Sir, can you please explain how friction force is independent of contacting surface area. As an example, we are using wheels for a vehicle where the contacting surface area will be less which helps to reduce excess friction. But it has friction to maintain the grip. It depends on the contacting surface.!!!

no sir ..
friction is independent of contact area but its depend upon surface roughness.. if surface roughness is high then frictional force developed is high. like if you try to hold a highly polished thing then it can be slipped from your hand but if you try to hold a rough object then than can be easily hold..
another example is the lines and ray marked on our hand and feet is also for the shake of friction ..
I hope you got my point
