@@wormsthatdude yeah, I was gonna buy the bass 8k but dude at facekicker that does dynos said I should go with the smart 5 cuz I'll get the same amount of power so thats what I went with. I've been running a smart 3 for a year now. I'm a fan of the smart series lol.
yes sir that texas heat almost got me this year...I was tryin to install my new IB sub and had to build at night and before 8am ...other than that I appreciate the info about batts ... right now I using a pair of XS3400 but im really lustin for that Cyber 12k Limitless Lithium !!!! gotta start savin that $
Working on my car I normally do most of my longer upgrades at night or close to sundown as possible an yea limitless batteries are great from what I've seen at shows I went to an ppl I've talked to about them
If you or anyone else is interested, I have 3 Northstar 480s for sale. 2 of them have no play time on them and 1 has a month or two of playtime. I also have a busbar for the top of one of them. I will sell each for $300 and the busbar for $100. I would think one 480 should support 2 of the Smart 5ks.
I have a Taramps amplifier and I live in Houston tx if it can survive the summer with temperatures in the 100s and plus those are some decent amplifiers?
I don't use bass boost on anything bro!!! It could possibly help out if you have all the right Tuning and testing equipment but it's very easy to get into clipping using bass boost. If you don't have all the proper test equipment it's safer to just leave it off
I never use it on deck or amp ur just adding distortion to ur system by using it now depending on ur enclosure it's ok to use for a burp long as u have frequency of boost dialed in perfect for example u have a dual 12 set up box is tuned to say 35hz ur at a competition an u want to squeeze every drop out of ur set up u have o scope dd1 or whatever u like to use to tune an u tune with boost on for that enclosure for a burp it's good to b ok but daily boost naw even one song ur damaging ur sub
Dude got fired for taking a Duralast Platinum agm back from me! I only had it a week. Didn't even know they couldn't take them back. I would have need atleast 3 more to run my 8k. So I went with the lithium. So I didn't need the amg and took it back. The guy working gave me store credit. I didn't need to go there for a month or so. But when I did go back. I didn't see the guy who took the battery back. I ask them if he still worked there. They said no he got fired for taking that battery back! I was like wtf? Because if he had told me I couldn't return it. I would have just sold it on Facebook market place! Anyway yeah you can't usually return batteries 😆👍💯💨💨💨
Batteries are always important.
I just bought the smart 5 bass. If you wire to .5 ohm, which it's .5 ohm stable, when you rise to 1 or 2 ohm you'll still maintain the 5k.💪
Yes u will if u have high box rinse u could wire to a .25 ohm an rise to .5 an up
@@wormsthatdude well yeah, I guess you can lol.
@@1ohmwrecker I just got normal smart 5k an I was running it .5 rise to 1.2 an it did great

I can send this mighty max battery back it just cost 70 to 80 plus 15% restocking fee point to send back
U should have just put it inside bro all u would have todo is run power wire to it n ground it
It's tight in there already
