You are obviously a veteran at this your words are very wise. I will say that TK is the best. For sure the service centers for RM and DY are not as plentiful. Carrier units are crap! RM not much better DY is okay. Keep in mind there are independent shops that are cheaper and give better work than dealers. But they are few and far between. Buy extended warranty as they will pay for themselves. My two cents as a 15 year APU and heavy truck ac mechanic.
Good to know. My experience with rig master is from old prime inc trucks that my friends own. Their experience have not be pleasant with rigmaster apu.
Never used the green apu. I have experience with tripac and carrier pro. Tripac you can get aftermarket products and replace parts on the cheap. These thing’s only worth it you can fix it yourself otherwise you end up paying a lot for repairs and don’t save much money sometimes even lose money. Hope it helps. I would stay with tripac if I had to choose.
You might want try fixing the apu by yourself. Because sometimes the dealership leave nuts and bolts loose. The sensor keeps showing the same code over and over again. I had tripac that keep showing Alternator code. I sent a lot of money at the dealership. I finally had enough tried fixing the apu myself. It’s been 2 yrs I have not had any problems with it again. I also do my own oil changes. I hope this helps
I am not Familiar with the brand. Tripac is the go to option for me. I would even consider getting a used one with low hrs. Reason being a lot info online about common issues and part availability online such as eBay or Amazon. I hope this helps
@@citizenofearth1000 HP 200 did for me.. and its motor is so not expensive to the point that you can just get brand new one for $200 and its manufacture up in ilinois will install it for you

I do agree with you regarding buying extended warranty on the unit. It does help in the long run to save money and headache.
