Thank you for this. I’m a massive Syngonium lover and my fave family is Aroids and this is like a Syngonium mixed with an Alocascia. I’m even more excited now. Thank you and thank you for your jovial attitude; brought a smile to my face! New sub!
I just ordered this off of TikTok and was looking up care for it! I’m glad I came across this because the sellers care guide was let it dry out 80%. Do you think I should keep it near a humidifier? Also, should I put it in leca? Thank you again!!
This plant like very high humidity so a humidifier would help. Leca is also good because this plant often grows in swampy areas. Some people grow them in aquariums
Will you be charging it rent when it gets to 3 meters?! At its current size, the leaf coloration reminds me of new leaves on a piper crocatum. Thanks for introducing me to this plant.
Lethius, I am conflicted with mine's. I didn't keep it warm enough in my home, and some portions of her edges started losing its color. I now have her in a container for warmth. The humidity is 85 percent in there now. I am gonna place some water, which I have not done in her reservoir and see what happens. Since seeing your video, I am thinking she could be thirsty. 🙍🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ I will watch her more closely once I do that.
I am afraid that mine took a turn for the worse out of the blue. It is currently in intensive care! Warmth and moisture will be your best friend with this plant. Wishing you all the best!
Amazing! They are great plants. Mine has been loving life in Pon. As long as it had constant access to water you will be fine. Remember that these plant are able to grow in ponds
I would love to know your thoughts on this plant. Is this something you would like to care for in your own home?

I like this one! I've actually seen a video of mature cyrtospermas and the stem grows sharp spikes.

Hey husband from across the water
Hello there! I am feeling the love! 🥰
This came in handy, got this plant in a rescue box and although I was aware of what the plant was unsure of its growing habits and tolerances. Thanks.

I think it will be the other way around! At 3 meters with meter and half leaves, it will be charging me rent! 😅
@@RootsReady Ha! You make a convincing argument.
Seriously this is super helpful and explains everything! Thank you again!!!
You're so welcome!
Hello, excellent video 🤗. Helped me a lot . Thank you... But about fertilizer, does she like it? how would it be? Again thanks for the tips.
Hello there! I grow mine in semi hydro and give it a balance fertilizer at least twice a month. It seems to respond well to that
You use Pon, but not in a self-watering pot? Do you let Cyrtosperma Johnstonii sit in water?
It is in pot with a reservoir and has been doing great for over a year. This winter was tough on this plant though.
