I feel like this song just perfectly describes the whimsical longing for childhood a lot of us get when we grow up. I am probably reading too much into it, but the lyrics and melody are comforting and a bit juvenile. Which I think was the point, which also explains all the references to different childhood candies. Overall just a beautiful song!
