Most beautiful version ever, Brett's voice on another level of existence and Richard's guitar playing is just total genius... I'm so glad it was Richard they chose to be their new guitarist all those years ago as he's the total lifeblood of this majestic sound. Amazing ...

I don’t understand why suede had to sing she’s in fashion and a cover version? They should of showcased 3 songs from auto fiction such a missed opportunity.
Probably to do with the rules of the series of Piano Room recordings made by BBC Radio 2

Years ago he said that I am less talented than his wife is an herbalist and less intelligent. I am an innovator and very creative person. I really don’t care that he doesn’t like my music and that the people that he’s around don’t care about my music I really don’t care. I listen to my music every day and I really enjoy it and if he doesn’t enjoy it and the people around him don’t think I have any talent I could care less!

The Only Way I Can Love You should be a top 10 hit it’s such a shame that they won’t get the airplay that they need to achieve that as it’s a classic song I can image Scott Walker singing it
And also, I loved hearing Brett singing in that raw style on Because The Night! Amazing cover
Brett Anderson is a very special singer with an expressively beautiful and clear voice. His singing in BTN is superb!
Since the comeback with Bloodsports, Brett's voice just gets better. Just my opinion, but here's how rate the four 'comeback' albums...1. Night Thoughts (The Fur and Feathers, what a better!). 2. The Blue Hour. 3. Autofiction (may grow on me more). 4. Bloodsports (Still great album).

She's in fashion is a bit marmite as is head music generally. I understand why it was chosen for this, but Suede have so many better songs.
I guess part of the reason is its a very Radio 2 friendly song
