@xXSpaceCakeXx1 Yes, we tested video playback, web surfing, BBM, music playback and more before videoing the review. And yes, we had it for a few days before the reviewing it.
This actually has potential to be my next phone. BB looks appealing but I don't like full QWERTY phones. Now a full touchscreen is a different thing. Gorgeous device btw!
The Bold 9900 and this Torch, I have been really impressed with the build quality! Metal battery cover - wow! The torch slider and the curve range let the game down though. And what is with the optical trackpad on a large touchscreen? I get that it's a design signature but it's redundant now.
I've got a list of phones I'm looking at (five phones). This will be my phone if this is much cheaper than the rest. (not released yet here in Canada.)
@bootcamp661 - I'm with u, my friend! I was wondering why we don't see more 4G BlackBerry handsets in the marketplace? I don't know who your carrier is, but AT&T sells a 4G version of the Torch 9810. And T-Mobile sells the Bold 9900 4G. Both these phones have the same specs & OS as this 9850, but have the classic BlackBerry form factor w/touch screen capabilities. I'm with Sprint & I'm gonna stay married to my Curve 8530 till they start carrying a 4G version of this 9850. Otherwise, I like it!
Too bad (0:30) euro neat and modern, gorgeous Nokia designs will run Windows Phone and not MeeGo. Anyhow, I wouldn't go for it just because it's running BlackberryOS which, although people generally don't acknowledge it, will suffer the same fate as Symbian. Not to mention the OS itself is closed source (in this regard, QNX will make no difference for RIM, denying access to the source code was their first concern after they bought it). Until Boot 2 Gecko comes out, I'll stick with Android.
@Nikolai940 I use an iPhone, and i`m switching to an Android. The only cool thing about it at all is BBM. That`s the only reason I`m trying to find something I like about this phone.

@TheKillerdead123 Yes, you can play games that support BlackBerry OS. However N.O.V.A. doesn't run on BlackBerry.
@Gregz0r1 why does apple keep putting the power button on the top right corner?

I never saw Wikitude that way... I'm having second thoughts about making myself public on that app..
I like the phone but that keyboard is horrendous. They shoulda just kept the layout they had from the Storm.
