Silver going broke/losing tons of his wealth makes zero sense. Even though he slipped back into his old madness by season 5, he planned to make Cobra Kai go global. As crazy as he is, he isn't stupid. There's no way a (multi?) billionaire would have most of his assets burned just because he opened up a few schools, supplied them with equipment, and ran a few ads. Assuming things went his way and he accomplished everything he wanted to at the ST, then how could he further the legacy of cobra kai if by then, he was almost out of moolah?
