@@ahmedrashed78 Thank you for your reply! yes, so far I have had it on autofocus, even zooming slowely while recording it will not focus, but If I'm not recording and zoom in, then start recording, it focuses just fine. So I'm not sure what the issue is (If there even is one)
I watched every second of this and it was enjoyable and showed me what it can do (zoom and close up of the feathers and feet etc) ... I like the egret dancing about before catching the fish... and then the heron says 'thanks very much' ... I liked it too when you were following the egret and into view came the glossy ibis and how you then smoothly moved onto the ibis is exactly what I would have done. Well captured. ◕‿◕ I'm considering buying this model with the main use being to video wildlife and birds. I imagine myself behind the camera when watching others footage and I can only compare what I see to my own camera which is a Panasonic HC VX 900 I need better quality and this seems to be a step up. I have never had a point and shoot camera since I was a teen (long time ago) I'm used to my palm held camcorder and pop it in any pocket when not in use. A 3lb bulky camera is a massive new thing for me and I'd have to learn from scratch all the settings etc. Auto will do for starters... OK so my Q (TO ANYONE) is about the price. A UK seller or foregn? UK around £800 or swiss, usa etc closer to £580 ? I want to hold one and get a general feel of it before I commit to buy obviously and I'd be happy to do a night class to learn the basics. Can anyone recommend a decent and trustworthy seller at a good price?
@@ahmedrashed78 Yes. It is nice to get a sturdy tripod to watch the moon or capture a star too. Stars look like a ball of rolling plasma. It is a fun camera.
Very good video
Awesome
very nice footage. very crisp.
Thank you for your birds
Great capture.
Nice movie.
zoom on the camera is completely raw.
Thanks for watching!
@ahr vlogs is it worth buying?
Was this captured in HD or 4k ?
nature1upclose I always shoot in 4K when possible
@@ahmedrashed78 Thanks for the info.

How much price in dubai for this camera
Around 3000 dhs nowadays, did you get one already? Sorry for late reply
How do you focus while recording + zooming? If I'm focused before zoom, my camera goes out of focus as I zoom in.
Try to zoom in more smoothly and to always keep your subject in the middle of the frame, also do you have continuous AF on?

@@thesalasbro5622 that is not normal, recording should have no effect on focusing performance, do you have it set on auto?
@@ahmedrashed78 Thank you, I just figured it out in settings! It was set to focus once, instead of continual focus.
@@thesalasbro5622 enjoy your camera :)

Tenho uma P900 e não deixa nada a desejar pra P1000! Ambas são praticamente iguais!
Ever consider using a *tripod ?*
I should
Shows great stabilization hand held.
@@luvpamelanewton absolutely, and it makes me not want to use a tripod lol
Nice footage.
Thanks Pamela, do you own the camera?

Psychedelic. Or may be I am too stoned.
or maybe both
"Bird watching"...
Not birds watching.
Done!
Turn off Zoom Sound
An external mic is a good idea too.
There is no option to turn off zoom sound, best solution is external mic, I might try that next :)
@@ahmedrashed78 Yes. External mic.
