I loved the two "couples" parallel, the Rex gets all the ladies and the Carno is left high and dry,I feel him,I relate to his disappointment, and I want one more season in the Maastrichtian to give my man justice and show him having a successful mating ritual
As far as these mating rituals go, they kind of define the whole phrase 'less is more' haha. If they do make series 3 then I think it'd be interesting to see carno do something else as well. Maybe hunt or getting rid of parasites or some other behaviour.
Planet Earth II had a very good soundtrack overall. That song is from the scene where the sloth is swimming for a mate, which I think was the very first scene in PE2. So it's not too far off in terms of the theme of the song.
For almost every clip yeah. Some bits are clean enough as they are, like T. rex eating. Other than that, sample sound foley from PP and other sources, add background noise etc. In the end it's pretty much half the work of the edits.
A world just as real as our own. But very different in so many ways.
Very true indeed

At 6:48, I find this new music better than the original episode. The major key, bouncy kind of tune feels a bit silly. Astounding editing, btw. ❤❤❤

Do you redo the sound of the footage?

8:42 what species of turtle is that
Arrau turtles
Edit: an obvious downside of not featuring any narration
The music is annoying. Scrap it. Please.
Then don't watch it.
