I remember my makeup artist kept taking pictures during our trial and my mom and I were super confused. Then she saw we were confused and she said "we have to make sure the makeup and hair works for pictures at all angles ". I thought it came out a little weird but seeing the pictures and video in the end, I'm thankful the makeup artist knew what she was doing. She was right, the makeup looked super youthful in the pictures

Honestly I kinda feel bad for her, I know how it feels when you get judged or do something and then your mom comes in saying “No” or she “doesn’t like it” when you loved it. I am so glad her mom told her how bad those eyelashes looked. I have no idea why these girls and ladies think those extra long lashes look good. Long nails also, I say hell to the no to those 2 things. Atleast for this occasion. My daughters party is coming up and I know she has her own taste but sometimes it is our duties as mothers to let them know when something simply does not look good. I do not want looking back at her party and asking me,¨mom why did you let me go out like that¨. We will keep it classy and elegant.
I was EXTREMELY GRATEFUL to my parents they worked their butts for my special day! Honestly all I knew I wanted lilac and lots of flowers and my parents helped me pick out my dress (my dad loved this part he wanted me to look like a cute doll lol) my mom helped choose my hair shoes makeup jewelry. As much as I love my party but the best memories was spending time with them, seeing my parents excited because I am their first child and daughter, especially for my mom, she never got to do something like this before.

I had a quince. Had everything I wanted, never gave my parents attitude but that was because they were listening to my opinions on how I wanted my quince. It’s her day. Her makeup and hair should be how she wants it to be. Y’all saying she shouldn’t have a quince cuz she doesn’t deserve it. In a Hispanic household it’s like a right of passage from a young girl to a young woman. Obviously attitude shouldn’t be present, but sometimes it happens because everyone is stressed especially when things are going south and nothing is coming out how you want it to. She was very subdued talking to her mom. I know how it feels wanting something a certain way, then mom comes and makes it out to be horrible then you don’t like it then mom changes their mind and says if you like it than keep it but at that point you’re just down and don’t want it. It’s not attitude, it’s her feeling awful because she wants something a certain way and hey mom made it out to be awful then when she says no mom says keep it if you like it.
