Nice one mate, you wont be disappointed. Dont get suckered into spending absolute fortunes on gear nd remember the fish dont give a monkeys what rod/reel you use. Spend your money at the business end where it matters. Geat a decent fly line like the one i mention in the vid then loop2loop connect some decent fluro as your leader 1x butt section to 4x tip and then buy some basic flies. Couple of lures like yellow dancer, ally mccoist patterns for fast stripping. Few buzzers black / olive colours fished static under a bung. Couple of diawl bachs and cormorants and some dries like yellow owl / grunter. Max 20 flies should do it and cover most situations. Check out youtube channels mad river outfitters guide to fly fishing and rhys fishes. Also another boy from gladgow makes some cracking content southside angler is well worth a watch! @@notkeet yeah mate im sure i left a comment asking if i could get the green reel to match the rod. Glad i did as it looks brilliant but you're right yheir website showed it with a black reel. To be fair any dealings i have had with their team have been great they're always happy to help.

Hi, I purchased the maxcatch gold fly line about 1 year ago as a backup line. Since then, it's become my first choice ,very underrated line.
couldn't agree more now my go to floating WF line! Yet to find anything that even comes close to it for the price. Tight Lines mate!
how did you get a green reel with the combo from their website? it only shows a black reel for me, did you leave a message about in the order summary?
