Great vid. Did not know you can put the Jokers together. Bicycle has about 70 diff decks, Cypher is one of the best looking while still being simple and classy. I really like decks that have darker reds (bright red looks less serious more toy-like IMO), smaller letters/nums (looks better in Fans because it makes the Fan look bigger overall) and still has the white border on the card back. I'd like to see a smaller white border though. Promenade, Marquis, Spades are all classy looking without being too crazy over the top. We really need to appreciate how good quality even regular Bikes are. If you keep your hands clean and dry all the time, a deck will last very long. A well broken-in plain Bike deck handles so well. You can get perfect Faros and they still Fan well even after months of use. The smooth dimpled finish on Bikes really makes them great. Doing Fans and Faros feels so satisfying. Much love for Bikes, they have been making cards since the 1800s. Some of these custom decks are really gorgeous. They really do a great job on the designs. I always keep the ad/instruction cards. You can replace any regular card that gets damaged/lost with one. So you get two extra cards to keep on standby, so you'll always have 54 cards in your hand. I busted up the 10 of Hearts ❤on a bad Riffle shuffle, so I still have 54 cards in hand.
Thanks David for the review! I recently bought this deck and haven't opened it yet; thanks for showing us! I agree that these are Theory 11ish which is a good thing. Glad Bicycle stepped up with the designs and creativity on this one! 👍
The keys are a Theory 11 image, so I'm sure it is from them or from the same designer they often use. EDIT: Hard to tell... Peter Turner has his Crossed Keys deck, but there is a Crossed Keys Society that I think isn't related to him. But the deck style is similar to a number of decks that I have, many which came through Theory 11.
Hey David hope all is well with you & yours🤔 Since you're quite the Professor of the Pasteboards(?), I was wondering if bridge sized cards have become taboo amongst the magic fraternity? I remember the Fox Lake brand used to handle exceptionally well, and in fact, when I 1st learnt to do a perfect Faro(!), it was in fact with such a deck, also not to mention the easier concealment when performing such classics as 'you know what to you know where'👀. What are your views, comment down below👇🏽 . . . No giveaways tho' 🤭😂
@@magicorthodoxy Yeah I appreciate your response and I do use poker sized cards, but was just thinking out loud that I can't remember the last time I saw bridge-sized cards even in packet tricks, its almost as if they vanished 🤭 away altogether, back in the day Nick Trost packet tricks only seemed to be in bridge-sized! Well I guess evolution phased them out, doubt if you will be doing any nostalgic bridge-sized deck reviews anytime soon🤣 Thanks for your response and all the best getting to 65K💖
I just got this deck and i ccouldbt find any cypher other than remember to drink your ovaltine, spades hears clubs on tge aces and extra court cards and symbols that resemble bicycle cards on the top right edges of the backs. Has anyone found something cool in the cipher?
I admire your dedication, I used to watch you since middle school, it’s awesome to see that there are people like you to keep the community alive 🙌🏻❤️
I appreciate that!
YESSS I BOUGHT THIS DECK A WHILE AGO!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS ONE!!!!!
It's so good!

@@magicorthodoxy I do. It's a good mystery design fo' sho'.
The cypher is "unlock magical moments with bicycle" if anyone was wondering
🤣🤣🤣
Ha ok! They should have made it "Buy another pack and leave it sealed." LOL
I bought one at Walgreens and was impressed by the high quality of the design. I like it very much.
Great to hear!
It does look familiar, but I don't have one of these. Yet.
Cheers, David- I will keep an eye out for these!
You should!
thick and chunky

Magicians encourage people of all ages and hand size to use poker sized cards - but YOU do YOU

A very cool deck great review 👍👍👍😊👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
hello, I wanted to buy this but i don't know if they are good at cardistrty
it's a Bicycle deck .... it's going to be as good as any other Bicycle deck you've used
I just got this deck and i ccouldbt find any cypher other than remember to drink your ovaltine, spades hears clubs on tge aces and extra court cards and symbols that resemble bicycle cards on the top right edges of the backs. Has anyone found something cool in the cipher?
Idk the jokers seem odd with clubs and hearts on them and small text that that I can't read. They also Pharoah upside down like the old bikes
Is the box embossed?
I said it was at 1:30
@@magicorthodoxy thanks
