I Love Christ but the image of him on the cross
always brings tears to my eyes.
I’m a 73 yr. Old Catholic, and never knew some of the things you taught about the cross….Thank you! 🇺🇸🙏❤️
I teach RCIA. My class often asks - Why do Catholics keep Jesus nailed to the cross?
MY ANSWER - How much do you love me, I asked Jesus. "This much", He said. And spread out his arms on the cross with love for me.
That answer has satisfied everyone who has ever asked me that question. And I usually get a response of - WOW!
That’s a sweet and thought provoking answer. When Catholics look at the Crucifix we get a reminder of the essence of salvation, victory over evil, Gods love for us, our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Shalom,Haleluyah,The true name of God is Yahweh,&Elohim, god love human beings because all human beings are sinners and god became man through Mariam the holiest woman always pray to god Yahweh, and when he became man his name is Yeshua Hamashiach&Jesus and died on the Cross for the Remission of our sins, for whom ever believe on him will surely got forgiveness of sins, and we must ask Abba Yahweh for his Ruach Haqodesk to guide us
So that became strong faith in god Yahweh through his son Yeshua sela Amen,we are save and we must be Baptise in god name Yahweh, and in Yeshua Hamashiach name, and in Ruach Haqodesk&Holy Spirit, sela Amen.if we won't get Baptise in this way, none hope in salvation, sela Amen,Thanks to all believers in Yeshua Hamashiach the real name of god's son,Amen.
@@luischinyung3891 Jesus Christ IS God!
@@southernlady1109 The real name of Jesus is Yeshua Hamashiach mention in Hebrew Bible, not Jesus,we must use his real name guys,Jesus is invented name change by Lucifer followers, sela Amen, god real name is Yahweh&Elohim he became man and his name Yeshua not Jesus, his name was change by Roman Catholic,so if you don't believe you check on Hebrew Bible the original Bibles so you check the Bible before you believe the real name of Yeshua Hamashiach,Praise Yeshua, Amen.
@@luischinyung3891 Jesus Christ is God The Sons name. His name came from God The Father and it means Savior. The Catholic Church gave The Holy Bible to the world. This is history. I don’t converse with UA-cam trolls.

We are Very Blessed here in Singapore , every Church has a Big Beautiful Crucufix
Thank you gentlemen for explaining more about our Lord's cross from a Catholic perspective. As an adult 'cradle' Catholic, I have spent the last several years learning more about our faith and felt humbled to have been aware of 3 of the 5 items you mentioned. The more I learn, the more I love both Christ and His bride! Blessings to you for enlightening me even more. 🙏

I was always told he is on the Cross to remind us what he did for us, and I am Catholic
Thank you all for this episode! It is a subject I needed to be reminded of! Carrying my cross, I try hard to offer my suffering to the glory of God! Lately I caught myself whining about my situation and this has helped me focus on the obedience of Jesus and the stoic acceptance of his suffering!
Thanh you. I will replay this episode so I can absorb it more fully
I so very much can relate... dnt u jst LAAAAAVVV these 3 Kings (I mean 3 Fathers). I do have a question tho to ask the 3 Fathers, can anyone of u answer this question "Is saying or uttering 'Que-o-ror' really a mortal sin?" As far as I know it's not as BAD as saying a bad word like madda F or son-of-a-B**** its jst a figure of speech, am I right or am i RIGHT?
Just like there aren’t roofs on houses, God sees all... ✨✨✨
In my humble opinion when you were asked why Pilate put that insignia above Jesus’s head on the cross (the king of the Jews) I feel differently than the answer you gave, when you said “Pilate put it there to mock Jesus” In my opinion, I believe that since Pilate was always at odds with the Sanhedrin, and just lost a public political battle with them, because they were screaming for the crucifixion of a man he felt was innocent by Rome’s judicial standards, and not only was he(Pilate) forced to comply because they threatened him by saying he was disobeying Caesar ( remember they hypocritically shouted we have no king but Caesar ) and on top of that made a fool of him when he kept the Roman tradition going of letting the people decide and they chose Barabas to give freedom to; he was quite annoyed.
So here’s where he knew he could be spiteful to the people that made a mockery of his judgement. So he knew they’d be pissed if he hung the sign over Jesus calling him what they hated most and rejected Jesus of being...
The King of The Jews.
I think it was more about mocking them and hitting them where it hurt most.... right in their religion, and it was less about Jesus.
Just my opinion of course, no disrespect to anyone more learned than me....✝️
Point taken. Always best to look at the big picture. Never through a keyhole. I like this interpretation. Highly plausable. Besides which, Egos played a huge part. Just like today
To say that Pilot initiated the death of Jesus is true; after being egged in by the Sanhedrin. You have your facts right, although the Jews have never wanted to admit that it was they had Jesus crucified. In fact, the average jew had no say so...it's always the honchos who make the big decisions, in this case the Sanhedrin who were actually the law of the land & were generally the most wealthy.
Glad I read through the comments- as mine would have mirrored yours. I always thought Pilate gets somewhat of a bad rap- he was in a position of no win- his job was to keep order. He personally spoke to Jesus, had him scourged to appease the mob, offered Barabbas as a substitute, then washed his hands- all seem to me to be saying Jesus did nothing to deserve crucifixion. He also refused to change the sign to appease those who hated Jesus, which to me was flipping a finger to them. The REAL irony here if you listen to Dr. Brant Pitre's lecture on the hidden identity of Jesus and Joseph, in which he explains why the Gospel of Matthew starts out with genealogy, is that Joseph, and then Jesus were in direct lineage of King David. This would mean that in fact, Jesus truly was the king of the Jews, which would even magnify the slam on the Jewish leaders- more so than Pilate. Unknown to Pilate or the Jewish leaders- they forced him to have their own earthy king crucified! The richness of our catholic faith is sometimes almost overwhelming!
They said “ don’t make it say He is King of the Jews , but rather that He
SAID He was king of the Jews “
Pilate said “ what it says is what it says “ ( don’t care if you don’t like it )
"Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me."
(Luke 9 :23)
Does anybody know what it means to become a follower of Christ ?
How to deny themselves?
AND how to take up their Cross daily ?
How to follow Christ ?
@@fritula6200 Put God first and foremost, not the other earthly things that make our lives, and to hold on to and stand with the truths of the Lord's teachings even if it means you are persecuted.
@@fritula6200 These are GOOD questions to contemplate always. It would be a good exercise to discuss these with others without judgement or pride. I think that the answers to the specifics changes as we change. Here are some ideas. To be a follower of Christ is to have ACCEPTED what he has done for the removal of our sins. To take this gift of new life seriously, with deep gratitude in our hearts. Saying “Thank you Jesus!Thank you Jesus!” always, under our breath. Dedicate yourself and everything you are and do toJesus first thing in the morning, with a sign of the cross. Ask Jesus for his help in drawing closer to him. Know that all prayers that are asked according to his Will are answered. Seek to be changed. “Seek first the Kingdom of heaven, and all will be given.” Jesus takes us just as we are, sins included, but for own good, we need to remember that he came to take away the sins of the world which are blocks to our relationship with him. In the end, we cannot serve 2 masters. To be a follower of Christ means to strive to be like him. So we do as he did. We get away from the crowd regularly and talk to His and our God. We do this to get help, strength, direction, rest, and to feel His Love. I have to run now. Hope this helps. Thank you for the opportunity. I hope others answer too. There is much more . . . .but following happens in an instant. The Kingdom is close at hand!
According to the gospel writings Jesus may not have carried a
‘ wooden cross ‘ even 10 feet, yet none the less Jesus indeed did
‘ carry His cross ‘
Such beautiful insight on the cross. God bless you all and thank you being a beautiful light to the world!
Thanks this Strengthening my Faith as a Catholic. I too get a lot of spiritual attacks its simply horrible, but now O am Blessed in the Holy Rosary Satan has departed by Grace of Almighty God. Amen 🙏
We have a Crucifix at the top of the steps and yes it reads “INRI...”
Praise The Lord! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks, have a blessed evening guys... Peace be with you all...
It is my understanding that we venerate the cross, not adore it. We adore Him who died on it for our sake.
I am an Adorer of the Christ of God, our Main Man, and him the risen Word of God.
3AM for an hour on Friday-Saturday nights in Immaculate Conception of Cedar Rapids, IA.
We don't worship the Bible, or the cross... or Mary, super nice as all these and many other people and things of this place are. We worship the Creator, the Son and the Soul of God aka the Holy Spirit.
The cross was the traditional way of execution in those days and not a symbol of Christianity. If Jesus was executed by electric chair would you have worn that on your neck and hung that on your walls?
@@Natalie-fj7fs The Christian wears the symbol of the Cross of Christ, a symbol of God's free gift of eternal life with Him to all through Jesus Christ. The cross was a symbol of torture and death. But Jesus, by what he did on that cross, turned it into a symbol of self-sacrifice, salvation and glorification of God. Christians are identified with the Cross of Christ as a Jew is identified by the Star of David and the Muslims the Crescent and Star. Your "if" scenario is moot as Jesus died on a cross.
Very beautifully put.
I was taught that we venerate the cross and adore Jesus by prayers said
PRAYING FOR ALL GOD'S CHILDREN 🙏 ❤
I would love an episode on what the items in the sanctuary are. The altar, ambo, tabernacle, etc. Maybe even get into the ciborium and other things used during Mass.
Read The Incredible Catholic Mass. This book reveals all. The Mass is completely wonderful after reading this book. God Bless
@@williammann6198 I know the all the items and their purposes and names but I thought it would make a good episode.
When I was growing up I knew the names of the Priest and Nuns robes.I knew the names of everything that was used in Mass and Benediction.I knew everything that needed to be known. Do you think God will remember all these things ? I’m sure he will now that I’m coming to the end of my life….
When I was young I was taught about the robes worn and of all different colours . I was also taught about all aspects of the Masses.I’ve forgotten now that I am 75 but no doubt I will remember when I see them or when I am prompted.
@@donnamachugh9493 I think we will be judged on our acts of faith, hope and charity. Hopefully we will have enough acts of those virtues to offset any faults.❤❤❤

Thanks indeed for this beautiful and very good content in your channel that talks about one the heart of Catholic Christian Faith and beliefs. Appreciate it very much.
Really a great help for the listening public, to have a clearer and deeper understanding about the importance and significance of the Crucifix. Gratefully yours, viewer from the Philippines, Southeast Asia
A few days ago I watched my first episode of The Catholic Talk Show. It was about the fifteen things that should not be done in church. I definitely agreed with them all but anyway…from that show I was led to this one which I really found to be so exileratingly insightful and just provided me with knowledge I didn’t even know I had been thirsting for. Your show is just fantastic and helps me learn more about our God than I’ve ever known. I am truly thrilled to have found your show. Something I really like is that you all have such respect for one another and everyone lets each other speak in turn. This show is what I’ve been looking for and I thank you for it
Thank you so much for the prayer to be said before the cross .

I went to a funeral in a non catholic church my dead cousin joined and whatever that preacher was hollering about i could hear one of my aunts saying jeez im so glad im Catholic I cracked up and never talked about it.
@Dianna when a friend of mine once worked for an insurance Co. She told us the loudest in court were usually the guilty ones"
Why are you mocking another denomination? 😒 There are 3 reasons that I am questioning my Catholic up bringing. I went to Catholic school from 1 - 12. I'm still a Catholic but with what the Church has become makes me upset. 1st - These Priests that raped our children just got moved to another Parish. Everything was hushed up. 2 - The Vatican knew all about this. These Priests should have been stripped of their Priesthood and put to jail. They are no better than any rapist that belongs in jail. The Vatican covered it up. This bothers me. Also, to me, the Catholic Church services are mundane, Week to week. Never really getting deep into Our Father and Our Lord Jesus Christ. Maybe your church is different. Don't get me wrong I have Jesus in my heart. My Father in my heart. The Holy Spirit and Our Mother in my heart. I pray daily, I say the Rosary daily. My Love for my Lord Jesus overwhelms me. I don't know maybe my Priests just don't how to be Priests. That's why I stopped going. I'm learning about Born again.
Where is the rosary in the bible

The cross was so heavy that it cut Jesus's shoulder deeply down to the bone. Jesus Himself said the wound on His shoulder was the worst of His wounds. It hurt worse than all even the one in His side.
Yah I cud jst imagine this one-- been like carrying this cross over the 4 decades alredy n I have been carrying his cross up to the present moment. 😢😢😢
There is a beautiful prayer @ to JESUS
most Excruciating pain on His shoulder
Old loving Jesus, meek Lamb of God, I, a miserable sinner, salute and worship the most sacred wound of thy shoulder on which Thou didst bear Thy heavy Cross, which so tore thy Flesh and laid bare thy bones as to inflict on Thee an anguish greater than any other wound of thy most Blessed Body
I adore Thee, O Jesus most sorrowful. I praise and glorify Thee, and give Thee thanks for this most Sacred and painful wound; beseeching Thee by that exceeding pain, and by the crushing burden of Thy heavy Cross to be merciful to me, a sinner, to forgive me all my mortal and venial sins, and to lead me on towards Heaven along the way of Thy Cross. Amen
How could the wound in His side ‘ hurt ‘ when it was inflicted after He had been dead for some time?
This subject of the Cross of Christ has really opened my mind to exploring His passion, especially His carrying of the cross. I hope you all realize how much you are “evangelizing” many, many people with your videos. God bless each of you. That prayer before a Crucifix - I learned and recited very morning for 8 years in grade school. First thing the principal would get on the speaker (?) and the whole school would recite it from our school rooms.
I'm so glad that you mentioned how he as a human had to go through such grief. He Sanada
Has had bouts still dealing how his father God has allowed him to go through the pain emotional and physical he suffered. He still carries this pain that comes up every so often to deal with try to understand how God could have done this to him
It is not often but it still something he deals with.
His last moment of suffering Spiritually I wrote him a poem trying to convey my love understanding and how he is shielded by out love
the greatest wound was on his shoulder. that would debunk the saying it would been just a beam across his arms. It was a full cross that he carried. His shoulder was bare with bone showing. God have Mercy on us. the amount of suffering and grief he went through for us. for love of us.. He amazes me everyday. I am in awww
God bless you all.

In this series I’m narrating events and miracles from the splendid life of Don Bosco. St John Bosco used to perform a miracle almost every day, through the intercession of Mary Help of Christians. From the lives of saints we can learn how to love God more and draw closer to him. Thank you
@@chrisjohnson5640 I am a catholic I love Mary I believe in God. I follow the true church I have the sacraments I am good . That is protestant garbage not scripture at all

Btw, this podcast was great. You all are teachers! I learn so much
When St. Bernard asked Our Lord which was His Greatest unrecorded suffering? Our Lord answered; I had on my shoulder, while I bore My Cross on the way of sorrows, a grievous Wound, which was more painful than the others witch is not recorded by men. He said Honour this

Getting excited for this episode!!
Hello from The Gospel Cafe in Roanoke Virginia
I have been enjoying these talks. Thank you 🙏🏻
I have a crucifix in my room. My mom died with it on her chest we placed it on her and placed her hands on it. She took her last breath with it.
🔥❤️
Wow amazing!! God be praised
Wow what a awesome way to surrender our lives in the hands of Jesus
That was a wonderful action on your part. What comfort for her.
What a beautiful memory. Sorry for the loss of your mom...thoughts & prayers🙏❤❤
As kids, we use our vivid imagination. Speaking of the crucifix, I asked my godson what he thought INRI meant. Without even thinking twice, he said “I’m nailed right in”!
That’s not funny.
It is hilarious. Kids say the darndest things....
Thank you for sharing fascinating!
I had a priest tell me, praying the rosary while not in Grace, married outside the church, was useless and he scorned me for it. That emotionally blew me out of the habit. I was too busy crying, when I thought about it. So I don't get an indulgence, at least I was willing to do it anyway. That's an act of faith, too. It certainly can't hurt.
I'm so sorry that you had a terrible example of a priest. Please know that our Blessed Mother wants to help you pray. When you say the rosary, you are holding her hand as she shows you her Son. On behalf of that bad priest, please except my apologies. You are in my prayers and I hope that you will find peace in prayer
Keep praying the rosary. It is powerful. It changes us and those we pray for in ways we do not know. That priest, was trying to get you to be married in the Catholic Church - his manner was wrong, but his intent MAY have been good. The end never justifies the means. Praying the rosary is a good/God thing. I am sorry that you were hurt.
That’s appalling!! Pope Francis does not say that. He welcomes you and asks his priests and us to welcome you - that you should feel part of the community.
Strike a blow for poor catechesis. Please forgive this ill informed priest. Mary wants all of humanity to pray the rosary.
Praying the rosary is sacrificial prayer. Saying the same words over and over seems boring. Why not say it once and done. That’s the sacrifice part. Will not God just need one time? Why don’t we ask Him?
Watching from Cape Town South Africa

It’s a story, the three seeds origin is without magisterium and the official Catholic teaching.

Good afternoon from Texas!
Good afternoon from Calgary
Good evening from North Carolina
Save us oh holy cross for you alone are worthy to bear Him, Who bears the world! ✝️✝️✝️✝️. I was told to look for the INRI on every rosary cross before buying it.
Some crosses have ІНЦІ or ΙόΝόΒτΙ, depending on the language of worship.
May God’s blessings be on you all
Thank you for your show
I learnt a lot from your talk. Thank you and God bless
I always felt that the importance of the Corpus on the Cross was to remind us always of the sacrifice Christ made for our redemption and salvation, it wasn’t just the wood of the cross or the Resurrection as our Protestant brothers and sisters see it. To be constantly reminded of what our Blessed Lord, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity ,went through in His human and Divine Natures should never leave us complacent and to me, that can happen when the Corpus isn’t present on the Cross. Just my opinion.
Oh i like that! "Why do you have Jesus still on the cross?, he was resurrected!"
Reply "why do you have a cross without Jesus, did the wood of the cross die for you?"
@@Navygrl58 If I may step in, it sounds very much like Ducky was agreeing with you.
When Protestants ask you that question about why we still have Jesus on the cross, there's a good reply to give to them.
@@julieelizabeth4856 You very well might be right and I read it out of context and for that I’ll apologize to Ducky and will delete my comment.
Thank you good friend!
@@mrsducky3428 Good response.
Yes Diane, seeing Jesus on the cross reminds us to take up our crosses. I am less likely to complain about insignificant life circumstances when I see his example and love. Complete surrender is manifested in Jesus.
