Wanted to share this. On 7/23/2001 I hit my biggest jackpot $24,000 on a DoubleStrike Dollars $5 on a max bet. I was at the same casino on 7/23/2002 on the same machine. I hit a $6,000 jackpot. After the attendant came I had about $480 cash left in the machine so I decided to play it out. Before they made it back with my $6,000 handpay I hit another $1200 handpay. Back to back handpays on the same machine, at the same casino a year to the day apart. I'd hate to figure the odds on that one. I love your channel keep it coming!!
I have watched many of this guy's videos and I was a little skeptical (in the past I had bought other people's programs and they didn't work too well). After watching his latest series, I went to my local casino with $300 and a ton of new knowledge looking to be applied. My goal was when I doubled my $300, I am gone! Well, that happened about 8 minutes into the session (three machines - made $180 on 1st, lost $100 on 2nd, and made $260 on 3rd- $640 in hand in minutes). I kept applying his logic and ended up hitting much more (no hand pays, but one hit was $1,090 on a $1 x 9 lines). I even went back to some penny slots to just see the difference in play and compared the outcomes. Well, it ended exactly as it is stated here! I even walked the entire floor 2X and found machines that ended up being "good to play". Thank you. We are heading to a large regional casino next week (Mohegansun, CT), I will be applying this new-found skill there, let's see what happens.
Quick hits are one example. Watched a couple college kids playing .30 center a pull ( just for the free drinks ) . Suddenly they start cheering, I look over , they hit $25 . That's nice kid , you got 8 quick hits . If you had $ 1. 50 in ( the max ) you'd have $ 2500 . I couldn't help it
Use my last 90 cents on quick hits. Literally was out of cash and couldn't find my husband for more. Hit all 9 quick hits only got 700... saddest moment of my life
These episodes are good stuff. I've got them all saved to show my girlfriend cuz she doesn't have UA-cam at home. I tell her a lot of the things you say but she doesn't necessarily buy it. LOL. If she hears it from somebody else she might start to believe it. One thing, you said if somebody plays the minimum bet on a machine that you can get a bonus on at any bet and hits the bonus if they were playing more they would have hit it also. Thing is, to me on a machine that can give you a bonus at any bet, as you change from a minimum bet to a higher bet or vice versa and hit a bonus you have hit the button at a different time while you're switching buttons. If the RNG is cycling thousands of times per second because you've just changed the time that you would have hit that button in that second or so it takes you to reach from one button to the other you wouldn't necessarily be pressing a button that got you the bonus at that specific time when you did get it. So when you hit that button at a specific moment it doesn't really mean you would have got a bonus at a certain bet or you might have because you just changed the time you hit the button. If what I'm trying to say makes any sense to you. That's what I tell her when we hit on a smaller bet bonus and she thinks we would have hit it on a higher bet. It's just when you hit a button and the RNG says here's what you get at this particular millisecond not the bet amount on a machine that can give you a bonus at a different denomination. It's strictly the millisecond you hit that button. Again, if this makes any sense to you. I always try to just get her to play a higher denomination on a multi-denomination machine just because the odds are better and that ain't easy to get her to do. LOL
Great series Cowboy Slots. I am not sure if I would agree with your comment regarding the machine not knowing the bet (1 credit vs max). I like testing theories a lot on machines and what I found was if I were starting with max (5 lines) and it's cold and I change to a lower line, the bonuses start hitting diagonally. I have had it happen me many of times and even watching other people get murdered by not playing max. Just a thought. Again, keep up the great work.
@@CowboySlots With those newer machines, I think they are nothing but computers, and CAN be programmed for each bet amount to pay out a different percentage.... Lyndell sees the SAME thing I do.... switch bet amount to higher... winning play ceases, every time.
Love your videos. Well done. I have a day and a half in Vegas coming up and I'm torn... after watching your videos all I want to do is play slots now, but I wanted to hit some tables as well. If I follow your advice I'll walk away with my chin up and won't have to lose any $$ playing Craps, Blackjack or Roulette. 😊
Okay, a question that relates to your backup spin after a jackpot, I’ve always wondered after hitting that jackpot or winning some decent money off a few big spins, does it cool down from there? Have always heard never leave a hot machine and I know that it’s random but in my experience (never hit a jackpot but some some bigger spins, bonus, etc) the machine goes cold and it’s like just giving money back to the machine. Less activity, free spins, bonus features, why is that? You mentioned check and balances in the machines so I’m curious .
We only have tribal casinos here in Oklahoma and the local casinos I’ve been in don’t have the low volatility games you suggest. Also the games here are based off of bingo cards could you possibly do a video on how that affects the game and any strategies that would help with these kind of machines
Question - So you say play the highest denomination that your budget allows. You also say play the highest amount of lines possible. On many of these progressive or link games (yes I know we should generally avoid them) that is somewhat contradictory as, understandably, the higher denoms have less lines. In this case which would take precedent, denom or lines? Or is it a case on those types of machines to first pick your denom, and then only if there is a difference in number of lines between min bet and max WITHIN that denom, to then always play max lines? Thanks!
Just played at Down Stream casino in Oklahoma the Money Bags and Hot Red Ruby are low 2400 max win your right they do pay better than the Crazy Cherry 10000 thanks for the tip.
Fantastic info! Regarding lines. There are machines such as Konami or Lucky Buddha in high limit rooms that are capable of 30 lines but they only make 5 or 10 lines active. Referring to your commentary that fewer lines mean better chances because of fewer choices, does that still apply to these machines? Is the machine limited to only the combinations available on the reduced active lines or is the machine still using the total lines available (30) but just aren't paying when those inactive lines hit? Were the odds really reduced when 20 out of 30 lines were turned off, or were the odds elevated for the 5 or 10 lines like a older machines that only has 5 lines? hope i explained this well.
I didn’t know where to place this question. Is the random number generator the same in the roulette slot machines, is it the same as playing the tables? Some are stand alone units and some I play have multi games , like poker, blackjack etc…I don’t stay too long at them but have been very lucky lately was just wondering how they worked?
Thanks for video I am confused by the part we’re you said the game does not distinguish between bet sizes but then you say be sure to read the rules as some machines may state you need to bet max for being eligible for bonus. I understand slots work on rng but at the same time they need to take in a certain amount of money to pay out so if I’m sit dow and bet 20 dollars on a dollar machine and I get a bonus would I have that bonus on a 100 dollar bet? I watched all your videos and you’ve stated that the only time it changes is when you change denomination but I still don’t understand how you’d get the same spin on a 100 versus a 20 when it has to pay 5 times the amount.
So how does “bet higher for better odds ” on a class II slot ? Dancing Drums Prosperity, etc.. Does the bingo card determine your slot won, but the slot determines what or how much ?
Next week I'm going to the casino with $100 this sounds like it might be better to do a ¢ .50 then do something like a double bet to get up to a dollar. Would it be OK if I did $1 machines & max bet $2?
Off the top of anybodys head... What games have better odds w uping the denom? Ive tried to go thru the rules, sometimes i dont have time. But i am very interested of course,
In terms of volatility and design, yes. Be sure to check out the main video on the page and MySlotGuide.com for help on picking a machine that’s right for you.
Enjoying your series. Class II is what we have the most of around here. I've noticed some of the machines at the local Tribal Casino do NOT have a bingo card showing anywhere...Ive looked very closely. Does that mean that machine is a Class III ??
The only thing that would have helped with these videos (which I do like) is if you went and filmed popular game rules and pay tables and walked through what they say .
Just had my largest win($720) to date based off your principles. I was playing Triple Stars on the highest denom(.05) with the max per line (20credits) but only on 1 payline it had (9 as max). I was on playing with $60 in the machine. I hit with 2 triple star symbols and 1 American flag 7 . Would my winnings have been larger with all 9 Paylines? ( making it $9 a spin instead of $1 a spin)
For dragon link or lightning, is it better to bet $5 max bet on .01 cent or $5 max on $1 machine and if you play $5 bet is it better to play $5 in high limit same bet but one is in high limit and other is not. I had a $250 ball drop on $2.50 bet and never got that even in high limit. Someone won grand on .50 cent play ! Was awesome. So play 50lines not 25 lines. Better to increase play highest bet with most lines.
For the style games, you can win the progressive jackpot at any bet amount. It is better to play as many lines as possible, so you want to check all of the different denominations, as sometimes the higher denoms can have less lines in some casinos. My biggest advice for these games is just play What you’re comfortable playing. Of course higher denom is slightly better, but the game is still really volatile on any level.
It uses what's called a bet multiplier I believe to calculate how much. So being you bet 300, it would be subject to a persay 3x multiplier on the payable.

Update?
Had it happen twice on Blazing 7’s at the Mirage.
Hit jackpot, got hand payout, they give me a spin to reset, hit again!! Back to back jackpots!
So glad I found Cowboy Slots! He is the BEST
I call those backup plays after a strong hit "tipping the machine" and usually a net loss for those spins but I've gotten some nice hits too
Quick hits are one example.

There is no where in a machine’s programming where it can distinguish bet amounts for different results. Thanks for watching

Playing max bet has always been fast track to leaving casino broke

Not sure what you mean by your first example ahold and spin machine what is that

On class 2 slots it doesn’t really matter as much.

For a machine like cash spin, do you have to bet max to be able to land on mega or major jackpot in the spin feature?
That I’m not sure. Just be sure to check out the game rules before playing. I know most of the spin games you need to play max.
