See the School Administration scurrying away. They had an ACTIVE ROLE in this tragedy. Funny she isn't addressing that. And I guess school bulling, guns allowed in the school, no metal detectors, Social media awareness of impending violence and now she is the Prosecution, Judge & jury. Wow. Left a lot out!

@@ronking2177 Teaching anything is sum part . The other part is the individual desire and will to learn it ,assimilate it , or imitate it. Case in point no school system ever teaches profanity as dignified common speech, and yet the masses somehow cleaves to possessing potty mouths. Hence whether the president, vp, congress, msm, social media and so on, still the individual of a reprobate mind or not.
Now ask if I think parents should be held liable for not keeping children in a child's place until their 18th birthday. Pretty sure that would fix plenty. The cost of freedom and liberty comes with much responsibility, and is quite high.

I have noticed that the press in Oakland County seem to be very polite. At yesterday's briefings, and this one, they are respectful, thank the speaker, and for the most part understand when they cannot comment on specific information. I'd like to see all violent criminals get the death penalty to scare people away from crime. But that doesn't mean we just do it. If we could just go straight from proof to the gallows, everything would be efficient and sane. But we're not allowed to. Who disallows us? Ourselves. We deserve what we get, honestly.

I agree, we absolutely need to have conversations about responsible gun ownership, but we also need to have conversations about real, adequate mental healthcare, as well as bullying, and the roll schools play in mediating, and resolving those issues. There are too many cases of children being bullied into either taking their own life, or potentially doing things to harm others due to bullying. I’m not saying that everyone who is bullied is going to do this, but it is a massive problem, and it does not seem that schools are doing enough, or taking enough action in bullying situations.

That, along with the specifics of the previously unknown “incidents” that led to the parents and suspect meeting with the school the morning of the attack, suggests that they not only had cause for concern, but that they were concerned about their son’s behavior.
