...and she did this 6 nights in a row and the consistency she performed these are just downright magnificent. She was only supposed to perform with David for 4 nights and ended being asked to perform all nights as she was very impressive indeed.
I agree one thing about mori she respectful to the original singers who she covers we now how great she is she has her own path she don’t copy others she is who she is
I have been watching this lady perform at the shopping malls, at home and now in front of musical royalty, and she never ever short changes anyone any time. Total pro dedicated to her art.

Yes right David Foster is one great musician with 16 grammies under his belt and the fact he invited Morissette to perform in his concert is one huge opportunity....also in fact that David mentioned on that stage that Morissette will be known everywhere sounds like a promise and when David makes a promise he delivers....like what he did for the 2 other filipino artists named Charice pempengco and Gerphil Flores. With Morissette's caliber I believe David can make another Whitney Houston or Celine Dion in her.

Morissette kept pretty much to the original with of course her iconic growls and squeaks and that Morissette swagger! David foster was wowed by her high note 2.57 into your clip. That’s such a compliment by David without putting it in words. She was truly born to be on that stage performing.

The very first nite....Mori sang...Never Enough and then...I Have Nothing....giving way to Katherine McPhee , to do . I'll Always Love You. For the rest of the 5 days , Mori sang Never Enough, I Have Nothing and I'll Always Love Love. The first night, Mori is in the royal blue gown.

I think this is my most favorite reaction you did for Morissette. There are no "but", "if only", "however", "I would have preferred", and the like. This time it's just all positive comments about this sterling performance of Mori with the music legend David Foster. We are proud of her. To be selected by David and invited to perform from Day 1 up to last Day 6 of this concert series, from among the many talented Filipino singers, is a huge feat for Mori. And she did not disappoint David, and all those who have attended. David was impressed, even her fellow performers were amazed by her, working with her for the first time. Whitney is NOT original singer of "I will always love you" that was Dolly Parton who wrote the song as a farewell to her friend Porter Wagoner's TV show when she decided to go solo career singing. It was a number one hit for Dolly in 1974, Whitney again in 1992 when the soundtrack of "The Bodyguard" came out.
She is Asia's Phoenix for a reason. One of the world's best singers that is unknown in the U.S.Before Mori there was Charice
Since I first heard of Morissette about a year ago, I hoped that someday David Foster would discover her as he did Charice, to give her the international exposure she needs to reach her full potential. I was so glad that has happened, and hope he will take her on future tours. She deserves to be appreciated around the world.

And to think this is off someone's cell phone, how good is Morissette. The 1st night David's wife actually sang the 2nd half of this medley but after he heard Morrisett sing the 1st song he had her do both songs from the 2nd night on. She also sings Never Enough if you react to it choose the one Morrisett is wearing a Black Gown that's the best audio.. enjoy your reactions always of Morrisett. It has been interesting watching your journey with Morissette! I think at the beginning you had not fully understood how versatile and ridiculously consistent she is interpreting great songs in her own special way. All Mori die hards really appreciate you sticking with her and promoting her on your channel. Many thanks for that. Look forward to the next one.
I'm only speaking for myself, not Marc, but I think sometimes it's hard for some people with a pretty strict classical/musical theatre background to wrap their minds around a singer essentially making their own job "more difficult" by utilizing stylistic choices that just aren't common/a thing, period, in the genres they're used to. That said, some of my most favorite reactors are voice teachers and vocal coaches who are knowledgeable and open-minded enough to embrace singers whose styles may be different from their own standard preferences. And I share your sentiments of appreciation for Marc 😊

Just going to thank you for once again featuring her. I have nothing to add. You said it all. When covering the trinity the question is was justice done and it unquestionably was done here by Morissette, for me one of the best covers Ive seen and I have consumed plenty over the years. It's interesting because I came upon a video of Whitney Houston covering Jennifer Holidays "And I'm Telling You I'm not going " and even the great Whitney couldn't escape the "No one sings it like the original " comment crowd. Which was funny because it's Whitney! Lol. Definitely when time permits react to her performance of Never Enough with Foster. This was a multiple night concert with only fan cam footage. I don't know if linking it here would work, but my personal favorite night she is in a floor length black gown. You actually can't go wrong with any night but the video quality varies.

Marc, if you do react to it, her day 2 performance in the black gown seems to be the most popular, or day 5 in the yellow gown. Day 1 in the blue gown is nice as well. She was great in all her performances, though. David had her trying some new things at each show, and she rose to every occasion asked of her.

This was a 5 day thing. Originally this was done by Mori and Kathrine. It was obvious to all, including David I imagine, that Katherine should away for Mori to do both numbers. Impressive.

@@judithtorres4409 None whatsoever, but if you watch the first day(?), you will see Mori doing the first number, introducing Katherine who did the second song. I must admit being confused that Katherine disappeared the next time around. Mori did both.
A reactor even made a comment that it must have been intimidating to follow Mori onto the stage. :)

Can you imagine that what she did on that chorus with one breath.
We MUST remember that "I will always love you" is a Dolly Parton song...she wrote it for Porter Wagner when she left his TV show to go solo. When Kevin Costner found out that they couldn't use "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted" for "The Bodyguard" movie They changed it to "I will always love you", They actually had to contact Dolly to ask permission cause it is actually HER song. She gave permission and the rest is history. She loved Whitney's arrangement (which the iconic David Foster had did much of the arrangements of the sound track for that movie), and Whitney's performance of it...the first time she heard Whitney singing it, she was driving home from her office, and had to pull over to keep from wrecking it shocked and impressed her so much. She loved it! Plus, off every sale of Whitney's version of this song, they had to pay Dolly a percentage as the song writer, which she still has the rights to it by the way. So Whitney added to Dolly's wealth, so Dolly is happy with that as well.

five consecutive nights with David. Mori's Never Enough and BG medley, every.single.night 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 its been pointed out that it was 5 nights and six shows (matinee on the last day), but Mori only did five shows. Pity the matinee pips for missing out.

There was one song missing that was RUN TO YOU, and the medley would have been better if Mori was allowed to sing the songs full, then David counting Mori in was not needed, sorry David but hearing 1 2 3 was not very professionell where a hand Signal would have been enough, even that was not needed, Mori has great timing, just watch the Bruno Mars Evolution medley, perfection, I know what your going to say but Mori sings with 3rd Avenue all the time, that is partly true, the Band was good but not perfect because they had not played together for long, by the last concert they were much better.
He counted for Katharine, too, and they perform together all the time, so maybe it's just his thing nowadays. I agree with you though, on that and also about wishing she would have sang Run to You.
