DXP8400 use a pentium 9505 CPU, that can push only 9400 points in CPU Benchmark, instead that that Ryzen7-5825u CPU can push double points, it has more powerful cpu, but the complete item price significant lower.
I have to use xpenology since 2014, so now use it with that. That case, psu and CPU (ryzen7-5825u) power brilliant, 3mm full cast aluminium case is safe under earthquake, 120w psu more than enough, CPU power more than enough, if you use any operation system with 7-8 VMs, but now still future proof. But unfortunately i afraid it Will cook my CPU, so slightly modified mine, because it comes from factory with bad cooling design, 120mm fan push fresh air through hdd caddy only, but the holttest part is the CPU, heatsink and small fan try cool down CPU, in a small, closed space, so CPU temp is very high, easily can rise over 78c. Dismantled, apply mx4 thermal paste, drill nine 10mm holes over CPU fan, to hdd caddy bottom plate, and replace weak design 120mm fan to an arctic 140mm fan, that fit perfectly, drill four holes to back plastic grille, and hang fan with four silicone fan hangers tó that grille, lowering fan to center, so now it can push fresh air to bottom place around heatsink, that fresh air can cool down cpu. Checked with a win11, idle 39c now with 1200 rpm CPU fan, full stress testing before bios throttling is 78c with 2600 rpm fan for a short time, then fall to 68c, CPU, because i set in the bios CPU power limits to 15-35-25w tdp. Power consumption is 20 watt with a pair of 500gb NVME SSD for R/W cache, and a 8TB WD red plus HDD. Superfast, lagfree, warm, noiseless nas for $500 was a good deal for me. Do not hesisate, it's a Best Buy now.
Now i examined deeper that cpu temp issue, I got mine with the newest bios, 24/08/02 date, that shows high cpu temp. If i flash older 23/12/15 bios, i get better result, 25°C mobo, and 25°C cpu, increasing and decreasing happens in same second, that very very strange. Tried check with win11, idle 38-39, 100% load under cpu bench got 59-65°C, that very good, so only bios shows that faulty high temp, now i wait for a new bios, but the machine works on 0.-24 without any issues.
硬盘横置是比竖置更合理。因为在桌面上出现意外移动的时候都是横移，这对横向高速旋转的盘片不会产生偏转力矩。而竖直方向高速旋转的盘片会产生很大的偏转力矩。这对硬盘有害。

天钡的大梁有没有技术支持？ 我之前买的 nas 5500U的版本，装esxi 7,8 和PVE 7,8 都会不定期重启，想问问看是不是有新的bios可以更新。他们官网上面没有。或者是bios里面用个如何设置，bios里面设置项实在是太多了。。
这机型要是早出两个月我就买了，性价比超高，缺点可以接受，不用自己折腾
