- We really didn't expect Putrajaya Malaysia to be so modern and beautiful.
Putrajaya is the administrative capital of Malaysia. Today we explore a city just outside of KL that very little people visit. Malaysia is increasingly becoming one of our favourite countries.
This city is a must visit if you come to Malaysia.

Putrajaya really amazed us. Super modern, clean and convenient 🇲🇾
Thankyou 🇲🇾🙏
there are many types of public transport in kuala lumpur.
i'm so surprised that you said could not get public transport in KL !!
there are even free buses for tourists to hop around between places !!
there are many continuous pedestrian lanes, some are covered lanes to provide shade for tourists like you, you can walk around from one building to another, from one mall to another. LRT, mrt, monorail, are available & very conveniently located.
Nasi lemak is for breakfast but now you can get it all day, nasi kandar is for lunch and dinner, but where it started, in Penang, it was for breakfast also. The vendor used to go around town, using two big rattan baskets, one each at the end of bamboo pole, carrying on their shoulders. The term kandar is to carry on shoulder.
The red batter on the chicken is masala imported from India mixed with yoghurt. I believed it is not fried but grilled.
I didn't get to explore outside of KL but I bet it was amazing!
TQ and Welcome to Malaysia... and tq for promoting our country .
❤️🇲🇾
Putrajaya looks beautiful
🙏🙏🙏
Tq tun mahathir for your vision.
🙏😊
Putrajaya was an idea of a futuristic city called Coral City. The original plan spans all the way to the sea.
The yellow Vege is actually cabbage or Kobis in Malay. Bendi is lady fingers. Glad you enjoyed the meal.
❤❤❤❤
@@mjo750 Thank you! That makes sense!
PUTRAJAYA LAKE is one of the worlds largest man made lake..and this modern city actually was ideas by Malaysian former PM..Tun Mahathir..
We love Putrajaya 🙏
Alhamdulillah Rosli did explain very well 😊❤️👍🇲🇾
🙏❤️🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾
Before Covid hit the world, Putrajaya held so many event from hot air balloon shows, water sport and international flora festivals from time to time. Now we are still awaiting for that kind of event. Nevertheless, people are still going there on weekends especially for dinner or just walk around the lake or cruise along. There are cruise service there.
We love Ireland. The Irish are the nicest people especially in your support towards Palestine.
Tidak orang2 seperti usa...jerman..sifat mereka melanggar hukum kemaknusia....russian sebuah negara yang amat bertamadun..kerana mereka menolak pekara yang bercanggah dari tamadun manusia sebenar..sepergi lgbt...
🇲🇾 Truly ASIA
🙏🇲🇾
I've been to Putrajaya myself from KL, and it is a beautiful city - very clean and modern
you can find the world largest roundabout in Putrajaya with a diameter of 3.5 kilometers.
'Kandar' means to carry a load with a pole on your shoulder. So back in the time in penang, they would sell this nasi kandar around the town by carrying the food over their shoulder
Super interesting fact! Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
I'm local Malaysian and I'm very proud to have this beautiful administrative city of Putrajaya, absolutely gorgeous futuristic city. Beautiful different kind of building architecture. It lies just 25km of capital city of Kuala Lumpur
❤️🙏
From Alamanda, you can walk by the lakeside up to Cyberjaya. About 15km. Near the futuristic bridge you saw on the Putra Bridge, there is another mosque called the Iron Mosque.
Amazing thank you 🙏
I love how you guys respect local culture and religion, If this world was filled with people like you, I'm sure how beautiful this world would be, You are great people who have traveled around the world to learn about local culture,I hope one day I can be like you.. thanks guys to visiting us hopefully your enjoy :)
for me, renting an electric bike is the best way to explore Putrajaya... night view at putrajaya secret garden also the best...
Great idea!
Another monument that worth to visit in Putrajaya is the Millenium Monument which looking like an Obelisk located next to Putrajaya Lake. You can climb the monument while reading interesting history of the country since few hundred years ago up to millenium period.
❤ thank you for this info
The Irish people is something out of this world... Mostly Muslims have a great respect for Irish people, especially the MP Mr. Richard Boyd Barrett who always standing with our Palestinian brothers...
We are all one ☝🏼 thank you for watching
Welcome to Malaysia! I worked for 3 years in Cork, Ireland. Best experience ever! Healed me out of the madness I experienced living in the UK before that. I wish I could go back but my work visa said “that’s it!”. Anyways, come to Terengganu and enjoy the islands while its still not monsoon season!
newly built city Nusantara Indonesia took example from Putrajaya
Another new interesting attraction in Putrajaya is the Wetland Studios which is a nature-theme indoor theme park.
Oh wow nice!
TERIMA KASIH @Two Mad Explorers for your kind words and appreciation of the beauty of Putrajaya as well as our local cuisines. The nasi kandar cost more than nasi campur (mix rice)or other rice like Biryani as the spices are many and some imported.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you for your support
We don't walk around at 12.00 o'clock due to hot climate! We do jogging at early morning and in the evening.
I loved it when Ukept emphasizing the city/place is very clean. Many travellers or visitors never mention the cleanliness of the city they visit. Cheers
We love Putrajaya ❤️ thanks for watching
Beautiful place. I don’t have a chance to visit in this details. Thanks for sharing, nice vlog❤
❤️
The green chilli is of a non spicy variety. The red colour of the chicken is from turmeric and chilli paste.
❤❤❤❤
The Putra Mosque (pink color) use the air from the lake to give it a cool air in the mosque where the air intake get through all the pole structure of the mosque....
yes im agree, Nasi Lemak usually just for the breakfast, and Nasi Kandar for the lunch, dinner and sometimes we eat it at 2.00AM while watching a football match...EPL, UCL or World Cup games
❤️❤️❤️
Welcome to Malaysia!
Thank you so much
Very nice video abot putrajaya. Pleased to see you in the mousque. May Allah guide you to the right path. ❤

Just so you know, that place where you started this putrajaya vlog was captured in the center of the biggest roundabout in the world
Putrajaya is very beautiful at night, especially the pink mosque(putra mosque) and the bridge
Such a beautiful place 🙏

Yes, kandar rice and beriani rice are more delicious than nasi lemak, but the price is quite expensive

Thank you very much .. sincerely
You're most welcome
Glad you all enjoy Malaysian food. Having nasi kandar should have more gravy then its feel all the flavoured.
Nasi Lemak is very special. Sambal, fried chicken, fried small fish or ikan bilis and peanut aswell simple and very delicious.
Absolutely amazing food ❤️❤️🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾
Next, try nasi lemak wrapped in banana leaf, it actually tastes more authentic
Thank you for the suggestion 🙏❤️
There’s a reason why we don’t walk to get to places. It’s so hot and humid, plus when it rains it’s not sprinkling it’s like pouring down so yeah, it’s more comfortable and safer to use vehicles.
You should visit Cyberjaya as well…is very pretty here
25:27 so colorful fresh
coming at night is beautiful here
Bendi (from the urdu word Bhindi) = lady fingers
The yellow vege = fried cabbage
green chilli = nothing spicy 😉
red fried chicken, just red coloring
Great 🙏🙏🙏 thank you so much 😊
Nasi kandar 🍛👍😋super sedap 👍
Climate in Malaysia was very hot and humid. Espacially from time 11 am to 5 pm. Soo sweat and getting wetting hair, head, cloth. That why we alway using personal car or hire Grab Car. Remember that during month March to April and August to Disember will be Rainning Storm weather.
You did a very good research. Congratulations!
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Beside the mosque, on the leftside theres a cafe right downstair, worth visiting it.
Thank you 🙏
It is very hot at midday close to the Equator and so you find less people walking about. In fact, there is a song attesting to this Fact titled. "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" written by Noel Coward in 1933. Read the lyrics and you will understand why it is so.
Nice video 👍🏻
🙏🙏🙏
Again, splendid vlog. Cheers!
Thank you so much 😊
Bendi are the lady fingers. The yellow veggie is cabbage cook with tumaric powder and onions and kari leaves.
Thanks for the info!
Putrajaya is much like Canberra and Washington, DC, do in the US and Australia. The main objective of Putrajaya is to reduce traffic in KL so that KL may better continue to function as a business centre in more efficiently. Putrajaya's buildings were all recently constructed, you might be able to discover the majority of government offices from the executive and judicial branches in one place. Most of the inhabitants are employees of the government. However, the Parliament house and the King's palace are still standing in KL. I'm happy to hear that your trip to Putrajaya enabled you to learn more about Malaysia.
Thank you so much 😊
Putrajaya... It's already 25 years built, not new anymore.
@@harunhashim9348 - In comparison to Canberra, Australia, which opened on March 12, 1913, and Washington, D.C., the United States, which opened on July 16, 1790, Putrajaya, which opened on February 1, 2001, is still relatively new.
Thank you for the information
🙏❤️
I agree. KL is walkable but O see very less people walking
Welcome to malaysia,
Wow excellent looks thanks a lot for vedio 🌹♥️
🙏🙏🙏
For the best experience of the Nasi Kandar, do visit Penang Island.
Welcome to NASI KANDAR LIGA MAJU ❤
Greenary made putra jaya great. However more room for improvement. I would suggest more flowery on maby corners n parks..tourist friendly facilities such as portable public toilets..ATM..more trash bins..n dispensers of drinks..sodas etc
mayıs ayında Malezyadaydım çok memnun kaldım özellikle malaca ve Putrajaya harika
The building with the green dome is called the "Seri Perdana" is the official residence of the Prime Minister (PM) of Malaysia. Its big building but the current PM does not prefer to stay there but use for other useful Government & people's activities such as welcoming the other leaders of countries visit to Malaysia etc.....
The concept of Putrajaya was conceived by Dr Mahathir right after Caberra (AUSTRALIA) was similarly implemented - a centre of governmental administration. It's deserted of people cos its too far away even with access with monorail. Govt had tried to get the many Embassies et al to move to Putrajaya but was not receptive to this idea. They have other attractions like shopping complexes, amenities & even annual Formula 1 nearby there too.
Nice vid
Actually nasi lemak is normally taken as breakfast early morning while nasi kandar is basically lunch menu.
Thank you 🙏
Capital city of Malaysia is Kuala Lumpur(KL) whereas Putra Jaya is the central administrative.Kuala Lumpur is located in Selangor State, but separated in 1974 to be a Federal Territory and a capital of Malaysia. For your info, Singapore was part of Malaysia before 1965, and separated. Round about in Putrajaya is believed to be the biggest round about in the world...the cat you were playing can speak Malay.. haha.. kiddin'😁
Have a memorable moment in 🇲🇾 and big thank for promoting the country. 😻
Terima Kasih.
There is no Putra Jaya.. Its Putrajaya..
Kopi = coffee + sweetend milk. Kopi C = coffee + unsweetend milk. Kopi O = black coffee + sugar. Kopi O kosong = just black coffee. Coffee Cham = coffee + tea + sweetend milk.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Nasi Kandar is originated from Penang. It is an Indian Muslim cuisine
Absolutely delicious 🤤
Hi Explorers, bendi is ladyfinger, the yellow vegetable is fried cabbage.
Thank you so much 😊
you got good weather. not too hot
Beautiful day ☀️
Nice videos🎉🎉
Thank you so much 😊
Its too hot to walk around in Malaysia so people opt to use the car or take public transport. Putrajaya is the administrative centre where all the government departments and the Prime Minister's office is located.
Yes way too hot 🥵 😆
I hope you guys wont fail in your first attempt to try durian..hahaha..now is local fruits season..as you know..local people love durian..albeit it strong pungent smell...
Thank you 😂we will soon ❤
Great..take care..
I'm also in Putra Jaya.
Congratulation you visited the area where's I as msian doesn't even reach yet.. Thank you
❤️🇲🇾❤️
With your sweat and your tie dye t-shirt, literally looks like you are melting. 😂
Keep hydrated bro.
😂😂❤️ Terima Kasih
Uv index is the highest in the afternoon from 11-4 p.m, please be indoor or put on sunscreen to protect your skin..the chicken looks good though..penang is the home for some of the best nasi kandar though there are increasingly good nasi kandar chains in KL
Thank you 🙏
Welcome to where i am at, there are hidden gems in putrajaya, you seems to like nature so i would suggest putrajaya wetland.
You get to see some migrotary birds , pelicans and such uo close. Also there is a centre there with some fascinating things. Last time i went it is free.
for tourists info, we all should stop at Putrajaya first because it is closer to the KLIA airport than KL itself
Yes that’s true 🙏
Malaysians don't walk because of the weather. Glad Malaysia is enjoyable for you
Yes it’s wayyy too hot here for sure for long walking 🥵🥵🥵
Indeed, there are not many people going back and forth in Putrajaya. First because it is the administrative city of the central government where all the central ministries are located. Secondly, in the Road Transport statistics, there are 35 million active passenger vehicles which is more than the total Malaysian population of 32.5 million excluding foreign workers, expats, nomads, tourists etc. Therefore, most of the staff there have their own vehicles, at least a motorbike. Putrajaya will be crowded with people when there are festive events such as bicycle races, fireworks shows, independence celebrations etc. To see the people of Putrajaya gather usually at Ioi City Mall which is the largest mall in Malaysia where most of the family members of government employees spent their time there.
Thank you so much for watching
Nasi kandar has lots of different gravies. Nasi kandar is all about the different gravies. Gravies, gravies, and more gravies. Gravy trains 🤗.
Gravy is kuah in Malay.
That big blue/green building is the prime minister's department building.
🙏❤️🙏❤️
You're not silly tourists... just curious and adventurous tourists 😉
Haha thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Bendi is the okra or lady finger. The yellow vegie is cabbage cooked in tumeric.
Thank you 🙏
Malaysia's largest mall ioi putrajaya.
❤️❤️
In malay language, Mercu (mark / landmark / point) pronounced Mer-Choo . Roti Canai pronounced Ro Ti Char Nile . C as Cha nel. not as Canal . Something like that 😆
Ooooooh thank you ❤
I'm also a no.11 traveler (legs). And yes, unfortunately malaysia isn't a pedestrian friendly country. Although you could totally understand why people dont walk as much due to the hot weather. But singapore also has the same humid hot weather and yet public transport and pedestrian walkways totally kick our butts
And it is He Who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon. They float, each on its own trajectory
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Malaysia well known all done by Tun Mahathir Thanks to Tun being made Malaysia what we saw today
🙏🇲🇾
The building with the green is the prime minister's office.
Thank you 🙏

The only ministry that are not in Putrajaya is the ministry of defence, still located in KL
