There's so much non-toxic nukage in this level. Impossibly safe, if I do say.
I accidentally soft-locked the map. I got the Yellow key first and lowered the Red teleporter by flipping the switch through the bars. Took the teleporter, and didn't have the Blue key to let myself out of the area.
Yep it does become impossible if you miss the blue key
No you can go to the rocket area where you flip the lion faced switch, and there's a lift that goes up and takes you outside even without the blue key.

The Samsara mod lets you play as Duke Nukem, among other characters. Hits hard, dies quickly, and comes with both pipe bombs and action movie one liners.
This is one of my favorite Plutonia maps except for the backtracking. Nice mix of enemies. Next indeed is Tombstone, one of the best maps.

Not even the Impossible Mission could stop BMD. "Gooooood; let the hate flow through you" when you get to Map23. Haha. It's nice to see that you're back. :D
This mission is in fact impossible if you a) don't find the blue key, b) flip the switch behind the yellow bars (which is possible to do without the yellow key from the right angle... I did so accidentally which lowers the red warp), then c) go through the red warp... you're pretty much stuck in there.
Yep if you miss the blue key and go over to the other side you can't get back.
You actually can pull the yellow switch at 4:29 without the yellow key. Just press against the side of it in the indentation and switch it. But it broke the level because you can't get out of the vat without the blue key, if you get the blue key first i think there would be no problem. I tried idclipping back into the main hall but i got confused so i just restarted the level

Congrats. I graduated from Univ. of Memphis and Memphis - Louisville were great rivals back in the day. We used to have some great battles back in the Denny Crum era. Anyway, I enjoy your videos very much, Doom is my favorite game ever.

I really like this map and yep, its significantly longer than many of the previous maps. The following one is beefy too ;).
with the area u get the yellow key, well the switch that lowers the way out can be pressed without pressing the button that raises the bridge!
1:58, very cool. 9:48-9:53, yeah, BFG doesn't mean a free pass. 10:42, bald Shotgunners, nice fact. 11:52, health bonuses on top of the health bonuses, almost like you're picking up stimpacks, how wonderful, 18% instead of 3%. Chainsaw vs 4 spectors, how cool. Nice job BMD, i'm catching right up.
I do not fault bigmacdavis1. Basketball is indeed incredible during the ncaa tournament (none of my teams made it to thev elite 8 tho, so I was done with it b4 he was) way to go, bigmac!
It take 97 3/4% of the cells in my body not to call this mission impossible.
Go 4 it should be the 500 sub special, I think. That map... if you haven't played it, there's about 50 archies and a gatekeeper who flings about 8 cubes at a time
I had played Doom since Ultimate Doom was realeased, and still have no clue about why some floors are damaging, and in other maps, the same kind of floor does nothing
2:19 Well... here comes Brutal Doom. There you can toss a grenades into the pits with enemies, which I've found sometimes very useful.

Interestingly I found a glitch that I haven't seen listed anywhere, where you can press the switch through the yellow bars by pressing on or near the second to end bar on the right while aiming at the switch
Were they going for a mission impossible reference?
I was playing this recently and there were 2 cyberdemons before the blue key in the green stuff and some viles and barons. This can't be the highest difficulty. Or can you somehow go down there before those show up? I guess I can try and see.

Dario's map. It has annoying features, but I suppose is OK. Even, for a Plutonia map, is a little out of quality
developement time shows here and there in some maps.. :D
also, i think this map might be one of two that were originally for tnt evilution. but denied by teamTNT because those map were too big... so they might had alter it and put it to plutonia? just my theory...
It is pretty depressing that March Madness is over. Who was your team? Now on to Pro Basketball, of which whose season is embarrassingly long. Back on topic, are you ever going to try to tackle the original Doom "Thy Flesh Consumed"? I wish there were some way to add the Super Shotgun to that game, it would help to make it a little more fair.
Around the seven minute mark, I assuemed that was a damaging floor. There's no way to tell without stepping into it, is there?
There is no way to tell. Sometimes you just got to step on the floor to see. Lol.

Spear Of Destiny is definitely planned. But I'm not sure when yet.

Whenever I get stuck I'll just type idclip
That's the cheat code for no-clipping through walls.
Another thing I do after I'm done every map is type idbeholda which gives the all-map powerup, so I can check if I missed anything.
In co-op you start with serval chaingunners shooting at you.

I haven't watched college basketball in a few years now. I was big into it in my 20s.

Very hard, but I was eventually able to beat it on UV. Just keep moving, induce as much infighting as possible and clean up what's left.

This is a tricky thing from Plutonia: some maps have poison and blood that are not damaging. On the other side, some floors that look like water are very damaging, like map28 beginning... quite weird
