I had a mate who when he fell asleep it was almost impossible to wake him, especially after a few drinks. He was basically like a crash test dummy!😀
Naturally we found it amusing to take full advantage of this on weekends away. e.g. picking him up in his sleeping bag and take pics of him in various silly poses such as standing on his head, moving him to an amusing location to wake up in e.g. a bath, in a hammock, taped upright in a broom cupboard, face painting him, getting the girls to put make up on him, etc. He got so used to this that it never phased him other than a mild 'Bastards!'.😁
I don’t know if this is a manual car thing, but at 3:30, he's saying "the handbrake is down", basically meaning that the wheels aren't locked in place, and the car isn't parked properly. If the street is on even a slight hill, the delivery van would end up rolling down the hill!
Most cars have handbrakes (In America they're often called parking brakes)
Some new models don't, because they use an electronic interface instead. But those suck
@@MrGBH apprently americans dont use them or know what they are and that deaths due to cars rolling down hill are suprisingly high in the usa. That one star trek actor died that way being pinned into a wall by his car but that was an electronic parking break failure haha.

No it was when bank staff were allowed to go on holiday and so people/companies wouldnt have been able to withdraw or deposit money so other retail/office business usually closed as well.

Lol. A Bank Holiday is a national public holiday, the same as your federal public holidays, ie Veterans Day, Labor Day etc. It's called that because historically, obviously, Banks wouldn't be open for business on those days, the names just stuck. The joke is, is that British people will go to any lengths to 'enjoy' said holiday, regardless of circumstance, like flooding around the picnic tables like in the clip.

americans not knowing what a handbrake is classic haha. If you look the bollocks thats a good thing, same with dogs bollocks. If youre 'talking bollocks' though thats talking shite, and if you get a bollocking youre getting shouted at, if someones doing your bollocks in theyre annoying and saying aww, awk, or ugh bollocks means 'no way' or 'thats too bad' and based on how you saw awk or aww depends on the degree of compassionate or piss taking youre being. for example 'my dog died' you could saw awwwk bollocks mateee, which means you feel bad for them. Or if someone says 'i just saw a flying sheep' you could say awk bollocks mate which means theyre full of shit. Hard to overstate how many different meanings can come from what parts of the words you emphesise and the order of the words. English is very easy.
