Sure I didn't think the Avs would go down quietly in that playoff series with the Jets but those jets, excluding empty-net goals, allowed 4 or more for the 2nd straight game, resulting in 10 goals allowed excluding (11 allowed including) empty-netters (respective average goals allowed per game of 5 and 5.5). How is allowing on average, excluding empty-net goals, 5/game defensively sound?
Could be a long series
2 mistakes prevented the Jets from being tied and potentially winning the game. They clean that up and they still have a chance to win the series.
Will be a long series
Regarding the Jets the output last night in game 2 tonight wasn't enough if this is the blueprint going forward it'll be a short playoff run. Cycling the puck for half the PP looking for an open lane will never work. Make your success don't wait for it to present itself to you.
Open a lane up yourself with movement well timed shots. Greasy is the only goals you'll get in this series. Don't try to out finesse the AVS.
not a fan of the left then right ear based on their position
Kinda trippy. Was thinking same thing. I like the bias but it the mics were closer, like 6-8” away from center the bias would be much more natural with a bias still… not sure why I’m analyzing audio but I’m not the only one haha
Jets are up 2-1 and Kyle Connor rings going off the crossbar, that one goes in and I think the whole complexion of the game changes. Imho.
The Jets definitely didn't play better this game. They had a good first half period, then the Avs took over, smoked them the second, and powered down the game and only allowed 3 high-danger chances in the third while they got the same in return and scored EN to ice it. Not a thrilling ending, but an effective one, controlled completely after about 10min by Colorado. Georgiev probably won't play at a .933 and 2GAA again, but if he outplays Helle, they could end it in 5
FIX YOUR AUDIO!
Jets In 5 or 6
Avs in 5, just like when they put down the Flames in 2019
The jets shot their load in game 1. AVs win the series.
