- Here is a video that tells the story behind me and my brother's annual Downwind Camps.
We honed our downwind skills here in Fish Hoek South Africa and really wanted to share it with as many as who are wanting to take their downwind paddling to the next level. We also know that we live in a beautiful place, and we love to share that with as many as possible. The desire to help others improve and share our home is what led to the Downwind Camps.
Downwind paddling is such a unique discipline. It's very outdoors, in stormy, churned up water. It takes skill and fitness. It's adventurous. After a downwind paddle your body is coursing with a very addictive blend of adrenaline and endorphins. And it seems that no matter how much of it you do...you just never get enough. Through the Downwind Camps we want to help as many as possible experience the most they can from it. - Спорт

Awesome guys. So much has changed since I competed for first Strand Surf then just prior to my departure to the US Clifton Surf. Miss the great surf and downwind paddling. Keep up the good work. Keep the passion and doing what you love!

Great video and music. Very interesting course having come into paddling late in life, but getting my kids into it. Showed them the young bloke @ 11:52 in vid to show them ocean paddline is for all. Well done.
