How to install Pretendo on Wii U and 3DS! (Play online in 2024)

After Nintendo recently shut down their online servers for the Wii U and 3DS, the folks at Pretendo have made a wonderful (and free) online service available to us, so that we can play WiiU and 3DS games online again such as Splatoon, Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8, and more! This video covers how to connect to the Pretendo service from an unmodded Wii U, a softmodded Aroma Wii U, and a softmodded 3DS running Luma3DS.

Hey i see this is 1 day old so a very diffrent question but how do you put games on the mii screen from the home menu on the wii u

If you mean reversing having miis on the TV and apps in the remote it's like x or y. If you mean for instance if you have digital GameCube games you'll need to make a forward channel. Not exactly sure what you're asking

I think it’s just the latest games that you have played. Or communities on juxtaposition you’ve recently visited.

So, I created a pretendo id using my Nintendo ID email, except a different username and mii name, etc. Will that do something to my account? Can I change the email it is connected to?

I'd recommend double-checking the steps on Pretendo's website as they outline how to create and sign into your new Pretendo ID. I believe they recommend not using the same email as your nintendo ID, but the latest steps on their site will be best to follow
