Thin Slavic hair here 🙋♀️ I do 1 wash day, 2 dry shampoo days. Thought it was impossible a year before, but it’s fine) The only downside is spending extra money on dry shampoo and taking some time to find the right one. I only use Batiste, the other ones didn’t work for me.

your hair is STUNNINNNGGGG!! i started growing mine out recently and it gets so frizzy so quickly so i guess i’m taking care of it wrong! thank you for this video you’re the best “i randomly clicked on this video in my recommended 3 months ago” decision i’ve made.
If you mean frizzy in like all the little hairs bend up when the air is moist, then you probably got curly hair or wayvy at least but hasn't realised it yet. Stop using heat altogether and look up the Curly girl method. It might change your life. Hair like this is more sensitive and dry (but often oily in the roots because the scalp is dry just like Nils said) so you need to apply conditioner to the scalp as well and massage it in. It's Important to use shampoo and conditioner that don't include silicone in it. Your hair will get curlier and curlier over the years so the earlier you start treating it right the better. There are tons of videos of people with hair like yours that thought their hair was straight but ended up with beautiful shiny sexy curls with the right treatment (by using the curly girl method or variants of it). I'm one of them (no vids but hair like that). I couldn't be happier with my hair than I am now. It has never been this nice. People stare at my hair and that never happend before I did this change. I was ashamed of my hair and was never happy with it. Now I love it. Every day. Even my daughter envies my curls even tho her hair goes down to her butt and is thick and beautiful. I hope this will help you💜
Tess L yeah it is like that! i suspect that my hair has real curl potential because my grandmother has really tight curls, my lifestyle just hasn’t really allowed the time to take care of it (or i can’t be assed to keep up a hair care routine). thank you for the reply, i’ll definitely look into it!!!

Straight facts!!!! You hit the nail on the head with so much, and that's coming from a licensed stylist. But I will say, there's nothing wrong with brushing wet hair, SO LONG AS YOURE USING THE RIGHT KIND OF BRUSH!! (Wet brushes or the tangle teezer like you use. Their bristles are strong enough to deranged, but soft and bend to not yank hair)This is mainly for us CURLY PEEPS! Brushing dry is a real struggle.

I'm following a "lite" version of the Curly Girl method and you hit like, 8/10 of the important points without even trying. The only things I have to be sure to do that you don't are to use sulfate/silicone free products, use leave in conditioner, and not to use terrycloth towels. (I use a tee shirt instead)

For oily hair I found that baby powder actually works better than dry shampoo (at least for me).
I have straight fine hair so it's more noticeable if its oily as opposed to thick or curly hair. I started using dry shampoo a long time ago but it only worked for a couple days and left my hair with a weird texture. Recently though I switched to baby powder and it looks and feels cleaner for longer.
What I do is brush my hair out before bed and sprinkle some baby powder in sections and tie it in a bun. Then I just brush it out in the morning and it looks just as clean as if I washed it. Then when my hair gets more oily over the week I wear it up or put a hat on. But fr this has saved me so much time getting ready in the morning and keeps my hair fresher longer, so I hope this helps someone :)
I am a 3c curlyhead, so this will do absolutely nothing for me, but I gotta support our king, and my coursework didn't wanna be done anyways 🤷🏽♀️
Well a lot of the advice is applicable as it is also part of the curly girl method e.g. not washing your hair very frequently, avoiding silicone, avoiding heat and chemical processing, using a silk pillowcase or bonnet etc.

@@nursyazwaneehadi9200 Curly hair her, I have to brush it or my ends get dry, I get matting/tangles which makes it more likely to break and when it comes to cutting my split ends I can't see them if my hair is not more or less going in the same direction
You can brush your hair while is wet but only with conditioner or a hair mask, that way you can moisturize it and detangle at the same time and its going to be more protected from breakage!
That's best if your hair is curly and really difficult to brush

I didn't have the money to get a haircut for a year and a half and by the time i was able to finally get one, i noticed one of my spilt ends had literally split into 5 different sections!! I double checked to make sure i was only holding one strand of my hair because i was so baffled to see that it could split more then 2 ways at one spot lmao.
I ended up having to lose a good 3 1/2 inches but my hair was down to my bum anyways and it feels sooo much better now! I just wish i was good at styling mine like you, your hair always looks so fabulous since it's healthy AND you know how to style it really well!

For in between days, I like to use a clarifying scalp scrub or sometimes just a quick rinse with warm water. It does really help balance out oil and get rid of sweat and dead skin

About brushing your hair once a day: it also helps with dirty hair! You don't transfer as much oil down your hair and it doesn't look so greasy so fast
