I love your grocery hauls and what you eat in a day. I have to wait a year to have surgery (insurance, ugh). It's encouraging to see you can still have some treats.
My restriction is more noticeable in the evening and 4+ years out, I still have issues but I'd rather that than the years of morbid obesity.. you look great!!! 👍 🤗
Brussels sprouts - boil the sprouts until soft and slice up. Then add a bit of butter to a frying pan and fry off the sliced sprouts and add some smoked pancetta and fry until the pancetta is golden/crispy. Add a few cracks of black pepper. DELICIOUS 😍
Avocado freeze very Well! I usually make my ovn “guacamole” in big batches and freeze it in small bags. When i need it i only have to take it out and let it defrost. Sorry for my english, im from Denmark, but i hope you get the meaning.
Boil the brusselsprouts for 6 min in salted water. Take them out of the water and place in a bowl. Mix with 0,9 oz of butter or Oil. Sprinkle with garlicpowder, paprika, salt and freshly ground pepper. Spred the sprouts on a plate with bakingpaper and smash them with ex the bottom of a glass. Sprinkle with granted cheese and bake in oven approx 10-12 min at 440F until Golden brown. Sprinkle with flake salt before serving. In airfryer approx 8 min at 390F.
Roast the Brussels, just with a little oil and seasonings, and they'll taste really good once they're a little crispy on the outside. You can always add some chopped bacon or lardons or pancetta 👍 🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽
I had a gastric band fitted about 6 years ago I am thinking about going for a revision to a gastric sleeve from the research i have done and going on to you there like yourself i think it would be better for me i did originally lose 5 stone my goal was 7 but I have found that over time the band has stretched and I have started to put on weight again not masses but still weight on I can't eat any bread products never have been able to it seems to flog me up you are doing really well xx
I had a band fitted in 2011, at most I lost a stone 1/2 There was 4 of us who had it on the same day and honestly, it didn’t work for any of us. One of the boys who had it done at the same time lost 2 1/2. He & I are both having a bypass, my op is March 23, nervous but can’t wait.
For the stomach problems i get som powder at the farmacy to mix with water, it tastes discusting and it feels like drinking a glass of Oil, but it helps!
You look amazing and really enjoy watching your vlogs I love watching shopping hauls too as you can get some great ideas and usualy find something new to try.I tend to have porridge or really nutty Museli (Aldi) and drink lots of water with no added sugar squash to keep me going ,lots of fruit and veg too.Take care and have a great week.xx.
You might try eating a prune or two a day to help with your movement issues. Check with your dietician about this. Prunes are great for this lots of fiber and they are a little bit of sweetness. You look so good. TFS
Would love to know how much your shop cost with having the % off your first shop. For comparison to Aldi. All bran is good for fibre and up your water intake. Thanks for sharing xxx
Everyone is different. Too much finder can mind you up. Not enough fiber, doesn't do much for you. I like the non flavor fiber you can get in the pharmacy section of the store. You mix two teaspoons in a glass of liquid. It works well for me. I think 5 gr. of fiber is too much for me, but that is just me. You may be different. If yogurt works for you, Dannon has a light + fit Greek Toasted Coconut Vanilla that is wonderful! It comes in 1 4 pack of 5.3 oz and has 80 calories, 12g protein, 9g carb, 7g sugar, 2 gr added sugar, 45mg sodium, 0 fat. It also contains L. Bulgaricus&S. Thermophilus.
I’ve gone veg mad since surgery 4 months ago. Can’t get enough cabbage peas carrots the lot!!! Crazy 😝 can’t manage the grapes though. Or cherries. The skin isn’t tolerated any more
Be careful how much of the apple juice you consume, its high in carbohydrate & sugars if you look at the breakdown on the back, unfortunately the majority of juices like this are as fruit itself has a lot of sugar! Maybe stick to water with just a small shot of juice in to give it some flavour... U mentioned Tuna, if you used the salad as a base you could do a filling meal by adding a tin of tuna, a few small slices of potato, some spring onions, sugar snap peas etc, lots of veg contain carbs hence why they fill you up, you could try it with salmon too... You could make your own pizza using maybe flatbread as the base, a layer of tomato with chicken & vegetables etc & a sprinkle of low fat cheese....as for sprouts you can boil them, roast them, boil a couple of potatoes mash them together with some spring onion & you have a tasty bubble & squeak maybe serve with a little salad with a slice of bacon mixed in
Your bran flakes are good for fibre as are Weetabix, porridge, shredded wheat and muesli. Another thing you could try are Fybogel sachets. Some people take them only when most needed to get things under control and some continue to take them every day to prevent bathroom problems from recurring.

Cotton candy grapes are one of my favs! Also they range from green to yellow. So you just have some that are both colors, they are still good 🙂

I'd avoid the tinned prunes and get the ones in the pouches, they're much tastier 👍
You can get flavored power at a drug store to add to your orange juice daily. You should feel much better.

Emma tamsyn hill has a good Brussel sprouts dish :)
