He's a freak of nature! His body couldn't possibly recover fully between the climbs. Which means he did most of the summits while degraded physically. Its almost a super human level of performance.

Nims. You truly are gifted from the Man up there. The will is first the physical second. You have the unusually strong combination. I have climbed Kilimanjaro twice in six months. The first I had to turn back 200 meters from summit.Altitude sickness took over.But.I used that will power and inner belief in could do it. I did it the second attempt.I can listen all day to you Nims. You would make an absolutely phenomenal motivational speaker.Making back all the money your forfeited to climb.

Nims talks and his way of expressing his visions, passion, mission, understanding, n so on slowly and slowly got the person who is/was doing the podcast.. coz he changed from the beginning of the podcast, his language to his expression became more respectful and more serious and he really put all his interest and heart into it...

That hit home when Nims rescued the Abandoned climber. Just to try to imagine that scenario. From that poor climbers 'eyes' seeing the team fade away from the blinding snow. .. waiting till you the mountain takes you.

Incredible! I think Nims would be a great person to send to Mars to be one of the pioneers in setting up a human base there. He has the drive, aptitude for taking on impossible tasks and sticking with them with intense focus and determination. And of course, he takes on pain and suffering fearlessly, and determined to overcome the most challenging of tasks. All for the sake of the larger human good. Such a selfless person. He is truly unique. The earlier missions to Mars would need exceptional humans, and nothing short of that.

13:00 You would think climbing a few miles up would be easy. I could only take 4 steps at 20,000 ft without having to stop and take like 8 breaths. Yeah, I would say most people don't understand altitude effects.

Nims really is a fucking legend. So much admiration and respect for this man and to me he represents the best of what humans can achieve. The Nepali team is incredibly tough too obviously as they were right there next to him! Best part for me was how they were willing to risk the entire project including their own lives to save the strangers in trouble. It made me think that if I were ever in a similar situation I would rather die trying than leave someone else to die. Sometimes you just have to take the risk and do what's right regardless of the consequences, that is definitely something to live by. True hero....

I´m a layman on climbing, but I was sure that it was impossible to climb the Everest without doing any acclimatization, which usually takes weeks. Some climbers used an hyperbaric chamber, but these guys didn´t do either of these. Definitely astonishing
